S and J has been honest and very responsive taking care of my wife's 23 year old Honda Civic with only 80,000 miles on it. I would recommend them to my own mother if she were still alive.

This time they were prompt, but when I went to pick it up I noticed they had charged me $26.05 for ONE spark plug. I thought it was a mistake and questioned it, the owner insisted they were super duper spark plugs and had cost him $21 and he added only $5 so I could have a warranty for the work. I got a little suspicious about the other items and since I knew the parts came from O'Reilly's, I checked each part # and this is what I found. I've attached a pic of the invoice if you'd like to check my numbers. Also, don't shops get a discount on parts? O'Reilly's Prices here are not sale prices. Using the part #s on the invoice PART O'Reilly's PRICE WHAT I WAS CHARGED Oil Filter $5.79 $14.27 Motor Oil $13.49 $18.95 Motor oil 5 quart $28.99 $69.58 Brake Fluid $8.49 $16.22 Automatic Trans Fluid $10.99 $29.87 Antifreeze $20.99 $71.98 Air Filter $26.99 $60.94 Cabin Air Filter $21.99 $39.00 Strut Assembly $209.99 $286.75 Shock Absorber $81.99 $156.08 Spark Plug $10.49 $26.05 Plenum Gasket Set $36.99 $54.08 Serpentine Belt $29.99 $55.20 SOME PARTS REQUIRED MULTIPLES. For instance, 6 spark plugs cost me $156.30. Plus a charge of $182.65 to install the plugs! Now, this only addresses the parts, my total invoice was over $3000, causing me to dip into savings. My recommendation for anyone using this shop ---get a parts quote upfront and check them out or go get the parts yourself and take them to them. That reminds me, I had a new, in the box, cabin air filter in my glove box. I got charged $39 for a cabin air filter and my new one is no longer there.

At desk, Joe , took my information. Went to run errands and came back twice to the car shop to check on the status of car and every single time my car has not been worked on, Joe ( help at front desk) kept saying your car is next and will be an hour or so for diagnostic. Here came 13:30 almost 14:00 and my car has not been worked on at all . It sat in their lot for 6 hrs for nothing. All I asked is for clean, clear communication and not feel I was being given the run around when my car was going to be worked on. I even felt this helper at the front desk ( Joe) might have been prejudiced against me being a petite latina woman. Michael was very professional but this Joe person does not have any customer service skills. They may have 5 rating review that is why I took my car there for a diagnostic but a 5 rating review was not my experience today. I lost one day now I have to take another day off and find another location to service my car. I have a busy schedule and this was just not right. And its ok lets say they are a busy shop but communicate clearly. And I asked why did I make an appointment to bring the car in then???? Was given some BS answer.

My total biil would be 3306.00. I told them to give my car back and was told i needed a tow truck because they tore apart my car amd it was not drivable anymore.the said the tow truck driver would have to get it off of the lift inside the shop and the bill was 2800.00 if they finished bit 550.00 to gey it in pieces!? After 4 days and they didnt figure me foing the work of tracking down cost of parts and know that 1000.00 for parts and 2500.00 for labor is not fair or right.they are ripping off people everday.and most dont realize this. I get a car in pieces that i never told them to take apart and i have a car not able to drive and pay the 550.00 to get the car in pieces that i could drive to there place of business!
