I was at Texas Roadhouse this weekend with family members from out of state. We called ahead to be put on the waitlist. This is where the horrible experience started. The telephone person was rude and had no interest in explaining the waitlist process. I tried to explain that we had a large party and if we could be seated as close together as possible. Opposite of the request half of our party was on the opposite side of the building last table by the restrooms. The manager and staff with the exception of our waiter were rude and in need of customer service training. We spent over three hundred dollars. We generally come here often but after our experience this past weekend i wont ever go back there and I will tell anyone that will listen about this rude and unprofessional service at Texas Roadhouse. Classic Texas roadhouse, the rolls are always a highlight for me. The shrimp is consistently good, loaded up with butter as are most of their food items, but that's to be expected. I have had great service here the two times we've gone, and this place is always packed. Expect a wait. read more

We often get takeout here ever since the Pandemic as the quality has far outpaced the competition. The last few times they have had an issue, yesterday our order was missing a small side AND all of the bread. The food at Texas Roadhouse is far better than 99 and Chilis and Longhorn. We eat steaks from TR that are so good that my father, whose restaurant has a Michelin star, cannot beat it! My daughter and I went in and asked for the missing items and the manager made up for the trouble in spades! She gave us an entire shopping bag of bread and butter. This is the first Texas Roadhouse I've come across that puts beans in it's chili. I've been to a number of Texas Roadhouses in different states and I always enjoy the chili except here. Real Texas chili does not have beans in it, once you add beans it's now a stew. A horrible stew. Don't put beans in the chili!! read more

I really like Texas Roadhouse, but this restaurant and others should be better serving of people with disabilities. Rather than inconvenience a server, it seems more appropriate to this restaurant to inconvenience a 90+ year old with a heart condition. They need to be more thoughtful of folks who may need to sit closer to the entrance. read more

This place was a roller coaster of emotions (one of the ones that goes up really slow and comes down really fast). Our table was mistakenly given to another woman of the same name which delayed our seating by about 20 minutes. This encounter was not serendipitous and did not provide adequate satisfaction. The food, however, screams its differs. The meat, sides, and desserts were all exquisite and perfectly cooked. In accordance, the building was decorated beautifully on the inside, displaying traditional Texan styles of art. The server, Jack, was kind with a good personality. My meal was on time but did not have the potatoes or gravy for either meal and I was missing my side. We also only received one set of forks. This place is a factory. People in, people out. Everything seemed scripted. Somebody different brings each part of your order to you. This means you interact with several staff which makes it feel more like a factory than a cozy dining experience. The service is good, although impersonal. I went to the bathroom in the middle of my meal and returned to find half the food and a coat got cleared away. Of course they made things right but it was very impersonal. Four stars because the food is good and the service strives to be efficient and often is. Beware. Possesses exactly the sort of tackiness from a large corporate franchise unironically selling authenticity that one should expect. The steak was fine, but nothing exceptional; one can do better at home. Waitstaff didn't look happy to be there. Our table wasn't cleaned off between courses (servers don't bus, or...?). The hostesses peered out at us with glazed-over eyes; their fatalistic disdain both for their career nadir and for the customers was unsubtle. I came here last night after a long day of driving with my elderly grandmother. She unfortunately suffers from Alzheimer's so sometimes she gets very confused and is hard to deal with. Her favorite comfort food is the salmon from Texas Roadhouse. When we entered this Texas Roadhouse, it was very busy and my grandmother was getting upset. The worker at the front, Grace, did a great job at assuring my grandmother that she would get her salmon and would be seated shortly. Her small act of kindness and help really helped me after a long day with Grammy. She went out of her way to assure we would recieve good service. I happened to pass by this Texas roadhouse on my drive home after the holidays. It's been an especially hard Christmas (first since my husbands passing). I stopped to get a quick meal and had the pleasure of being helped by Grace. I couldn't find the takeout place at first -mom brain- but she assured me I was in the right area! Grace was amazing with my two girls and kept them entertained while I paid and even made sure my order was all correct for me. 5 stars. Guys it's a classic Texas Roadhouse with nice patient staff and standard American food. The cactus blossom is greasy and addicting. The rolls are buttery and addicting. The peanuts are fatty and addicting. My friends liked their steaks but the fries weren't the best. Super well seasoned though. If you wait to eat there, you will probably enjoy your meal and have outstanding service. If you order to go there is a high chance your order will be late (over 30 minutes) and will be cold by the time you get it. They might even ask you to wait 15 minutes more for rolls. I would suggest they stop putting the to go order bags on the floor also. read more

So I'm giving it 3 stars based on the confusing set up of ordering on line. If you order on line they send you a text when your food is ready and tell you to Wait in the pick up order to go spot. Well I waited and waited and wait then I decided to go up to the pick up window and there was nobody there so I went inside and was greeted by a girl with a look on her face like she was peeved that I came inside to pick up my order that had been sitting there. Arrives early about 4 pm for early dinner. Had the combo , shared it, plenty enough for two. Ordered ribeye steak and shrimp. Steak was cooked perfectly, med rare! I sat at the bar and they are severely understaffed. It was 10 minutes before I was ever acknowledged and when I ordered my second drink I said when you come back I would order. It took her 15 minutes to return with a bottle of beer which was sat down then she walked away and had to wait another 5 minutes to place my order. Don't get me wrong the bartender was doing her best but her management was failing her by not being there to help. We are from new york and we visited burlington vt and we decided to go to one of our favorite restaurants and omg they were so much better. Even though it's still all the same food somehow it was just better. Service was pretty good, we got in pretty quickly and we went on the day of college graduation. The building is a little bit smaller than it is in new york but the still have a great style in there and the music wasn't too loud so i could still take to my partner. The waiter for my table finally came over to take my order, she didn't give me any utensils. I don't know what is going on with this location (possibly new management?) I generally don't give negative reviews but enough is enough. In the last 30 days I have had 3 take out orders and one dine in meal. On my three take orders dressings/dips were missing. I ordered boneless buffalo wings. These were nothing more than strings with breadcrumbs (picture calamari tentacles) and they forgot vegetables and blue cheese. Another take out ordered large chili. It came in two small cups and was cold. Not warm. Not room temperature. COLD. Third time, medium rare steak is not brown throughout. Today, I was one of seven people in the restaurant. The bartender was working her tail off while there were more than five women standing around talking. My salad took forever and magically appeared the same time as my steak. Additionally, they have little flies floating around the bar trying to land on your food. The gentleman sitting next to me killed several. I love going to Texas Roadhouse with my family. The food is kind of a hit or miss depending on what you're getting but the rolls and butter are delicious. The service is very nice and welcoming and the speed of the service depends on how busy it is. It's usually less busy in the beginning of opening time. The ambiance really makes you feel like you're in Texas with (fake) cactus decorations and animals(also fake) mounted to the walls. read more
