I'm a big fan of Texas Roadhouse. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. Their iced teas are amazing. The peach tea is my personal favorite. The adult drinks are a highlight too with frozen flavored margaritas. The kids meals hit the mark for simplicity and value and the kids actually eat all of it. They are more budget friendly than drive thru fast food with more nutrition. You can order on the app and pull up and they will bring the order to the car via curb side pick up. My little one loves the steak and veggies combo. The staff is reliable and kind. The dining room is clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. They are in my consistent rotation. read more

Texas Road House are such a nice brand, they figured it out how to make you happy for lunch half price for a top Koch meal. The hot bread in the basket is their signature, I always have to stop myself at the 2nd basket . We have visited here twice while in the area, sirloin steaks are first class. This location is always busy. The crowd and noise levels can get rather boisterous. The staff is able to still provide excellent service. The food was cooked to order and received in a timely fashion. The wait staff makes sure you're aware of the progress until your order arrives. We have ALWAYS loved Texas Roadhouse, and this location had NEVER disappointed, until they did. Last Saturday, we celebrated my son's 20th birthday and he requested to dine at Texas Roadhouse. We arrived shortly before 6:30 with a party of 10. We were told that it would be a 45 to 55 minute wait. We had no problem and understood we had a large party to accommodate and gladly waited. An hour after, I approached the hostess and she said we would have to be seated in two separate booths and they were waiting for one of the two to finish. We continued to wait and a few minutes before 8, I again approached the hostess and ask for an update on our seating arrangements. She then mentioned that the group they were waiting on had just ordered dessert and they were still waiting. We had two toddlers in our group and at this point, they are hungry, cranky and tired, not to mention that we had already waited and hour and a half. We asked to speak to a manager. She came and apologized and said she would see what else could be done. We were upset at the fact that many, many people were sat before us and it never occurred to them to try to accommodate us else where, instead they kept their eyes on the two booths and left us waiting. Finally we said that we would take any booths available, it made no sense to continue to wait when our group was getting split anyway. Finally we were sat with a booth between our two groups. The couple in the booth in between had just sat down and when noticed that we were split, they offered to switch with us. Switchong was a great ordeal due to the he lost refusing to allow it even though the couple offered to do so. We were tired, hungry, upset, and extremely disappointed with everything and everyone. It really sucked because our waiter, Marc, was amazing. He took great care of us, tried so hard to make our group whole again and to cheer us up. The good was also GREAT. We enede the night with a few smiles and full bellies, all thanks to Marc and his amazing service and people skills. My favorite day off late lunch spot! I always sit at the bar to enjoy watching Football and having a conversation with the bartenders! Gabe was the extraordinary bartender today.. We've had some good meals at other Texas Roadhouse restaurants, so we thought we'd come here for a late lunch/early dinner as we were nearby. We were disappointed. First off, it's absolutely freezing inside the restaurant. The air is just blasting and all the staff were wearing sweaters and jackets. This is just crazy. Secondly, the music is blaring. And they turn it up every so often so the staff can dance. It's one thing if there are a lot of folks in the place and you're trying to get everyone's attention, but they start loud and just go to ear drum bursting levels. The guys sitting next to us having a business lunch were having to yell their conversation, so we heard every bit of it. We sat at the bar, thinking we would get faster service. The one gal there was waiting on those of us seated at the bar, drinks for other servers, and kept disappearing to I don't know where. So service was a bit of a challenge after we'd ordered and had a slight problem. My husband ordered a steak salad. He said the steak was okay -- a bit too spicy even for him, but the vinaigrette dressing helped moot some of the pepper. My steak -- that I had ordered Pittsburgh style came out so peppery that it was inedible. I got up from my seat with my steak plate and tried to find the bartender/server. The gals at the hostess desk saw me and told me that I had to return to my seat to talk to my original server -- as they couldn't help me. After a bit, I was able to return my steak to be cooked as requested. I got my steak back and although it was rarer than desired, I ate the outside rather than wait again. I was schooled by the bartender/server that they call this method of cooking as Pittsburgh "charred" and that's the wording I needed to use in the future here. My wife and I have eaten at Roadhouse for lunch and dinner at various locations in our travels. This Roadhouse lunch experience could have been better. We sat at the bar and our server was friendly and quick to offer beverages as we looked over the menu. We placed our orders and the salads were delivered in a short amount of time. My wife's steak was delivered but not as she had ordered it, so back to the kitchen. The corrected steak order was delivered after I had finished my lunch. During our visit, several times our conversation was interrupted by the blaring LOUD music which was accompanied by a half dozen servers doing a kitschy Line Dance. (The dance seemed to be enjoyed by the servers more than the diners present). We will give Texas Roadhouse another shot, just don't know if it will be this particular one. Stick to customer service and correct food preparation. Leave the entertainment to a different venue. read more

I thought there was a special event or something. Nope! Just delicious, hot, fresh Bread! And cinnamon butter. My word I love that Bread. The other food items were super good as well. I wouldn't bet the churrasco shin but it was good. I'd just get a steak. I loved the rib basket appetizer. Their ribs are top notch for restaurant ribs. The heroes were nothing special. Our server was good, and attentive. We enjoyed the staff's enthusiasm and especially the manager's attention to make sure that we were being served well. Being a chain restaurant it was well decorated as you would expect. We popped in on kids night which looked very fun for the kids. My wife had 8 oz sirloin and shrimp. She said steak was perfect. I had 20 oz ribeye it was a bit undercooked for medium rare, sides were perfect. We thought we were getting happy hour margaritas but were charged slightly more. Just wish it was clarified better. Food and everything was great but the service was terrible. My friend and I came from the fair at 9:00pm so we had an hour til closing. From the start our waiter seemed impatient asking "please tell me yall are ready to order". We order and ask as well for rolls of bread 30 minutes later she comes out saying "I'm sorry I think yall order bread right?" Then she explains today has been a long day so I give her the benefit of the doubt. Then we order dessert, she got very mad at us yelling saying "I've been here since 12pm, and I'm not messing around." And as she walks away she mumbles to herself "I'm going to sh**t myself"... ( we ordered 3 items) This is unacceptable behavior, I understand you've had a long day but you still have to do your job. 10 minutes later expecting dessert, she comes back saying there is no one in the kitchen and it's closed. Keep in mind she waited extra longer until it was closing time when she had said this it was 5 minutes past closing time. The fact that she waited til it closed to say that is insane to me. She is a bigger sized lady, she never said her name to us ( im not surprised) today is 2/1/26 and she was wearing long pink sleeves. First time at this chain and the place was much larger than expected. It is nicely decorated, has a good feel and as soon as you get inside the hostess takes you to your table while bring a basket of warm bread. Service was attentive, nice, and very smooth. Now onto the food, actually first we had an Old Fashioned (pretty good) and a Gin Flower (a bit too sweet). The server also bring a bag of peanuts, nice touch. Anyway, we ordered a filet mignon and a ribeye with green peas and Caesar salad as sides. The result was a bit on and off for the food. The bread. Good idea, but it's the typical super soft and super sweet bread given in local steakhouses, so we didn't care much about it, even less about the cinnamon butter. Filet mignon, ordered medium-rare. Very good, tender as expected, tasty and cooked just right. Best thing of the meal. Ribeye, ordered medium-rare. This was a big disappointment: besides being raw more than medium rare, it was probably the fattest and full of tough tissues ribeye I ever had. It was pretty much all fat and nerves and combined with the fact that it was pretty much rare, purple inside, it was inedible. We tried but it was as chewy as it gets, it was tough to swallow the bite, so not good. Maybe we got unlucky with the piece of meat, I don't know. Caesar salad. Good portion, good dressing so all was good. Green beans. Not good. They came with bacon and maybe the idea would have been great if they had toasted the bacon and then added the peas to finish. Instead, the thing was like in a broth, and it wasn't a good broth because all you could taste was the flavor of bacon. You might think: I love the taste of bacon! Me too, but not a broth that tastes only like bacon; even the green peas tasted "bacony" and super greasy. So, we will go back, again, nice place, with good service, food is hit and miss at least in this first experience, but overall it's a good addition especially in western PBC considering the lack of decent steakhouses in the area. Oh, the merlot wine is pretty good, dry, and a good pairing with the meat; the Pinot Noir a bit too fruity for my taste but okay. Generous pour, at reasonable prices. read more

My family loves Texas Roadhouse. It is the best value in our area. When the price of a sit down meal is just slightly more than fast food you know it's time to sit down. The food is excellent, service is great, the one complaint I have is the temperature. I get you want people in and out and want to turn the tables over, but the cold is ridiculous and the argument that the kitchen gets cold is moot-add a new zone for the kitchen if it gets hot. Otherwise the ambience is very much Texas-every bit of the feeling of being in a steak house in Houston. read more

Very loud, but enjoyable. I haven't been here since before covid and some things have changed, not for the better. First the peanuts used to come in nice big buckets and you could eat them and toss the shells on the floor. That little activity really drove home the "Texas" feel they were going for. Now they serve a little bag of nuts and it's just not as much fun. The wait staff still dances every 20 mins and that's fun, but it does get crazy loud in there. The prime rib I ordered was a little over done, but still tender and juicy. The side dishes seem a bit chintzy, two spoons of potatoes and it's all gone. I prefer side dishes piled high on the plate. If you're gonna spend. $30 bucks on a steak at least make it a filling meal. Our server Matteo was awesome. I wanna bush about how nice and considerate he was, because he was all that. It's a pretty big-sized restaurant located in a big plaza, so parking will never be a problem. They are only open for dinner (at 4 p.m.) during the week, while on Fridays and during the weekend they also serve lunch. We stopped here for lunch last Saturday, as soon as they opened at 11 a.m. You enter the restaurant through a small foyer; on your left, you'll see a small store, and a display of meats (by the kitchen entrance); on your right is the host, who will accompany you to the table bringing you a basket of rolls and butter, plus a bag of peanuts. The place got crowded very quickly. The staff is friendly, and sometimes they all perform a line dance (which was fun to watch). We both started with a cocktail, then continued our lunch with a Pinot Noir and a Merlot: no complaints here. The small rolls that come with the butter and the peanuts are just okay: the bread is soft and the butter has a cinnamon flavor (to be fair though: I am not crazy for soft bread or flavored butter in general). We ordered a filet mignon with Caesar salad + mashed loaded potatoes and a ribeye with green beans + fries. We both requested our meats medium-rare, but while the filet mignon was cooked to perfection (and was very good), the ribeye was rare. I love rare meat, but this steak was very fatty and "nervous", and the "nerves" made it very difficult to eat. The Caesar salad was probably the best I had; the loaded mashed potato was good; the fries came out a little bit too dark in my opinion; I didn't like the taste of the green beans (cooked in some kind of broth) at all. Although at the end of the meal, I wasn't hungry (they serve decent portions), I still "had to" order a dessert. They don't have a wide selection, and I had a cheesecake, which was just ok. Not sure if they are simply short-staffed, or if it's their procedure, but I noticed that empty plates and glasses are not taken away as soon as possible. I normally try to avoid chains, but this restaurant was above my expectations. Prices are overall decent, and they also offer an Early Dine Menu with special prices on some of their dishes. I love TX Roadhouse and my favorite dishes are probably not ones you'd expect them to be known for. Their Caesar salad is amazing - great seasoning and dressing. And my go to entree lately is the salmon dinner. The flavor and buttery sauce are exquisite. TX Roadhouse also makes an excellent baked potato, so that and the Caesar salad make for great side options! Then they punished us by making us wait at the hostess stand for 15 minutes after we had already checked in on the app 20 min prior, been seated, and then still would not give a table by the window.
