The music in here today was incredibly loud. A couple of times the person waiting on me had to say "what did you say?" The music was so loud that I couldn't understand what the person waiting on me was saying. And I'm not hard of hearing. I asked a couple of times if the music could be turned down. After a while the person waiting on me turned the music down. The person waiting on me was nice. I just think that a person ordering food shouldn't be overwhelmed by the volume of music played in a restaurant. It was ridiculously loud. read more

This place was an utter disapointment. It deserves zero stars but that is not an option. I try to test other restaurants when I am in town. I learned my lesson. This place had a limited menu. I not sure they even had a smoker. Boiling the meat does not qualify. They place this sauce on all the meat destroying the meat. I tried to scrap it off. The sides were limited. I settled for French fries and macaroni and cheese. The sides were all carbs. No Cole slaw. Buyer beware . I will never return. read more

Disappointed. I went here for the first time today and I was told they were out of mac & cheese, which is fine. And that it would be about 25 or 30 minutes on Ribs. That should've been a red flag to me, but I wanted to believe lol I wanted to trust and I wanted some ribs lol. So I went and ran a couple of errands. I came back. My food was ready and when I got the ribs home, they tasted like.... nothing. They just tasted almost like they were boiled or quick baked with barbecue sauce... I don't know how they prepared these ribs, but it definitely did not live up to their name, off the bone!? Needless to say I won't be going back. I'm glad I used a Visa gift card and didn't pay out-of-pocket for this meal. Although the collard greens and the potato salad were good, you go to a place called off the bone for ribs that are falling off the bone and actually taste like they've been marinated and seasoned. So unfortunately, this was a bust, but that's OK. Another review giving it to you Straight No Chaser! read more

Great kind customer service but food was just alright. My husband got the wings and didn't like it at all. I got the ribs and it was just ok. Not sure if we will return. read more

Went in on a Friday afternoon & was greeted when I arrived. I ordered the rib dinner with collard greens, macaroni & cheese, and cornbread. I am not a huge fan of ribs, but it wasn't Sunday so I couldn't order the turkey wing special that I really wanted. The ribs with the half half sauce were delicious. The baked Mac & cheese is great. The cornbread is the perfect amount of sweet and savory. They were also out of red velvet cake which sucked. The pound cake was good, but of course I had my mouth ready for red velvet. My partner had the pulled pork sandwich & said it had the perfect amount of sauce & loved it. The tiger hood ( half pink lemonade and half sweet tea) was so good, I finished the entire drink before I got home. You can call in to place your order ahead of time. I didn't need to because my food was ready about 5 minutes after I placed my order. Will definitely be back on a Sunday for the turkey wing dinner. read more

Off Tha Bone BBQ may be known for its smoked meats, but let me tell you -- their veggie plate and homemade desserts are absolute stars on their own. I ordered the Mac and Cheese, Rice & Peas, and Green Beans, and every bite tasted like true home-cooking. * The Mac and Cheese is creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked -- comfort food at its finest. * The Rice & Peas are seasoned just right, full of flavor without being heavy. * And the Green Beans? Delicious, tender, and clearly made with love. But the real surprise? Their homemade desserts. The cake is moist and rich, and the sweet potato pie tastes like something straight out of Grandma's kitchen -- warm, sweet, and full of that nostalgic spice. The dining room is designed to allow guests who want to sit down and eat to do it comfortably without feeling overwhelmed by those doing takeout. feFriendly service, generous portions, and flavors that keep you coming back... Off Tha Bone BBQ nailed it. Whether you're veggie or just craving comfort food done right, this spot is a must-try! read more

NEVER AGAIN!!!! This place is horrible. I gave it another chance, and somehow this experience was even worse than the last one. Once again, there were no rib tips available, and this time it was only 4:00 PM. That alone was frustrating, but what happened next was completely unacceptable. Today, with some hesitation, I took my uncle to Off the Bone for the first time. He wanted ribs, and he did not realize this place was right down the street from him. I told him I would take him there, but I warned him that this restaurant is very hit-or-miss because they often do not have the food you actually want. Unfortunately, today proved my point. Not only were there still no rib tips, but because of his health, my uncle did not want to travel farther just to find some. So we settled for ribs instead. Trying to stay positive, I ordered 2 rib dinners and 4 slices of cake. I specifically requested sweet barbecue sauce only, because neither my uncle nor I eat mustard. Of course, when the food came out, the ribs had a mix of sweet sauce and mustard sauce on them. I was told it was "some other sauce," but it was absolutely not what I asked for. I immediately asked the young man to take it back because I do not eat mustard and that was not my order. A few minutes later, he brought the food back. In the same container, they had simply poured more red sweet sauce over the food that already had mustard sauce on it. I was shocked. At that point, I immediately asked for my money back. He said, "Give me a minute," walked away, and then came back again, not with a refund, but with the same food in the same container. This time, it looked like they had tried to wipe the sauce off and put new sauce on the same ribs again. Who does that? By then, I told the young man I was getting very upset and that I only wanted my money back. Again, he walked away and came back, but still did not refund me. Instead, he brought out another rib dinner. This time it appeared to be a fresh plate, but with even less meat than before. My uncle looked at me and just shook his head. By then, he had already started eating his ribs with the mustard and sweet sauce mixed together just to keep the peace. Rather than continue arguing in front of him, I accepted the replacement plate and sat down to eat with him. The young man then asked me if I was okay, and I told him plainly: No, I am not okay. I explained to him that I am also a business owner, and this is not how customers should be treated. I also made it clear that I would be posting this review. I paid over $55, and this is how I was handled. To make matters worse, I had forgotten to tip the young man when I first ordered, so afterward I bought 2 bottles of water specifically so I could leave him a $10 tip. Looking back, after the way this situation was handled, keeping that tip felt like an insult. When we walked out, I said, "Never again." My uncle immediately said, "Never again too." Bringing me back the same food three times was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about food quality and proper handling. Refusing my refund twice was poor customer service. And after everything that happened, keeping my $10 tip felt like a complete slap in the face. Like I said before: DO NOT GO THERE!!!! read more

The first thing that immediately stands out is the friendly service. I was greeted by Mariah who was very sweet and helpful. I ordered the smothered pork chops dinner with mac n cheese and collard greens and it was wonderful. The meal also came with a piece of cornbread which was combo sweet savory. Delicious. I will definitely be returning to try the ribs and desserts. They have sweet potato pie! One other thing, I am not a fan of sweet drinks but I ordered a small sweet tea and I am glad I did. It was so good I was mad at myself for not getting a larger size. read more

I love Off Tha Bone! This location is better than the original because they have a bigger menu. The staff is always extremely kind when I come in and they know me by name because I come so often. The owner is super sweet and always comes to speak to me and thanks me for my business. Now the food is amazing. I'm a pretty plain girl so I always go for fried wings, mac and cheese and yams. But I also love the barbecue chicken and you get great portions for the price compared to other soul food restaurants in the area. It's also in a convenient location right next to Publix so I can order my food go grocery shopping and pick it up on the way out. Keep doing what you're doing guys! read more

I had been wanting to try this place. I decided to go with the chicken dinner and two sides and I ordered an extra side of collard greens. The dinner did come with the cornbread as well. I did get the barbecue sauce which was the most popular sauce. Everything was really good. There is quite a bit of parking in this parking lot. There is seating for the inside I did get this to go. The only thing is is that the girl at the counter did not seem like she wanted to be there. read more

Not the best BBQ or service in my opinion. Ribs weren't great and were filled with these odd tiny bones that we were nearly choking on. Would not go back. Also food was served in styrofoam. I think this is mainly a take out place but I guess we didn't understand that. read more

AMAZING service. When you eat here you're eating with family. Not only was the food amazing but the people were so kind and accommodating. Portion size was wonderful! It is an absolute must try. Always love to support family owned businesses!! I got the rib platter with chicken and for sides got collard greens, Mac and cheese, & candied yams (only on Sundays) everything was beyond great!! For dessert we got the 7up cake but definitely have to come back and try the rest. If you go you must try the "tiger hood" which is pink lemonade mixed with their sweet tea!! I cannot wait to come back read more

Really good food wonderful service.I well recommend. really good desserts, and homemade drinks.

The best BBQ not boiled is at 68th street and Seminol Pratt Whitney rd in Westlake FL. In Palm Beach County. His ribs are smoked on a pit you can see and never boiled,Ever. Real Pitmasters don't boil their ribs, only boil/bake masters do that. I challenge h8m to a BBQ Cookoff anytime he's ready but he ain't ready for this smoke. It's a fraud him calling boiled ribs BBQ, Texas is lol at him. Like ChimeTome said its garbage for those who don't like to cook or can't, so they settle for anything coming from his church. Lmao. Dee's BBQ on Tamarind is way better, trust me. BTW Papas BBQ is open on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays from 1230 pm to 6pm and 7pm 9n Fridays. His Beef Brisket is Rexas regulated and the best I've ever tasted too. read more

Amazing food and great customer service! If you're looking for a casual place with a really good barbecue and authentic southern sides, then this is the place to go. The desserts are also delicious! I tried the pecan poundcake, and I am in love. They did run out of chicken, rib tips, pulled pork, and turkey legs so you may want to call before going to make sure that they have what you want. This is the second location for a well-established barbecue spot and you won't be disappointed. read more

Not worth the price and time traveling there. I cook better at home. People you ain't missing nothing. Boiled ribs ain't it. Real Pitmasters don't boil ribs. read more

Off Tha Bone BBQ - a closeup of bbq barbecue ribs - Barbeque Near Me - West Palm Beach, Florida

Much overrated.....we ordered ribs & chicken combos. The ribs were fatty and some were burnt, cornbread was very dry & tasteless, mac & cheese tasted old & stale with cheap cheese that does not melt, last but not least, the collard greens were full of stalks and mediocre at best. This was definitely not good BBQ..... you can get better at Lucille's. The best thing overall was the sauce. Very disappointed.....$60 wasted on a Saturday meal that was obviously not fresh. read more

My friends and I went there for lunch yesterday and the food was great. I had the turkey leg dinner with collard greens and mac-n-cheese. My friends had the smoked sausage dinner and the rib dinner. All of the sides that came with our meals were very good. The baked beans were a real hit. It's counter service, so you order and pay and they bring it to you. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating. It was very clean also. This location (the original is on Tamarind Ave.) has only been open for 3 weeks. We will definitely be back. read more
