    Brisket with cheesy potato casserole
    Arielle J.

Delicious! I truly forgot the place was there and was craving bbq and it did not disappoint. Juicyyyy meat (we had brisket and pulled pork) really good sides (cheesy potato casserole sooooo good! And Mac n cheese was creamy.) i love the sauces and they don't charge you for the when you do takeout like most places now. Will absolutely be back.

What a fantastic experience everyone was so cool and helpful. There were 4 of us and they helped us decide what to eat, we ended up getting a little bit of everything. From brisket to pulled pork up to turkey to baby back ribs. The sides were coleslaw, baked beans and the most delicious mac & cheese that I've ever eaten. I wish I could remember everybody's names, but it was January 23 Friday evening at 8 o'clock. Everybody was absolutely fantastic! You could definitely tell the team worked together and really enjoyed their jobs. The food was delicious, full of flavor and you could tell everything was fresh made.. we had a pleasure sitting talking with a woman named Janet who was a Customer Service personality specialist, she was lovely. We learned more about Mission barbecue, and we got to know her. We will definitely come back. The food was great. The staff was amazing.!! Looking forward to our next visit.

1/2 smoked chicken with two sides

Checked this spot out on a Saturday evening. We sat outside which was nice and open. The insude was clean. You order at the counter, they call your name and you pick up. We had the 1/2 smoked chicken with baked beans and coleslaw, and the smoked burger with a side of Mac and cheese. The chicken came with a serving of cornbread. I tried the chicken and I was not a fan. It lacked seasoning for me. The burger was the same, no seasoning otherwise it was good, all the sides were excellent. The cornbread was a bit dry but good. I would return to try the ribs another time. They do have sauces for you to try on your meats.

I came by on a Saturday evening with my girl friend to find quite a few people inside and some outside. Plenty of parking spaces available. They were playing country music softly. I had the smoked chicken and she had the smoked burger. This is the best BBQ chain restaurant I've been too. Sides are ala carte.

It was our first visit to Mission barbecue. Place wasn't very busy and we walked straight up to the counter where the guy announced immediately we're out of ribs and pulled pork. Now in my book, those are the two staple things that keep the place going out of barbecue and it was Thursday night at about 630. So I ordered the brisket and my wife ordered the pulled chicken. I had a side of greens collard greens that is. And both orders came with cornbread. It's one of those places where you order at the counter and you take your food and sit at the table. We decided to take ours home. There are six different sauces and we had a little sampling of all. The brisket was good. The pulled chicken was fair. The pulled chicken was very heavily seasoned. Not spicy but a lot of seasoning on it. The brisket was perfect and it went down very well. I ate every Bite. We're on kind of a diet so neither of us ate the cornbread, but it looked really really good. I guess we're gonna have to give him another shot because I really wanted to have the ribs. No barbecue place should run out of ribs at 6:30 at night or pulled pork.

great service and great food here! i used to get food from here when i lived in broward and im so glad they opened up one closer to me!!! the cornbread and mac and cheese are delicious! i got the pulled chicken but definitely want to try the pulled pork next time! the food came out super quick and fresh! the decor of the place is cute as well it's very on theme for their business morals!

Soooooooo bad. I was excited to try. Nothing is good just boring.. bbq sauces were terrible like not one was good. Brisket bland and dry.

The manager Katherine was so rude and disrespectful. Never coming back to this place just because of her attitude.

We were not aware of side dish options so he kindly went over options We did not go inside so this review is based on our to go order. However while waiting we looked inside & it looked inviting. It was just me & my nephew so our order was simple & small. We ordered the fried chicken combo with fries, roasted corn and slaw Menu states & waiter said please allow 20 mins for the fried chicken & it was 20 min wait We also ordered the kids meal with Ribs the sides were corn bread and mashed potatoes. My little nephew loved his rib meal. The fried chicken meat was good but it was the crunch outside that was a miss for me. The crunch was way overcooked almost had a burnt taste. I'm sure there's some that would enjoy this type but I didn't care for it Perhaps our next visit we will be a sit down meal & I will update my review

Parking was right outside the restaurant. When we entered, we were told to choose whichever table we wanted. We selected one that wasn't directly under a blowing air conditioner vent. After looking over the menu, we ordered. My husband chose a bowl of the Brunswick stew, and I had their funny bones. The Brunswick stew was served in a very large bowl. He added a piece of cornbread on the side. The stew had corn, tomatoes, and pulled pork in it. He said it was okay, but he's had much better. I ordered their regular size portion of funny bones. It came with corn bread and a choice of one side. I chose baked beans as my side. I've had the funny bones before and have liked them. They are the irregular pieces left over from the ends of a rack of ribs. Usually, they are tender and excellent tasting although in odd shapes. These were so tough you couldn't pull them apart. They tasted like they were old and had been laying around the kitchen. The beans were okay. They don't carry a "sweet" version of a barbecue sauce, so I added a packet of sugar to them, and they were a bit better. The corn bread here was soft and fluffy -- more like a square of cake than bread. It was just okay. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

We LOVE PapiChulo!…read more We were first introduced to them last year during a team spirit night for our local travel softball team. A mutual friend connected us with the manager, Stefani, and from the very beginning she was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. She made the whole process seamless and got us on the schedule--and after such an amazing experience, we knew we had to come back again this year, for another event! Last year also introduced a lot of our families to this location, as we all have been frequent flyers! Tonight was just as fantastic. We arrived around 6:00 PM, and by 6:30 all 12 of our families (about 50 people!) were settled on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly, and truly on top of everything. As someone who's worked in the industry, I know how challenging it can be to manage a group that size--especially with lots of kids--and she handled it like a pro! The food did not disappoint! We started with queso and chips (a must!), and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the tuna tostada and a birria taco, my girls enjoyed a quesadilla and chicken fingers from the kids menu, and my husband had the taco salad. The portions were generous, and every bite was so good. And you definitely need to check out happy hour! If you get there before 6 PM, they offer great food and drink specials. The Mango Tango (I ordered mine without jalapeños) was amazing, my husband loved the Watermelon Smash, and another parent couldn't stop raving about the Pineapple Mojito. If you're part of a local sports team looking for a fun way to host a team dinner and raise funds, this is a perfect spot. And if you're in the Royal Palm/Wellington area--trust me, you NEED some PapiChulo in your life. You won't be disappointed! Huge thank you to Stefani and the entire staff for always taking such great care of our crew--we appreciate you so much!
