Look at my baked Potato. And it still complimented my meal just a lite sprinkle of sugar. Mmmmmm good.

A Beautiful beginning at Texas Roadhouse This past Sunday was one of those heartwarming days that linger in your memory. My family and I started off the morning by attending a special service at our family's well-known church. It was a day of celebration, as we witnessed the baptism of a loved one--a sacred moment that brought us all closer together. After the service, we were filled with joy and decided to extend our celebration over a meal. With no hesitation, we all agreed on Texas Roadhouse in Shively. We knew it was the perfect spot to keep the good vibes rolling! As we arrived, the place was buzzing with life. It's no surprise that Texas Roadhouse is always lively--it's known for its upbeat atmosphere. Our group of eight wasted no time; we checked out the menu, ran a few bathroom breaks (you know how it goes with families), and got our name on the list for seating. We're multi-taskers by nature, so everything fell into place naturally. After a brief wait, we were called to our table, and that's when the real excitement began. Once seated, it didn't take long for everyone to figure out what they wanted. For me, it was an easy choice--the Sirloin & Ribs combo. Let me tell you, that sirloin steak was perfectly lean, just the way I like it, with a slight juiciness that gave each bite a melt-in-your-mouth sensation. The ribs? Oh, they were fall-off-the-bone tender, kissed with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. On the side, I opted for green beans and a sweet potato topped with a dollop of cinnamon butter--just enough to add a hint of sweetness without overpowering the natural flavors of the potato. As my plate arrived, everything was piping hot, but not too hot to enjoy. It was that perfect warmth that makes every bite comforting. And to top it all off, I had a refreshing glass of sweet tea--cool, crisp, and the ideal balance to my hearty meal. I glanced around the table, and the sight of my family digging into their plates with smiles on their faces made my heart full. Everyone was savoring their meal, and in that moment, I knew this was the perfect way to wrap up our special day. The food at Texas Roadhouse was not only delicious, but the portions were generous too. I ended up having enough leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day, and even had a roll saved for my Monday dinner--yes, their famous warm rolls with cinnamon butter are irresistible! Speaking of those rolls, did you know Texas Roadhouse bakes them fresh every five minutes to ensure they're always served hot and fluffy? It's that attention to detail that sets them apart and keeps people coming back. As we wrapped up our meal, I couldn't help but reflect on how perfect the day had been. From the baptism to the meal, everything just felt right. My sirloin, ribs, and sweet potato will forever be etched in my memory as the cherry on top of a beautiful day spent with family. I can't think of a better way to celebrate life's special moments than with those you love most--and Texas Roadhouse provided the ideal backdrop for that. If you've never been to Texas Roadhouse, I highly recommend it. The food melts in your mouth, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's the kind of place that feels like home. Whether you're celebrating something big or just enjoying a casual meal, it's the perfect spot to create memories. I know I'll be back soon, and I can only hope your next visit is as fulfilling as mine!

My husband and I split a philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries. The sandwich was huge and a good size portion of fries. It was good, served with provolone, peppers, onions and mushrooms. Since it was Detby week several large parties came in after the races so service was a bit slow but all in all our server did a great job taking care of the crowd. We all brought chairs to sit on the patio to listen to the great 70s and 80s cover band Most Wanted. It was a beautiful night, with good food, great company and fabulous music. There is a parking lot but if it's full, there is a bank across the street and a car wash next store where you can park.

Drink orders. Appears one waitress for both parties. Over one hour later, one of us gets her side salad. Why sooo long for that. No staff interaction. . No checking on us or letting us know status. Other group has their Togo boxes and we're still waiting on any movement of food to our table. It's a shame better mgmt and planning didnt go into our visit to your restaurant. The food was good and hot. Burgers ok, fish big, loved the broccoli salad, nice entree salad, delish chicken salad. Not a fan of the pasty, overly cheesy grits. Birthday cookie given, looked delish, hard as a rock....overwarmed I guess!! And of course, 20% added for our group. We always overtip for good service. And we did this time also. She did the best she knew how. By herself. Although interaction and communication would have helped. Some of us drove 30, 40 miles to eat here. We go out every month. This was an unusual disappointment.

We were very excited to come have breakfast here! This place has a lot of meaning to my husband,…read morewhose grandparents would come here on dates. We were honored to uphold that tradition. This place is popular, so we were grateful to be able to get bar seating. Corned beef hash was sounding good to me that day, and they had a Cajun omelette special that my husband chose. We also got a cornbread buttermilk pancake to share. Unfortunately something came up and we couldn't eat our meal at the restaurant so we got it to go. I really liked the food, it was your typical comforting diner style meal. I thought it could've used a little more salt, but that wasn't a concern; I would rather it be under salted for those who prefer it that way. The locale is super cute and cozy, I loved the homey feel of it. The staff was amazing, really going above and beyond for us, helping us settle when we had to take off. I really am so excited to come back here with my husband and our baby to keep the family tradition going. Check this place out!

Extra Aioli on the side. Ordered potato salad as a side. The voice on the phone repeated my order back to me so I knew that it was placed correctly. I'm not sure what happened. I arrived, the place has had a fresh make-over from the old Cottage Inn. Lovely pale yellow walls, stained glass fans/lighting. Made for a beautiful place for a bite to eat. Got to work with my order. Sandwich had onions & tomatoes, no extra aioli on the side. The potato salad was beyond weird. Had a really creamy texture, (with skins on - if you adverse, I am not) but the flavor was OFF. It didn't taste like pickle or mustard but something I could not place. Something vinegary, but not right. Not edible. After I pulled everything that was NOT supposed to be on the sandwich off, (I'm glad I am not allergic to any of those specific ingredients, just really adverse to squishy items on a sandwich). Overall the sandwich was quite pleasant. Not sure why the spread was called aioli, as it was your basic mayo flavor, nothing special, but good on the sandwich. Would I go again - yes, but I would be diligent about checking everything prior to any carry out as someone in the kitchen obviously cannot read or is too lazy to follow customer/wait staff directions.
