Look at my baked Potato. And it still complimented my meal just a lite sprinkle of sugar. Mmmmmm good.

A Beautiful beginning at Texas Roadhouse This past Sunday was one of those heartwarming days that linger in your memory. My family and I started off the morning by attending a special service at our family's well-known church. It was a day of celebration, as we witnessed the baptism of a loved one--a sacred moment that brought us all closer together. After the service, we were filled with joy and decided to extend our celebration over a meal. With no hesitation, we all agreed on Texas Roadhouse in Shively. We knew it was the perfect spot to keep the good vibes rolling! As we arrived, the place was buzzing with life. It's no surprise that Texas Roadhouse is always lively--it's known for its upbeat atmosphere. Our group of eight wasted no time; we checked out the menu, ran a few bathroom breaks (you know how it goes with families), and got our name on the list for seating. We're multi-taskers by nature, so everything fell into place naturally. After a brief wait, we were called to our table, and that's when the real excitement began. Once seated, it didn't take long for everyone to figure out what they wanted. For me, it was an easy choice--the Sirloin & Ribs combo. Let me tell you, that sirloin steak was perfectly lean, just the way I like it, with a slight juiciness that gave each bite a melt-in-your-mouth sensation. The ribs? Oh, they were fall-off-the-bone tender, kissed with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. On the side, I opted for green beans and a sweet potato topped with a dollop of cinnamon butter--just enough to add a hint of sweetness without overpowering the natural flavors of the potato. As my plate arrived, everything was piping hot, but not too hot to enjoy. It was that perfect warmth that makes every bite comforting. And to top it all off, I had a refreshing glass of sweet tea--cool, crisp, and the ideal balance to my hearty meal. I glanced around the table, and the sight of my family digging into their plates with smiles on their faces made my heart full. Everyone was savoring their meal, and in that moment, I knew this was the perfect way to wrap up our special day. The food at Texas Roadhouse was not only delicious, but the portions were generous too. I ended up having enough leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day, and even had a roll saved for my Monday dinner--yes, their famous warm rolls with cinnamon butter are irresistible! Speaking of those rolls, did you know Texas Roadhouse bakes them fresh every five minutes to ensure they're always served hot and fluffy? It's that attention to detail that sets them apart and keeps people coming back. As we wrapped up our meal, I couldn't help but reflect on how perfect the day had been. From the baptism to the meal, everything just felt right. My sirloin, ribs, and sweet potato will forever be etched in my memory as the cherry on top of a beautiful day spent with family. I can't think of a better way to celebrate life's special moments than with those you love most--and Texas Roadhouse provided the ideal backdrop for that. If you've never been to Texas Roadhouse, I highly recommend it. The food melts in your mouth, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's the kind of place that feels like home. Whether you're celebrating something big or just enjoying a casual meal, it's the perfect spot to create memories. I know I'll be back soon, and I can only hope your next visit is as fulfilling as mine!

Service was excellent Ke Ke is the best. Food was cooked to perfection, had a great time with friends and family.

Ordered pickup June 7 at 430pm....steaks cooked right, salad right, bread (atleast we got some and extra) potato....you tell me would you eat this? It tasted burnt...horrible.. hubby's was the same... Yes I would rather eat in, but dementia changes that sometimes. Imagine getting home wanting a big potato they are famous for...and get this. What a disappointment! 1/3on our meal was horrible and had to b e thrown away...called...answer isn't my problem...really!

This a half a rack of ribs in the trash, two bites and it was terrible i can't believe texas roadhouse has gone down.

The food was good and hot. Burgers ok, fish big, loved the broccoli salad, nice entree salad, delish chicken salad. Not a fan of the pasty, overly cheesy grits. Birthday cookie given, looked delish, hard as a rock....overwarmed I guess!! And of course, 20% added for our group. We always overtip for good service. And we did this time also. She did the best she knew how. By herself. Although interaction and communication would have helped. Some of us drove 30, 40 miles to eat here. We go out every month. This was an unusual disappointment.

I learned that this place is pretty close to where I sometimes work, and that is a dangerous piece of information for me. I got their #2 burger week special, adding fries to it (best decision). The fries awesome and crispy too. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but I mean this in the best way. The inside and outside and very unpretentious and unassuming, and you can tell the focus is really on the food rather than on gimmicks. The staff is awesome too. Everyone was super energetic, helpful, and taking pride in what they do. Wonderful experience here. It may be a little out of the way for some folks but it's worth the detour!

You order at the window, take a buzzer, get your drinks and find somewhere to sit. We (a party of 4) showed up around 11 on a Sunday morning and the line was already out the door. We had a hard time deciding what to order because everything we saw coming out before us looked just as delicious as the last. After the owner greeted us and gave a run down while in line, we settled on the shrimp and grits, steak and eggs, bread pudding french toast with a side of bacon, and a chicken and bacon croissant sandwich. (I wanted to order the biscuits and gravy weekend feature but they were already sold out.) The girl at the register was polite but very soft spoken so we had trouble hearing what she said. The coffee was the perfect temperature for drinking immediately without scalding yourself, and the different flavorings and types of milk/cream to choose from was a major plus! There were no complaints about any of our food except the steak was a bit under seasoned. I had the french toast, and, in my opinion, is enough for 2 people. There was a bit too much whipped buttercream for me but I was able to rake off majority, and the fruit that came on top was so fresh! The bacon was thick sliced and 3 of my 4 pieces were cooked perfectly to my liking - not too crispy, not too soft! We all were part of the clean plate club after eating because the food was that good! I wished now we would have taken pics of our food before eating! It's a shame it came up as #16 on my Yelp search because it wasn't even the least bit on my radar for our breakfast spot.
