As a steak lover and first-time visitor, I had high hopes. Wow, what a bummer. The 12-ounce Ribeye that I had was absolutely inedible. It was stringy and sinewy and I would still be there chewing it to this day if it were seasoned properly. I couldn't even cut it with their big knife. It's a ribeye after all, I shouldn't even have to use a knife, right? It was obviously a very bad cut and the manager dutifully removed it from the bill. However, the loaded baked potato was so cold that the already cold butter and sour cream just laid there and mocked me. The Ribs were OVER cooked 3 exits back and were just about mush at that point. They were also under seasoned. None of my other guest's proteins were cooked correctly either but, the better sides were the baked sweet potato and the green beans. Unlikely underdogs that they were they were both seasoned and cooked correctly. The high point comes from our wonderful server Brooke whose smile (and the reason for the extra star) helped me forget that I was leaving a steak house still hungry. Don't do curbside. I used their text function saying I was there. Got in 5 min early. After 15 min of waiting I called to see where my order was. They told me it was ready just waiting on someone to deliver it. In 15 min one guy came out one time with food and ignored me when I asked if he can check on my order. Waited another 5 min and no one came out. Called again and talked to nicole the manager and she said she would be right out. I didn't see her for at least another five min. So now we are up to 25 min at 835 at night. Why have a business that you can't do well. I live close to the Texas Roadhouse and they completely lost my business. I don't want a free dinner. I'm really not into big-box restaurants, but my wife likes this place and took me to it for the first time. I have to admit, this instance at this location was good and solid... Full-disclosure, I am a bit of snob when it comes to eating out. I prefer the mom-and-pops, the one-offs, if you will, over the big-box-find-them-at-every-corner-place, and Texas Roadhouse fits that bill in our county. But this instance at this location surprised me. One of the things that turns me off at big-box places is the wait. We had to wait 30-minutes before we sat but we got to get in nonetheless. Already feeling soured over the wait I was set at ease by the waitress who was personable, chatty, and kept a close eye on us throughout our meal. We had their "Texas Blossom", an onion cut open and deep fried as an appetizer, they bring you bread and peanuts (in a bag), and for dinners we had steak - my wife enjoyed their NY Strip, while I had their Ft. Worth steak (I forget the cut.) All of it was cooked as we desired and it was brought out faster than we both expected. About every hour they have "entertainment" in the form of some of the waiters and waitresses line dancing to a song playing over the sound system, which was unique and nice to experience. The ambiance is kinda like a sports bar but with a strong country theme in as a base - definitely nothing I have ever seen or experience anywhere else. So after my wife and I got our butts whooped at Universal's Volcano Bay today we were on our way back to the AirBnB when the hunger pains got us. We didn't know where to stop but found this restaurant on the side of the road and decided to hit it. We are promptly seated and our server took our drink order and dropped off some yummy bread with their cinnamon butter, OMG! My wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with green beans and mashed taters and I selected the Chicken Fried Steak with a side salad and a sweet potato with their cinnamon butter. My salad arrived promptly and it was very tasty. While waiting on our main course, the wait staff got together by the bar and started a line dance. That was pretty neat and we didn't know if it was for a special occasion such as a birthday or something. So our server appears with our meals and they are looking amazing. My wife's food was delicious and hot and so was mine. I tasted my wife's and she mine and we both liked each other's meal. We asked our server about the line dance and she told us they try to do that on the hour just for fun. We both told her they don't do that in Texas at all. All in all we both enjoyed our meals and the ambiance and left satisfied after getting a bag of peanuts to go read more

I have to say that when we went on 11 March 2023, I would have only given 1 star. The server was the worst, and the cook was having a bad day. They ruined my early birthday dinner. My wife and I love this location and the food is good. The problem is we order our steak medium well and we either get rare or medium rare. Last night we ordered medium well and we got rare blood was coming out of it so I put it on a plate gave it to our server and told him we asked for medium well he took it back we sat and we ate our potatoes since we didn't have anything else to eat And when they brought it back, it was still red, but not as bad. On 11/15/23 at 1830 hours, I went out to eat for dinner here with my family and usually it's a good time, good food, decent service but today since it was Wednesday, the restaurant was pretty packed and staff was visibly stressed out. No big deal on that part I can understand and have empathy for that but our waiter today wasn't as helpful as you would expect when you dine in. For starters our waiter waited a long time to get us a bread for the table and despite us asking for it because she never wanted to mention it. She mentioned that it's a good chance that it will be long time until we can get bread because not much was coming out and all waiters are just grabbing it, she proceeded to comment that the only way she can grab us bread was by having to stand by the bread section and just wait, when she said this she paused for a moment and just stared at us almost as if she wanted us to say no it's okay don't do that. She eventually was able to bring out some fresh bread which I thank her for doing. This is where things really took a turn for the worse. I picked up my first piece of bread and started to chew on it. As I'm chewing, I can feel something tickling my tongue and yes it WAS A LONG PIECE OF HAIR THAT WAS BAKED WITHIN THE BREAD. I am very patient person, so I pull out the random piece of unknown hair out of my mouth with calm and put it down on the plate in front of me. As soon as I do this, our waiter arrives back to grab our orders. I gave her my order and I respectfully say " hey just FYI, there was a piece of hair baked in the bread and I had to pull it out of my mouth", I then show her the hair. She completely understands and apologized and expressed her concern of how that was not okay and she would tell the manager. Luckily the female/latina appearing manager was standing right by us. Our waiter proceeded to inform her of the issue. The manager came by and instead of comforting and truly apologizing for that traumatic/disgusting event, she decided to talk it and down and laugh. She said "sorry, I'll make sure they remember to wear their hair nets back there" in a jokingly manner and proceeded to walk away. Not at any point did she decide to check back up on me to ask if everything is okay? ,was my dinner okay? Is there anything I grab or do for you to express our concern. Nothing, instead I observed her just avoiding to make eye contact and smiling all around. Mind you I was sitting at the edge of the table right by the front of the restaurant where everyone needed to walk multiple times, so there were PLENTY of opportunities to at least say one thing. After this incident, we payed our bill and luckily the waiter was kind enough to give our guest a military discount when she asked. I usually enjoy eating here weekly but this experience definitely just hurt mostly because of how poorly the staff handled it and hope the owner can help his staff understand what not to do. I am definitely not the person trying to a con any business but come on the absolutely least they could is take off a percentage from my meal considering that I just had to pick out one of their staff's DNA out of my mouth and take it as joking manner. read more

Food quality at TRH is very solid, specifically for the ribeye and filet. I have never had a steak I did not like here whether it was dine in or take out. Each time the temperature requested has been on par. The house salad is a nice portion with quality lettuces and ingredients. Beer is cold and the mixed drinks are a reasonable price for what you get. Quality of the garnishes and misers are not going to be the same as a higher end bar. BAIT AND SWITCH! Bad experience this evening. Went there during their happy hour as advertised online for dinner and drinks. When we placed our order, our server assured it was happy hour prices. We were well within the time frame. All rosy until the bill came. $9.50 for a skimpy pour of house wine and $8.50 for a draft beer. When we asked about the charge the server said oh sorry I misinformed you. She left with the check (we thought she was going to correct the bill) and came back and said sorry, it doesn't apply to beer and wine. What?
