Service was great. The server was kind, patient and friendly. Kept checking on us. Place was clean. The food was great except my steak was medium rare compared to well done. I quit asking for any restaurants to fix it because they slap what I have back on it and burn it every time. So I just eat it. I'm a cook, know what I'm doing and you don't do that with meat that is already cooked some. Either the cooks are too lazy to cook the meat thoroughly or they don't know what they're doing. This restaurant started out strong when they opened but seems to have gone steadily downhill since. On our most recent visit the food was cold and so salty that it was almost inedible. Additionally, where the service and attentiveness used to be a strength, we were largely ignored on this visit. We were there later in the evening, and it seemed that the servers just didn't want to be bothered. When I came in I pulled the hostess aside and let her know it was my wife's birthday figuring that they would do something to recognize her. Normally, they bring out a small dessert and say happy birthday. Before we even finished supper they brought the bill and we never saw our waitress again so we just paid our bill and left. I got a Bacon cheeseburger and it tasted like a salt patty! Not to mention the buns were hard as a rock. The waitress barely checked in and we had to flag another waitress down quite a few times, I also told her that I had a shellfish allergy and when they brought the food out they put my cousin food infront of me which contained shrimp. We had a party of 10 with 2 children as well. they stuck us in a booth in the corner where we were very cramped. Our server Lexi was good. One dinner order came out, but nothing else. we asked and Lexi went to check. She brought out the orders that were done. My husband and niece didn't get a plate. We let Lexi know and she went to check. By the time the dishes were delivered everyone was done and were getting ready to leave. His food was perfect. I ordered a medium rare filet. This Texas Roadhouse does a wonderful job. The food is very good but the service is outstanding. If you go ask for Lizzie or Jillian. They take service to the next level. I actually saw something if don't believe I have ever seen in any restaurant before. A guest at a nearby table had an issue with her arm and when Jillian brought her steak she cut the steak first to ensure it was done to the guests liking and then proceeded to cut the steak into bite sized pieces so the guest could enjoy her meal without struggling to cut her steak. My daughter and I went to your restaurant, it was actually our 4th time going there. The server that was taking care of us asked what we wanted to drink my daughter asked for a $5 Mango Margarita the server asked for ID, when my daughter gave her ID she asked her for "a real ID" even though it was but because it still had "under 21" she told daughter that she couldn't give her the drink she wanted which was understandable. BUT there was another time that we went to the same restaurant my daughter showed her ID and was given the drink that she wanted. She also kept going to our table which is normal but she continues to go to our table not even half way through our meal she asked if we wanted a to go box the next time she came she gave us the check we felt very uncomfortable like we was being rushed to leave and I don't think it was right. read more

First encounter at a Texas Roadhouse, very impressed, attention, speed, explanation of how it goes, offered bread while choosing my own personal steak, given a ticket for that exact ribeye, brought to my seat with my bread and ticket, one of must have been 30 servers came quickly, ordered my drink, has the best butter ever on their bread, fabulous, placed my order how I wanted my ribeye cooked, ordered my 2 sides. My baked potato was perfect, my green beans were the best I've had, my ribeye was perfect and came with the best portabella mushrooms ever. I AM a fan, and will be returning. The service was second to none I'd like to add, and the prices were exactly what I'd expected. Too full for desserts if they had them. The servers were entertaining several times. Avoid at all costs! My daughter is a student at Oswego University and went the first week they opened with a few other friends. My daughter was the only one who ordered the BBQ ribs and a few hours later got food poisoning. She felt like she was dying. She had to go to the Urgent Care and then to the ER. I was in touch with the Oswego Health Dept. to alert them on this serious matter. We had a stool sample taken and it was the Norovirus food poisoning. We have since received bills from the hospital. Will be pursuing this matter with a lawyer. This is unacceptable. read more

Outstanding service and excellent food with that Texas Roadhouse flavor that they are known for providing with uncanny consistency. We enjoyed a cactus blossom appetizer and a burger, steaks, and shrimp, with steak fries and loaded baked potatoes. Despite our best efforts we still brought plenty home to enjoy later. While there we got to see the staff have some fun with the Footloose song, and we hope to catch Cotton Eye Joe when we return. read more

ABOUT TIME. Oswego desperately needed a business as well run, organized, and filled with lovely staff as Texas Roadhouse! This was my first time and I am definitely coming back. Our server was awesome and gave us a sampler of apps ! I wish I got his name but he was so kind and helpful. The food was prepared very quickly the whole building was clean and well kept. And all the staff we encountered were so so sweet. The food was really amazing too I would recommend doing a combo deal which comes with 2 sides! So many left overs and the price is hard to beat. I was already on my way there. pulled in at 5:40, texted them the number of the a lot I was in and within two minutes, she brought our food out. prime rib was amazing! ribs and steak was perfect. deserts were perfect!!! read more
