Texas Roadhouse is my favorite place to get a great steak every time. We just took our Mom's there for their Mother's Day dinner. My home TR is Ashland, Ky with Marysville, Oh and Polaris, Oh, closely behind. This time it worked out better to try the Mansfield location and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely packed when we got there at 11:45am. They told us it could be a 20+ minute wait but actually seated us and the entire waiting area within 5-7 minutes. We could hear the great country music and enjoy the birthday singing but still hear each other talking because the noise level was kept in check. We ordered an appetizer and it arrived within a few minutes of our drinks. The rest of the meal came out just as we finished each serving. All of our steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. The waitress had a table of 12 and a table of 8 in our area by herself, yet she made our table of 5 seem like the only table she had. She did that with the other tables too. I would definitely make a point to stop in Texas Roadhouse if you are in the mood for a delicious steak. Food was not what I expected. I had a big takeout order for my family. They did not give me any rolls. The salad had practically nothing but lettuce. My steak was ordered to be med rare, but I got a med well done one. I will not go there any longer. read more

Took mom and my wife for an early dinner on Monday. It's been a couple of years since our last visit. We were seated very quickly, in the corner. After just being seated our waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. I said we needed to look at the menu but water was a good start. We ordered adult beverages. Mom a margarita, my wife a Rocking Chair, and I their Old Fashioned. Our beverages came out quickly. Mom's Margarita was good. My Old Fashioned was sickly sweet and my wife's Rocking Chair was definitely missing something. I asked for an up Manhattan and we all ordered. Mom a Country Fried Steak, my wife their version of chicken tenders, and I a Grilled Chicken Salad. My up Manhattan came out in a rocks glass missing sweet vermouth. Was there bitters? I sent it back and asked hope a Sam Adam's. The SA was perfect! Our meals came out perfectly from the kitchen and were totally delicious! I can honestly recommend the Grilled Chicken Salad! With the mediocre drinks, it will probably be another 2 years before we stop in. read more

This place is a joke and so much crap yih never will see unless it slips out like this pic . I had it happen and was a roach . Had to walk out and ended up over thinking it and threw up . Could you imagine what you don't see that goes on in the kitchen . I have seen these kitchens and omg it's just like the movie (WAITING ) with Ryan Reynold after the lady complained about her food and the workers did nasty things to her food . Have never been to a Texas roadhouse that I did not LOVE!!! I think the chain is very consistent with food as well as service. And you can't beat those hot bread rolls with honey butter that they give you while you wait for your food. If you like steak or salmon or just burgers? They are the place to go. First things first TR, please advise your hostess to not scold the customers. We watched her talk down to a customer who checked in via cellphone to be added the waitlist and she talked down to them like they were children. These folks were older than the young, rude Generation Who the Hell Knows hostess. Second, we were seated super fast so that's a plus. The only good thing about this location is the bartender. Lady knows her people. I order a 8 oz filet medium rare.. In 8 tries at this spot, I have NEVER gotten a filet. Today I got an inch thick strip steak well-done instead! I sent it back. Got an 1 1/2 inch thick strip (big piece of fat on the end) cooked correctly at least. But I give up! this place would not know a filet if I showed them a full diagram and picture. When I pay $30 for filet, I want filet! I only stop here on my way home from cleveland. I will drive the extra time and go to the Polaris/columbus location where I always get the correct steak. read more

Typically this is my one of my favorite restaurants in the Mansfield area... Their service and proficiency has significantly diminished since they have been forced to go to curbside carry out. We placed our order online and I even gave a prepaid tip... It said my order would be done at 7:40 PM but we waited in the parking lot for an hour after the supposed due time of our food. I got out of my car to ask about the food and was met with unprofessionalism and rudeness from all of the teenage hosts and servers, Who were all sitting around playing on their phones. The manager (Harry) was also rude & clueless. Our food was overcooked and cold. I definitely will not be giving them my business again during this lockdown since they can't even handle two little orders. read more

We tried again and this time... I believe we are done with this location. Went with family last night 5-6-22, our server was really nice and our order was taken promptly. We did request a couple of extra straws and didn't get them and, our table could have been cleared of the dishes we were finished with. We were with a party of six, but seated at a booth with a small table with two chairs in the aisle. We ordered a total of three hurricanes and a long island ice tea. I always order top shelf. We all agree that our drinks were unacceptable. I am old enough to know what my drink should taste like and it tasted very weak. I mentioned this to our server (not her fault), she said they had someone "who doesn't normally tend bar". Were they a bartender? My wife and I ordered the ribeye steak (mine bone in) I requested medium well and my wife requested well done. In my opinion neither of us got what we ordered. I get it they can be busy but it is unacceptable to continuously provide bad service. When we spend over $100 for a meal and this is the experience we have, I could fire up my grill, make my own drinks and save money. I get it, before it's said (we're post COVID) we're post COVID enough that this should be solved by now. I believe we'll give another location the next time and see what happens. read more

The forgot the salad for the salmon salad, and the salmon was way over cooked and dry. The only reason they don't get a 1 is because they credited me the salad they forgot. My first and last visit. Whatever you do, do not ask questions. Our server was young and seemed unsure about things but was doing the best he could and got everything ordered correctly. The food took a while but was good. The server said take your time when you're finished you can pay here and tapped the little machine on the table. The other person with me said hold on I have this card (discount). The server said he needed to ask about it. He took it and the gift card we were using and left. Came back and said, thank you. You have.49 cents left on the card. Thinking what, when did we pay, and for what we hadn't seen a bill. That didn't seem right as the discount should have covered more and we were never shown a bill. I asked about the charges and amounts and the server said he didn't know and said he needed to ask and this time he returned with Jasmine who showed up very angry. Immediately defensive she said she gave us a good deal. I said well we don't know what you gave because we haven't seen a bill or receipt. For a second maybe third time I explained we hadn't seen a bill that our gift card was taken and the bill was paid without coming to us first. I said we want a receipt. She started to argue and then stormed off, got the receipt came back set it on the table, and walked away. No more questions, no more answers, no thank you. Still thinking the charges were incorrect we left, as what could we do they took the money from the card. We were more than ok with paying and covering all the correct charges it would have been nice if the manager who we didn't even ask for would had not been so upset about questions. What I was able to taste of the three bites of my 16oz Sirloin was amazing, but 3 bites was all I was able to get before our waitress came to the table asking how many boxes me and my wife needed. We waited a half hour to get a seat, ordered right away as we knew what we wanted. Our dinners came to the table by someone other than our waitress and I had to ask her to bring me my salad that I had ordered as one of my sides. I ate my salad while it was still cold and literally was able to take three bites of my steak before our original waitress came back and asked if we needed to go boxes and how many and returned with them and the bill. If she didn't want to serve us then she should have just said so. I could have taken our $70.00 for two people to one of the many other establishments in Mansfield. read more

Service was great... But that's where great ended. Food was sub par. Steaks were cooked as ordered, but quality of the beef left much to be desired. What I found most odd was that the beef tasted bland. Not sure how you can get a bland Ribeye, but I did. On my second visit I tried the "Prime" Rib. This is actually a Standing Rib Roast, as Prime Rib is Prime Grade Rib Roast. There was nothing close to prime here. Plenty of flavor for an inch around the bark, but zero flavor beyond that. Might want to sharpen up your knives as well as they did a better job of tearing the steak and rib roast as opposed to cutting them. Really disappointed. Don't know if I'll risk trying another location. read more

Dinner Rolls were under baked, sent back waited for new ones to be baked the still were extremely underbaked & very doughy. Took an over an hour to get our food. My husband ordered his steak medium well & when he got it, I was very rare looked as if they took it out of the package and just put it on his plate. He had to send it bak after waiting that long to get it. So another 30 minutes before he got it back. Manger came by and laughed & said the ovens weren't working properly. Honestly Texas Roadhouse is one of our favorite restaurants bit this on in Ohio we will never go back to. It was beyond horrible. read more

I usually don't write a review on chain type restaurants because people usually know what to expect when they eat there. I do think that it is worth mentioning that we just moved here to Mansfield one year ago and that we have come to this location probably 6 times. Each time I order the filet med-well and each time it has been perfectly grilled and surprisingly tender. There are other places to go for steak, to be sure. But this well-managed Texas Roadhouse is on the top of our list. Thanks guys! read more
