I don't dine here often but when I do, I feast The service was good, the food came out fast and fresh. And of course I got full eating too many rolls before touching my meal‍ but it's worth it!

We added our names to list so when we got there we had almost no wait even though it was very busy for Father's Day. A member of the management staff came by our table soon after we were seated and introduced himself and asked if he could get us anything, but we were well taken care of by our server (he wasn't big on personality, but he provided good service, especially with it being so busy). The rolls were fresh and hot and came out almost as soon as we were seated. I ordered the steak medallions medium well and sure enough they came out medium (which is actually what I wanted but I anticipated that would happen), but ultimately they were perfectly tender and flavorful. The salad was fresh and I love their green beans, and they weren't overly salty as some tend to be. Overall it was a great meal

Always a great place to dine! Definitely family friendly oriented restaurant with a country theme. It is a chain restaurant but we finally have one on the coast! Very casual friendly restaurant. Not too loud but average sound quality. Not a find dining experience. We luck out. Actually did not have to wait but a few minutes. They sat us down near the bar. We sat in the booth . Not a couch but comfortable seats for your dining experience. Light cushion in the bottom and hard wood back. The menu are located on the table. And come with free peanuts and bucket. They don't let you just throw them on the floor anymore. Hence why they offer you a bucket instead. We stared out with the Combo appetizer. We chose mild boneless wings ( Breaded white meat chicken tossed in Mild or Hot sauce and served with ranch dressing ) Tater skins ( 4 baked potato skins topped with melted cheddar cheese and bacon bits, served with sour cream for dipping), and rattle snake bites ( Diced jalapeños and jack cheese, lightly fried). It's actually not spicy at all. They don't have spicy kick since the seeds are taken out. Brandon our server was amazing! Definitely in good hands with him. He quickly took our order and brought out a fresh batch of rolls. I love the yeast rolls and the cinnamon flavor butter tastes great! Of course got a large ice sweet tea to drink. Brandon recommended that I try your great steak with an ice cold beer. We decided not to this time. We opted for the 14 oz. Prime Rib one was medium rare and the other was medium well. One was with salad and steak fries. We did the other with salad and I thought I try the mac & cheese. Both salad was with thousand island dressing. They brought out our order quickly. But then again we were at the bar near the kitchen. The salad is always good. When the steak came out. Brandon made sure it was cooked to our liking. The steak is amazing as always. I will be honest, I was not too impressed with the mac. It looked great but the taste was yet to be desired. It tastes like a plain noodles with fake cheese poured over it. Was not my cup of tea; but it maybe to your liking? Gary,I don't know if he was the manager that night? He was so friendly and stopped by to make sure our meal was to our liking. Especially if Brandon is performing well. We said our experience here is great! We always have a great time here! They have Wi-Fi. Honestly it is not that strong but free I believe. No military discount per check . However, I do believe they do offer something special on Thursdays? Definitely on Veterans Day. They are well known for being there for our veterans and helping out the community. We always have a wonderful experience every time we go here or other locations they have! Be mindful of what time you go and please be patient with them if crowed. It is definitely worth the wait. Make this part of your food journey if possible.

Haven't been here in quite a while but visited this week since we had a gift card to use. This time around, we ordered burgers and grilled shrimp appetizer. Our last attempt to dine and had steaks, they were overcooked so we haven't been in a while. My favorite thing about going here are the rolls, as far as the food I feel like the food was much better before, however, you get a good value for the bucks here though so still a deal, our burgers were fine and average at most but they were huge.

It's Thursday and don't realize it's Military disc day... sooo busy! Our wait wasn't as long as we thought tho , maybe 20 min. We got sat with those lovely yeast rolls and cinnamon butter. Little snack 2 each yummy. Our waitress Cayliegh apologized that she took so long but we didn't care... we had rolls!! Ordered the 12oz Rib Eye with Bakers loaded plus two salads, reg and Cesar. Omg it was soooo delish. We don't have one where we live in the PNW. Flying out in the morning back home. It has been literally years since we had food in the Roadhouse. It did not disappoint. It was hopping in here and it was already 8pm!! Lots of BDay songs too that the staff was singing.

Rebecca possesses that rare gift of hospitality that cannot be taught -- the ability to make every guest feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and cared for. She moved through the room with poise and confidence, anticipating needs before they were spoken and offering recommendations with such knowledge and enthusiasm that every choice felt perfect. It's been pretty bad the last two years in a row so this year we decided to try the owner's other restaurant! The Rack House looked very nice upon entry (other than some very dusty barrels which happened to be located right next to our table) and they were playing pleasant ambient music at the perfect volume. We were promptly seated and it didn't take long for our server to get drinks started for us! Most of us ordered waters, but my Mom ordered an extra dirty martini that unfortunately came out as being way more alcohol-heavy than she normally likes, but she didn't bring it up to our waiter. We got the sticky ribs as an appetizer, which the whole table agreed were VERY good. Our waiter was very polite and attentive and brought some free rolls and a variety of butters for us to try as well! My mom ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta while my dad ordered a steak. The pasta was good, but wasn't anything super special for the $23 price tag on it, and sadly my dad's steak came out very gristly and overdone. We told our waiter about the issue and he was quick to take it back to the kitchen to have a new steak made. While we were waiting, multiple managers (or at least what I can only assume were managers) apologized to us about the issue and assured us the new steak would be out soon. Our waiter--accompanied by one of the managers--brought the new steak out, and they waited to make sure it was cooked correctly this time as my dad cut into it. The second steak was an improvement, but it still wasn't very good. My dad didn't want to make a fuss about it and said it was alright. When our check came we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had comped the steak for us. Overall, it was a fairly good experience. The food wasn't terrible, and when there was a mistake the staff was more than happy to correct it. It seems like the people who run the place really do prioritize the guest experience and want people to be happy with the food they're paying for! I'm hoping it's just an unfortunate coincidence that their food just didn't measure up to the price tag this time, but it's difficult to say with only having visited once.

You get 2 sides with the entree. I ordered the mac and cheese and french fries. My date got the catfish along with the potato salad and french fries. I was eager to dig in when the food came back. First off the fries were very crisp and fried to perfection. The mac and cheese was delicious. It was some of the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The jerk chicken was absolutely amazing. It came with the jerk sauce on the side. Honestly, I really didn't need it. The chicken had a delicious smoked flavor. It tasted like chicken you'd eat at a summer bbq. I can not say enough about the jerk chicken. I tasted the catfish my date ordered and it was really good too. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have experienced poor service at this location. While sitting at the bar area, several employees passed by me multiple times without acknowledging me or offering assistance. After waiting for quite a while, I finally had to stop one of the staff members myself and ask if I could place an order. After placing my to-go order, no one checked back with me to ask if I needed a drink, water, dessert, or anything else while I waited. Later, my buzzer went off indicating that my order was ready. I waited several minutes before asking an employee about it, and I was told that my food was not actually ready yet. When I explained that my buzzer had already gone off, I was told, "That doesn't mean it's ready," and that they were still waiting on the steak. That response was frustrating and confusing as a customer. If the buzzer is activated before the order is actually prepared simply to maintain service-time standards, that creates a misleading experience for guests who are already waiting. I understand that holidays are busy, and I always try to be patient and understanding. However, feeling ignored and receiving inconsistent communication made for a very disappointing Mother's Day experience. Congoleum Harvey

I know that was a long time ago. I am so glad they had this new restaurant. So much bigger and located where we use to have our boat. So much has changed for the better. It is way bigger place than the old one. They have cleared out a lot of area that surrounds it. If you saw it before you would not believe the difference. This place has plenty of parking. They have no only the front for regular parking. If you require more convenient parking and access. Recommend parking on the eastern side. Plenty of parking and access ramp. They also have an outdoor patio area and seating on the first floor when weather permits and open. Otherwise, they offer stairs to the front of their restaurant on the upper deck. You are welcome to hostess table in the lobby or front depending. They offer a full bar on the left. (Drink responsibly) They offer an outdoor patio and live music from time to time. Definitely recommend seating outside whether it is on the bottom floor or outside patio. When the weather permits. They staff is so friendly and welcoming. At time we went, they asked we are free to sit anywhere you like. We opted for a booth seating. The regular table seats are hard wood seat with no padding. They also offer booth seating on the outer edge. They are padded both back and bottom. Both are very comfortable to sit in. Do not recommend sitting in them for long. In my opinion. As soon as we sat down, I believe her name was Christina. She was amazing. She made sure our brief stay was great! Usually I get a sweet tea. But Christina was so convincing to get something else. Started out with an ice water and pina coloda frozen daiquiri. Got an ice water and sweet tea also. She quickly came back with our drinks and mentioned that he will be back with the daiquiri soon. She asked if we would like to start with an appetizer. She recommended the jalapeños and mentioned that it is not spicy but has a little kick since it is a pepper. She mentioned they remove the seeds that make it spicy. We opted to get it since she made so appealing. She also asked what else we wanted to get. She mentioned that they have a special offer for fresh boiled crawfish. How could we say no to crawfish! We ordered an order of crawfish. Got an order of hamburger steak and side of fries. She asked if crabmeat salad or regular salad? Decided to get a regular salad instead. Had to get an order of oyster sampler. Love the variety of flavors they offer. And of course round out with a fried key lime pie for dessert. Apparently they have gained a wonderful reputation for their key lime pie. Both fresh regular and fried pie. She we had to get one! After a little wait. She started to bring out the good stuff. Slowly started bringing out salad and the appetizer. The smell was so amazing! Shortly afterwards. The main course, came available. They were all hot and fresh! We had to give some time for the crawfish and oysters to cool down. In the end, it was so delicious. Christina was so funny! Hope y'all have room for dessert? She also mentioned that they are well known for their key lime pie. I am so glad we ordered it. To experience the best. Many places use regular crust. In this case, they use a very flavorful gram-cracker crust. They only offer military discount for active duty only. They offer free Wi-Fi but is password protected. This place never disappoints. They also have a huge marina out front so you can arrive here by boat or car. They have plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor, so even when the parking lot looks packed, you should go see if a table is available before turning away. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which came with pickled onions and a bunch of large fresh shrimp on top. It was fantastic and way more fancy than we expected. Their dishes come with a ground krab salad (spelled with a K because it's not actually crab but the other stuff) and they are kind of famous for that. The honey mustard dressing has a kick so be ready. We've also had their stuffed jalapenos but wanted to try something different this time. Their staple dish is the steak and shrimp, which also includes a side and I usually go with the stuffed baked potato. The steak is grilled over pecan wood, and it is easily one of the best steaks on the coast. The normal portion is 10-12 ounces but you can upgrade to a 16 ounce. Our was served hot off the grill and perfectly cooked. They also use large plump shrimp and not those dinky little ones you often find at chain restaurants. I usually end up bringing part of the dish home. Service was fantastic and it's the kind of place where they have extra help to clean tables, refill drinks, and so on. You won't be left there with an empty drink if your server gets tied up with another table. I was really impressed by how attentive they were, even on a busy Saturday night. Definitely check out Captain Al's if you're in the area. They have been in business for decades and know what they're doing.

Cooked a perfect medium rare--exactly the way a steak like that should be served. Great crust, incredible flavor, tender all the way through. One of those steaks where after the first bite you just stop talking for a second. The baked potato was fantastic too, and they did it right--it came with every topping you could think of, all laid out in a clean, polished, professional way instead of just tossing stuff on a plate and hoping for the best. The Caesar salad was excellent, and bonus points because they even offer anchovies if you actually know how a Caesar is supposed to be eaten. The mac & cheese was also outstanding--rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. Their wine and bourbon selection is dangerous in the best possible way.
