Yes and a yes again. Okra was fried on site not sitting under a heating lamp. They have an option where you can order in the parking lot tune to a radio station and hear your name being said on the station to notify you your food is ready. Pork was flavorful and not just drowned in sauce. All the ladies on the staff where nice and welcoming I felt like I walked into my aunt's kitchen. I killed a whole Arnold palmer while waiting TASTY!!!! EAT HERE DO IT DO IT (Starsky Voice)

This place is a hidden gem. First, they have added two beautiful dining rooms for indoor dining. We both had pulled pork which was tender and tasty. The portion size was good for the price, 11.95. it came with two sides, I had baked beans and potato salad while my grand daughter had fries and baked beans. The beans were sweet and very good. The fries were crisp and fresh. The potato salad was unique in that it was more like mashed potatoes and tasted like the filling part of a deviled egg. I enjoyed it but was surprised by the consistency and flavor. Service was extremely friendly and fast. We enjoyed a piece of bread pudding for dessert. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be returning.

Baked beans & Mac n cheese

Yep, this the spot yall. So as we approached it we seen signs advertising the different meals. I was sold on the fried ribs. Well, as we went in, the door bell chimed with a welcome. Then I proceeded to the restroom which was clean and stocked. Then I went to order my food. The menu is 1 sided but has so much stuff lawd! So I ordered fried ribs with baked beans and man n cheese as sides. You get 1 meat and 2 sides. The fried ribs was so darn good whew! The baked beans were good but they could have added bacon (just my opinion). Now the Mac n cheese was missing something. I think seasoning. It was just missing something. The atmosphere was awesome and that Tucka playlist was right on point. The cashier was so sweet, it was female with locs. My partner got dessert and that was good also. I'd definitely return but I'd try something other than the Mac n cheese! And the I forgot the BBQ sauce was so damn good! They need to give 2 cups with it instead of 1 cup. Nashville hot sauce was good also! Let's not forget they are black owned!

Lovely place. Order at the counter, find a comfortable spot and enjoy the grub. I got the brisket meal with 2 sides, fried okra and beans. Nice smoky flavor with a what i assume is a mop sauce. Welcomed experience for a easy Saturday.

Lordttt have mercy‼‼ This place fried rib and brisket plate is amazing. First time eating fried ribs and it was better than delicious. That sauce is so amazing, we were dipping our cake in it.. For the best bbq on the coast visit 12 Bones. You will NOT be disappointed ‼

I didn't care for this restaurant. The people are friendly and the service was pretty good but I was not a fan of the food.

We tried Coterie for the first time this past week and it's now one of my favorite MS Gulf Coast…read morerestaurants. The food was really great and a notch above so many other places around. We were scraping the plates clean because everything was so good. This is located right on the beach across from the harbor in Long Beach, in an elevated building that has been a few other restaurants over the years. About 3/4 of it is inside seating with a smaller porch/balcony outdoor part that is also air conditioned when they close all the doors. For starters, we got a dozen grilled oysters that had this excellent garlic butter sauce and cheese added. They were average size as you can expect but much better than what we've gotten from Half Shell the past few times we went. We also got the fried alligator bites which were more tender than any gator I've ever had before, and came with an excellent dipping sauce. I ordered the seafood platter for my meal and couldn't finish it. On top of a large bed of french fries were a bunch of shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, and one large catfish filet that was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the Taste of Acadiana which came with three different cajun staples including gumbo and jambalaya. I sampled some of hers and really liked them all. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't all that busy, but our service was good and they kept our drinks filled. I can't wait to go back!

They've been in…read morebusiness here on the MS Gulf Coast for many years and have consistently delivered some of the best crawfish you can find. I remember back in the day when prices were pound were less than two bucks but now they are usually $4-5 depending on what part of crawfish season they are in and how big they are. They also offer other stuff like shrimp but I've only ever gotten the crawfish and some sides. They also offer platters that include 3 pounds of crawfish and sides. The spicy crawfish here do have a kick at first, but they aren't unbearable. That first one will get your lips burning so be warned if you're a lightweight. Their regular flavor has a slight kick but is very flavorful. I am not sure what all they use for seasoning but it is a complex blend with an array of different spices that are very good. I recommend you try their sides like potatoes and corn cooked in the same boil with the crawfish so the flavor gets infused into them. Definitely get a side of their butter to pour over the potatoes and you're in for a treat. We ordered 10 pounds worth in late March and the sides were what I'd considered medium with a handful that I'd consider large. This meant you will put some extra work in eating them but they were still good. On average, you can expect 3-4 ounces of meat per pound so take that into consideration when purchasing. While they do have a few outside tables, this isn't exactly a restaurant and there are no indoor tables. Most people get their orders to go here, and they do often sell out so don't go too late in the day or you may not get any on busy days.

Claw daddy's sits just off 49 and the have large sized picnic tables so you can sit and enjoy your crawfish or you can easily take them to go. We opted for five pounds of crawfish with potatoes, eggs, and mushrooms for sides. They gave us the hot seasoning and everything was so tasty. They also have alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages for sale as well as seasonings and t-shirts. We also loved the artwork they have on their walls. I am looking forward to my in-laws next visit because I know we will be bringing them here!

It was the perfect portion for lunch and affordable to take a family. Definitely recommend if you are in a budget and want to go to lunch instead of spending a lot for dinner. We went upstairs to grab drinks and hang out while waiting and it was taking a while so I went down to check if they had called my name since I didn't get a text. The hostess said they accidentally marked my name off for a group named "Lisa" and apologized then told me it'd be 10-15 mins. We went back upstairs and they came and grabbed us for our table. We ordered our food and it took probably over an hour for it to arrive. My friend ordered the seafood platter fried hard and she said it was no where near that and her corn on the cob was cold in the middle. They took it back and remade it. My entire group was pretty over waiting and we were considering taking our food to go after waiting about 45 minutes. We arrived at 6:30pm to the restaurant and didnt end up leaving until around 9:15pm. The most we got was a "thank you for your patience" and the bill of course had the automatic 18% gratuity for a large party. The food itself was tasty and I would have given 5 stars here if the service wasn't so abysmal or if they at least were apologetic about it. Anyways, I got the boudreaux bread and firecracker shrimp and both were delicious. My friends that got the seafood platters said they were alright. Some parts were great and others were decent. It's a shame that we had this experience here because this is a place I would have liked to come back to, but I will no longer have this place on my list to consider in the future.
