Came in as a large family group after a cheer competition. I ordered a steak and never received my side even though I mentioned it multiple times but was still expected to pay for a full meal and argued with over it. One family member ordered an appetizer to feed her child and didn't receive it until after we were done eating because they didn't put the order in. I have never had such an awful experience at a restaurant before. The "shift" manager got in my face and was making fun of me asking for potato skins with cheese on them. Then he proceeded to tell the owner that I threw my food at his face, which is absolutely diabolical. He took away all of my food and left me with nothing. Wanted a Ye-Haw for my birthday but that didn't happen even though told the waitress. Very disappointed. There was also no line dance. Hope this place isn't already slipping. Preordered one of the onion appetizers online and showed up a little before it was supposed to be ready. It wasn't ready, no big deal. Ten minutes pass, it still isn't ready. Kitchens get behind, it's alright. 30 minutes past, "oh it must still be in the kitchen, should have been here by now". Well 45 minutes after the fact when we get what we PREORDERED, the onion is cold and soggy and without sauce. They get the sauce and defeated we take it and go home. Our air fryer to the rescue. What should have been an easy interaction over a simple appetizer took close to an hour by the end of it all. My husband and I come to NW Oklahoma for family and to deer hunt. Finding good food can be very challenging in this area. I'll admit that I have nit been to a TX Roadhouse for about 10 years, for no other reason than it isn't that convenient to get to where we live. I saw this one just opened and it was great. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was on point. My husband ordered a ribeye that was seasoned and cooked perfectly, I just didn't get a pic. And this is from somebody who has worked from Montreal, Canada to Seattle, Washington. From LA to Charleston, from New Orleans to Waco to Phoenix. The service is absolutely the worst I've ever seen. 45 minutes after my carside order was supposed to be ready I went up to the "to-go" window to check on it. It was ready all along. First off, I wanted to love this place. Sadly, no. I went online and put my family of 4 on the wait list. Checked in soon as we walked in. Got told by a very not-friendly hostess ( tanishka) that it'd be 45 min. Wow.. ok... we chose to wait. My daughter wears AFO leg braces so standing for a long period of time is difficult. We sat on a bench by the door since the other room was packed to the brim.. The hostess tanishka hurriedly came up to us, demanded we move cause that is saved for " on deck". I didn't understand what she meant and asked what on deck means and was told we just need to go stand somewhere. So...we stood at the doors ...again. It was close to 40 min wait time which was expected. When I made the wait list request, I did warn them I'd need a wheelchair-accessible table. Soon as the hostess called my name and my son rolled up in his wheelchair, the hostess had a look of terror .. she then called someone over the headphones she was wearing. Conversed with other 2 hostesses and a manager. After a few min we finally got led all the way to the back.. where our waitress discovered the table we were going to sit was occupied and not accessible. Then after she talked to a few others, she found a booth...a dirty booth. We had to wait while it was cleaned. Finally got seated. We ordered drinks and she got half the drinks wrong. The restaurant is already crowded. So many people. Everyone talking so the room is extremely loud ....then the restaurant has this country Christmas music blasting. Can't hear the people talk at my own table. After an hour, our food came. The husbands burger was dry. Bun too hard. Fries were salty. Nothing edible.. Daughters meat was burnt as were her sauteed mushrooms. My chicken fry was salty and nasty. Tasted of a smoky flavor such as smoked paprika. The company I work for has properties here in Enid so I am in town 6-8times a year. I eat at Texas Roadhouse from time to time and I know this one in Enid is new. There were 3 of us, the waitress was very attentive but the cook needs more experience cooking...I ordered medium well, it was sent out rare with blood running out when I cut into it, I made the mistake of sending it back and 20 minutes later when it showed up it was a few seconds from being jerky, I will be going back to the other place in town when visiting Enid.. read more
