I ordered a cheeseburger and steak fries. The burger was good, the service was good, but the steak fries looked and tasted like they were cooked in old grease. I didn't eat them. They were passed around but not finished off.

Slow service - steak wasn't fixed properly and had to send back. Baked potatoe cold and steak lacked flavor. Not a good experience.

The steaks are classic and relatively inexpensive given the state of the economy.

I ordered one dressed with lettuce & tomato with a side of fries & Cole slaw. Word of warning. Don't. Do not order this. The loin was pounded thin and beautifully fried. HOWEVER....ZERO taste. Zero seasoning. Zero. Not even salt. The breading was moist underneath and a little "doughy"- and sat like an old wet sock in my stomach. There was absolutely nothing to save this poor BAT other than copious amounts of ketchup for flavor. How in the hell are you gonna go to the effort of pounding out a beautiful tenderloin paper thin in spots and NOT even attempt to season your breading? No salt. No pepper. No Cavenders. No Adobe. No Lawreys. How does this happen? The world may never know. The lettuce topper was 1/2 Romaine leaf and 1/2 iceberg & wilted. The tomato slices (2) should have been thrown out yesterday. Pinkish & slimy - side of botulism please. The menu lists the "tiny little bun" as being "grilled". That bun never came close to the damned grill. It was a plain white hamburger bun as fresh as can be. A second plate should be brought so customers don't have to cut/rip the tenderloin on a napkin on the table. How can a waitress knowingly ask how "things are tasting" and not see you hacking this shoe leather bland swine piled on a napkin? Never mind. I was already turned off from the first taste while cutting it up & knew 80% of it was staying there for the trash can. No way any of that was coming home. My husband ordered a Ruben with fries & Cole slaw. First thing out of his mouth was "fries are horrible". Yikes! How can you f$&k up fries? Cheap fries in old oil without salt & they sat NOT under lamps....they were cold - only explanation. His Ruben came without any thousand island dressing & he was already pissed abt the fries. Smallest Rueben I've ever seen for $10.95 - fries and Cole slaw were extra. So for $10,95 that meat better be piled on the marbled rye! The CocaCola mix was perfect as was their unsweetened tea. We sat quietly waiting for our bill & upon arriving it was someone else's & needed to be re-rung. 15min later we're still waiting for it. We were one of 3, 4 tops so the place wasn't packed at all. Note to self - go to Mad Anthony's for tenderloin and Rueben and you won't be served disappointment with a side of sadness. I wanted to really like this place. It failed miserably.

We are visiting family and they decided to take us here after picking up my brother's car nearby…read more There were 4 adults and a 3 year old in our party. We were sat right away. Greeted and drink orders were taken. At the same time we order a 2 item bites combo with the loaded tots and fried pickles. When our drinks arrived we ordered our entrees. Two of us ordered greens salads (which we bacame more and more thankful for since time just kept ticking away with no other food present). In fact we did not receive our starter until over 45 minutes after we ordered. We ended up asking our server when the food would be coming out. She only then told us that the kitchen was backed up. When it did come out they were both sitting in oil. They were piping hot which was a plus. But after waiting so long we devoured them. Another 10-15 minutes went by and 3 of the 4 adult meals along with the child's meal came out. We then had to ask about the 4th meal (which happened to be the same entree as one that had been received). Yet another wait...she ended up eating the child's meal since he was in full melt down over not eating and hers took an extra...additional 10 minutes. When it did come out. It was missing a side. Which we were then informed (an hour and 10 +minutes since ordering) they had run out of dumplings and she was asked to pick a different side. By this point all the food had come out. But it was all overly saturated with oil and no one got a chance to really eat so 90+% of it we had to box up and take with us as we were beyond melting point. We do not have Cracker Barrel by us but even if we did I would most likely not return after this experience. At any point before ordering someone could have let us know food was running an hour or so wait. When we said something to the cashier she said she had no idea things were so backed up. There definitely is a lack of communication. Had we known there was such a great wait we would have gone someplace else since a 3 year old doesn't understand such a wait for dinner. And now after the longest dinner ever. We have a 45 minute drive back home. Gonna be a late night.

Offered another of the two I ordered as a substitution.( Meatloaf is the star of the show for me ) I politely said no thanks . The problem I had is when did they know they didn't have meatloaf . I would have ordered something different but didn't want to send the whole thing back when it was already here . Food ( that I got ) was a $$(turnip green were good) Service $$$ Price $$ Overall $ ( if this was chopped , they would have lost for missing an item lol) Every time I try to give the old CB another chance , I never fails to disappoint . I think the IDEA of Cracker Barrel ( old time comfort food ) is MUCH better than the reality The place was clean well lit and friendly ..

The sauce rules. The garlic butter (painted on the BEST breadsticks and frequently the crust of the pizza). It was her friends very first visit. Her words were, "wow this is the nicest restaurant I've ever been to." It was our 2nd visit, actually was better than the first visit. We ended up ordering the girls a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza plus an order of bread sticks. The girls ate a couple bread sticks and 4 slices of pizza each. They loved the pizza. The bread sticks were loaded in butter and garlic sauce. My husband and I ordered an XL pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was so delicious. Yes, we have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch or dinner. Cold pizza is the best ever. The restaurant was nice and clean. Bathrooms were also clean, that's a plus in my book. Nasty bathrooms make for a bad experience. Our server was great, altho it took her a bit to refill my drink, all is good she got to it. Over all we had a pleasant experience this evening. They played Christmas Music in the background. That was nice for the Holiday. Very enjoyable to listen to. We will definitely be back to Pizza Forum.

Coterie Pizza (hwy 327, Garrett, Indiana) - for delicious stone fired pizza and relaxed/casual…read moredining We made a return trip to Coterie after a 3 year absence. Coterie is easy to find. Head north on 327...about 15 minutes north of Dupont Road. They are located in a strip mall, just as you get into town, on the west side of the road. There is plenty of easy-access parking. The restaurant is smaller as it holds about 50 people. It can be busy. There are ample tables for 4 people and some for parties of 8-10 people. The menu is fairly small with only 8 specialty pizzas. Only two items on the appetizer menu - the beer cheese is a MUST try. The pizzas seem pretty reasonable priced for a 12 inch stone fired pizza - $13.45. Coterie has self serve beverage service. You can choose from one of five local beers - and pay by the ounce. Or you can fill up your cup at the soda/tea center. The team here is very friendly and helpful. They all work hard to make sure you have a good customer experience - which we did! Plenty of kitchen help to keep the food rolling..especially at peak diner time! Here is a run down on the items we ordered: -Caprese salad: smaller dish for $5.99. All cherry tomatoes and basil were very fresh and cool to taste. The mozzarella cheese and toppings blended well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar flavors. Easy to share. -Beer Cheese ($6.99): a layer of pizza dough rolled out thin and baked to a slightly chewy texture. The dough has a slight garlicky flavor and cut into nice sized shareable pieces. The beer cheese is smooth, creamy and dreamy! You get hints of beer amongst the mild cheese flavors. The sauce is a bit thin and simply addicting! -Chicken bruschetta pizza: The golden brown crust is a little tough as it is well baked but still chewable. No special flavors are added to the crust. The bottom was soft and white. The chicken bruschetta is not your typical pizza creation. The tomato sauce was rather thin and only added a mild tomato taste zip. The chicken was tender and picked up the flavors that surrounded it nicely. The cherry tomatoes and basil toppings were very fresh and tasty. They blended really well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzles. The fresh mozzarella cheese was sprinkled in enough to help hold all the toppings in place. If you liked the Coterie Caprese salad...you would really like the chicken bruschetta pizza!
