I started getting weak and had to postpone our return to Cupertino. Being 80, I did not want things to get worse so went to Urgent Care of Texas, Plano. Dr. M. Bhallia took my vitals which were fine. No covid, flu or RSV. He gave me an I-V with antibiotics and some med prescriptions. He also gave me a prescription for a chest x-ray for next AM. The results of the x-ray showed signs of pneumonia in right lung. I had to go back to Urgent Care for another I-V with 2 shots. This was Wed. Nov. 8. I felt a bit stronger and felt capable of managing the flight that evening to Cupertino. I was impressed with the service, respect and care I received from Dr. Bhallia and his staff Syeda and Ayeshe. The clinic is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. I am thankful to have chosen Urgent Care of Texas in Plano. They took excellent care of me so I could return back to Cupertino Thank you, all.

I had a spinal fusion in…read moreDecember 2024 with Dr. Ricky Kalra, and almost immediately during recovery I began experiencing severe nerve pain down my left leg. At my 2-week post-op appointment and every appointment afterward, I repeatedly tried to explain how intense and persistent the pain was and how concerned I felt about it. Unfortunately, I left those visits feeling unheard and dismissed. I understand recovery from spinal surgery can be difficult and unpredictable, but as a patient, I desperately needed reassurance, guidance, and to feel like my concerns truly mattered. Instead, I personally felt like I was repeatedly told to "wait it out," even as the pain continued month after month. During this process, I was referred by Dr. Kalra to multiple different specialists in an attempt to address the ongoing nerve pain. However, after being evaluated, those doctors ultimately referred me back to Dr. Kalra regarding the issues related to my fusion and recovery. This left me feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn for answers or support. More than a year later, I am still dealing with the same nerve pain that began after surgery. This has significantly affected my quality of life. When I contacted the office again hoping to discuss the ongoing issues I've been experiencing since the fusion, I was informed that I was being dismissed as a patient and later received a certified dismissal letter from the practice. That was incredibly upsetting after trusting this practice with my care and trying for so long to advocate for myself. I'm sharing this only as my personal experience. Every patient's situation is different, but for me, the lack of support and communication during such a painful and vulnerable time was deeply disappointing. I hope future patients feel heard, respected, and taken seriously when expressing concerns about their recovery.

He never rushes one out of the consultation room. He listens, asks pertinent questions and addresses concerns promptly and with much kindness. I have found him to be respectful and open minded. His staff is welcoming and as Covid19 took over our country and the world, they implemented safety measures and to date, they remain consistent with their approach. As a patient, I truly appreciate that. Whenever there has been a need for a referral, Dr. Bailey and his staff are prompt to address that and if warranted, they work to get that done as soon as feasible. They have an app system for communication and to have access to our records so as a patient, I have find it invaluable. I do not live near so, it is quite a drive for us but, I really do not mind because I feel I get the best care there. My children who are now adults, have chosen to stay with Dr. Bailey as well. My daughter has even taken her son to see him so, that is 3 generations of our family staying with Dr. Bailey so, I hope that translates into how well we regard him and his staff at Precision Family Medicine. He is definitely worth the title of "Trusted Family Physician". P.S. It is sad that someone who is not even a patient posted a negative review based solely on personal beliefs regarding vaccines. As a parent I have taken good care of informing myself on whatever I have chosen for my children's health. Vaccine studies are still ongoing and some show relation to ASD and some do not. Vaccines are a personal choice and at Dr. Bailey's office so far we have NEVER been intimidated into accepting them, on the contrary, with each vaccine we have been provided all pertinent information regarding the vaccine which included if they have been related to any health concern leaving the patient or patient's parent to make an informed decision. - I am actually not one to get the influenza vaccine every year. Dr. Bailey asks and when I say no, he let's that be the last word. If I am not certain, he is open for me to ask for his opinion and candidly shares it. In the end, he has always respected my choice. -

Um, vaccines DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM, and I would never go to a place that promoted fake science like this. I had a very disappointing experience with the billing and review process at Baylor Scott & White…read morePrimary Care - McKinney. I scheduled what was supposed to be a preventive wellness visit as a self-pay patient. During the appointment, I was not informed that discussing routine or ongoing health topics would convert the visit into a separately billable "dual visit" with additional charges. There was no advance notice, no cost disclosure, and no opportunity to decline those added services. What makes this more frustrating is that the so-called "ongoing condition discussion" they later cited was limited to the doctor briefly asking -- as I was getting up to leave -- whether I needed any prescription refills. That was the extent of it. There was no separate evaluation, no new complaint, and no dedicated problem-focused exam. After receiving the bill, I filed a formal complaint. The organization stated they conducted not one but two "comprehensive reviews," yet at no point did anyone contact me to ask what actually occurred during the visit. Their investigation relied entirely on internal documentation and staff input, without speaking to the patient involved. They acknowledged this but said patient interviews are not standard for billing reviews -- which is concerning when the dispute centers on what was actually communicated to the patient. Both reviews concluded the charges were appropriate and declared the matter closed, without addressing the core issue of disclosure and consent for additional self-pay charges. My takeaway is that this may not be limited to self-pay patients -- it was only caught in my case because, as a self-pay patient, I carefully reviewed the itemized bill. Many patients with insurance may never see or question how a visit was coded or billed. Greater upfront transparency about when a preventive visit becomes separately billable would prevent situations like this. I'm sharing this so other patients can go in better informed than I was.
