Usually you get this feeling of just coming to the doctor but, it felt so inviting and laid back here. I ambiance was being very cordial and seemed really upbeat. Getting off the elevator on the second floor is very nice. The lobby up is is very well decorated with the open foyer. The atmosphere was nice, laid back and very quiet. The doctors office was neatly decorated, clean and had that comfortable feel with great chairs for sitting. The examination rooms were not to small but not super huge. The doctor came in right after the nurse did the vitals and everything. I really appreciated that the wait time was not long at all. I love the fact that they are respectful of your time. Dr.Raja was informative, polite, honest and sit to us straight. We loved the fact that he's a humbled man who is very gracious and kind. He explained all the details about the upcoming surgery; giving us all the pros and cons. We felt at ease and confident about him performing the surgery Kenn needs on next Friday.

I want to highlight my personal experiences with this office and not with Dr. Trumby himself…read more Something that I believe many doctors, including Dr. Trumby overlook: how much their staff impacts the overall patient experience and even their bottom line. When I first called to make an appointment, I was put through a screening process and then sent to "Shannon's" voicemail, which promised a call back within 24 hours to schedule my first appointment. I called three times over two weeks, trying to get an appointment. I was already terrified about what was happening to me. It's demeaning to feel like you have to beg for someone to care. I'm sincerely disappointed because several people referred me to Dr. Trumby and I honestly believed he could help me. Thankfully, I found another hematologist/oncologist whose staff called back within the day, treated me with respect, and made me a priority from day one. They made it clear I deserved the attention and care I needed. Doctors should realize that an unresponsive staff push patients to seek out other places where they feel heard and valued. It is my hope there is someone in management that reads this and is able to fix "the problems" within their house!

I absolutely love my Oncologist and everyone in the Plano West location. I have been going there…read morefor many years for treatments. However, a few months ago they changed the answering of the phones and it has been the worst change they could have ever made. I am on the phone for at least 20 minutes every call on hold while they try to figure out who to leave a message for, so someone can call me back. They have you on speaker phone at times and you can hear them eating, typing, talking to others and much more at the same time. When they call you back and you get disconnected they do not just call you back out of respect. You have to start all over again. This is unacceptable service! I can't even imagine some of our elderly patients dealing with this day after day Just to make appointments and discuss items that used to take minutes at a time.

Now the question is does the food leaving the kitchen taste good when it leaves and goes bad during the 1 to 3 hours it take to be dlivered. So hope you are not hungery or forget to calll when the service is open. So i hope you are not planning on eating hospital food while you are there. Premier Cancer Centers in Dallas, TX is the only office in Texas that has both the CyberKnife and TomoTherapy technology made by Accuray for cancer treatments. Board-certified radiation oncologist Dr. Rajiv "Raj" Dahiya uses external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) to treat many types of cancer, including brain, breast, gynecological, lung, lymphoma, prostate, and skin. The CyberKnife M6 Series is used for stereotactic radiosurgery, while the TomoTherapy H Series is for intensity modulated radiation therapy. Both systems are able to create unique treatment plans for every patient with CT (computed tomography) scans before treatment to pinpoint the cancer cells and ensure the maximum dose of radiation is applied to the cancer while the surrounding healthy tissue receives minimal radiation.
