These people saving lives every day! I had a fantastic experience getting my infusions here for 5 weeks and cannot say enough great things. My nurses were Daniel and Daisy and they were amazing. They are taking care of lots of people in much worse shape than I am with absolute incredible patience and loving bedside manner. I will say, please come with extra patience, and just be realistic about how long things take, because they are juggling a lot of patients at the same time. I always brought along extra patience, empathy, and kindness, and just expected that things would take longer than usual. They have lots of snacks and refreshments, comfortable infusion chairs, pillows, warm blankets to make everyone comfortable. 5 stars for everyone!

Finding the right team became my number one mission. After researching my area, I stumbled upon Texas Oncology! Their Google reviews matched exactly what I was looking for: an empathetic staff, compassionate nurses, and a doctor who's passionate about what they do. No doubt that I planned to write a Yelp review! Booking my appointment was easy, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor than Dr. Reddy. Now, I'm in the waiting game to see what the future holds, and I'll update this review as my journey continues.

While it's not considered malpractice to have a non-specialist as your doctor, it's not a good idea either. When you have cancer, you want a team focused on your illness, rather than one focused more on administrative efficiencies and maximizing their profits. I do not recommend Texas Oncology. I was assigned an oncologist who was not a specialist in my form of cancer. When I switched to another facility within the same group, the same thing happened again. They seem to go out of their way not to tell you these things. Rather, to try to gain your trust more as a car salesman would do. "See our nice office?" "Aren't we friendly?" Do you want top quality care, or the mere appearance of it?

Texas Oncology is about the worst place you could go for cancer treatment. Their only real interest…read moreis their profits. No matter what form of cancer you may have, they will simply assign you to one of their local oncologists who happens to have a little free time. It's hard to believe anyone could be so callous. When I first read comments like this, I could hardly believe what I was seeing. I understand now though. I learned the hard way. Don't you do the same. Had I stayed with them, I would probably be on death's door this very moment. Last year, I was a primary candidate for chemotherapy. But the oncologist they assigned me to had little to no training in prostate cancer. After finally learning the truth, I ran from Texas Oncology. My new team was none too pleased with how I had been treated. They started me on chemotherapy immediately. Time will tell how well I'll do, but starting critical treatment late gave my cancer lots of extra time to grow and spread. As I already mentioned, it doesn't matter what form of cancer you have. Colon cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer - you name it. All Texas Oncology really cares about is being able to bill you and your insurance company to pad their bottom line. You have a terminal disease, so they know their time is limited. "Pump that well until it runs dry." You definitely don't want to be their latest well.

Usually you get this feeling of just coming to the doctor but, it felt so inviting and laid back here. I ambiance was being very cordial and seemed really upbeat. The doctors office was neatly decorated, clean and had that comfortable feel with great chairs for sitting. The examination rooms were not to small but not super huge. The doctor came in right after the nurse did the vitals and everything. I really appreciated that the wait time was not long at all. I love the fact that they are respectful of your time. Dr.Raja was informative, polite, honest and sit to us straight. We loved the fact that he's a humbled man who is very gracious and kind.
