Getting off the elevator on the second floor is very nice. The lobby up is is very well decorated with the open foyer. The atmosphere was nice, laid back and very quiet. The doctors office was neatly decorated, clean and had that comfortable feel with great chairs for sitting. The examination rooms were not to small but not super huge. The doctor came in right after the nurse did the vitals and everything. I really appreciated that the wait time was not long at all. I love the fact that they are respectful of your time. Dr.Raja was informative, polite, honest and sit to us straight. We loved the fact that he's a humbled man who is very gracious and kind. He explained all the details about the upcoming surgery; giving us all the pros and cons. We felt at ease and confident about him performing the surgery Kenn needs on next Friday.

A sizable mass was diagnosed as endometrial carcinoma. During surgery, lymph nodes, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and cervix were all biopsied, and I was relieved to learn that every result came back negative for further cancer involvement. The surgery was done robotically and laparoscopically, which greatly eased recovery. I no longer needed pain medication just two days post-op, and within four weeks my incisions had already faded--leaving very little evidence of surgery at all. I would recommend Dr. Oh to anyone seeking a physician who is not only highly educated, experienced, and skilled, but also straightforward and reassuring. He inspired confidence at every step, and that confidence was completely justified. Thanks to his care, I am now cancer-free with a low risk of recurrence.

His PA, Mary is reliable, knowledgeable, and absolutely wonderful to work with. They are all passionate people who truly love working with Dr. Khan and are inspired by their patients. A routine physical (for my mom) led to a hematologist and those results led to Dr. Khan. The diagnosis was Polycythemia Vera (PV). Polycythemia is a blood cancer that causes your bone marrow to make too many red blood cells. This was a rare disease 20 years ago but Dr. Khan was able to figure it out and start her on oral chemotherapy. Today, PV is well known, with more information and treatments. I've been a part of her journey from the beginning. Twenty years of weekly INR appointments, routine bone marrow biopsies, numerous scans and imaging to name a few. The pandemic has been a tricky situation for us, and her cancer, but appointments with Dr. Khan's office has been safe. They have updated their protocols so that everyone involved can stay safe. At the moment I cannot go in with her, everyone is asked to stay in their car if they are not a patient. I understand. If you are new, they are offering online appointments to get started. Finally an ER doctor at UTHEALTH ATHENS asked if he'd ever been tested for chronic leukemia ~ I said no and we followed up at HOPE Cancer Center and Dr Martin for that test Turned out to be very bad AML leukemia and Dr Martins said we should take him home and make him comfortable and that he would not treat him for that because it would be unethical I feel like I failed to save my husband and I also feel like Dr Martins didn't even try!

I was assigned an oncologist who was not a specialist in my form of cancer. When I switched to another facility within the same group, the same thing happened again. They seem to go out of their way not to tell you these things. Rather, to try to gain your trust more as a car salesman would do. "See our nice office?" "Aren't we friendly?" Do you want top quality care, or the mere appearance of it?
