I went for a pedicure and they gave me the 9 fingered man. I wasn't pleased with my services the last time I went to him so I requested someone else. This lady HACKED my toe nails and basically took my big toe off since I said I had ingrown nails that the guy missed last time. Yes, the services are cheap but you get what you pay for. This is not my favorite nail salon but it is not the worst place. The salon seemed clean enough and the smell didn't smack you in the face as soon as you walk in the door like some salons I've been to. I gave 3 stars for a few reasons: 1. The tech did not file the corners of my toe nails so they are very sharp. I didn't notice it until I got home. 2. He also did a terrible job of cleaning up my skin with polish on it. Again, didn't notice until I got home. I recently had back surgery so it was hard for me to bend over and look closely at the salon. The 3rd and last reason wasn't really the salon's fault but, towards the end of my pedicure, a mom had 4 kids came in. She left them to sit by themselves and they were running around and watching whatever on their phones on full blast. It definitely changed the relaxing vibe. I was in town for the weekend and came across this place. They weren't open at the time posted on the door but they did call me back about 20 minutes later. My friend and I decided to go in anyway. The salon was nice. Good variety of music playing, it looked very clean, and they were nice. They were nice but they didn't have many options and were pretty pushy with the products used. The quality of the finished product was less than admirable. My nails were very thick and wide, they were uneven in length, and the gel polish on my toes chipped within 2 days. My friend's nails chipped and peeled also. Her toe nail polish was bumpy and her fingers were a mess also. read more

My friend and I tried this place out for the first time. We got Hawaiin pedicures and full sets. The pedicure massages were not that great at all, my nail tech had the longest nails ever and couldn't really massage my feet, so uncomfortable feeling her sharp nails through the gloves. The full sets were just okay, no massage or lotion at the end (like I'm use to with most other salons) my friend got dip white tips, she hated that they did not blend the bottom correctly so you can see where she got a fill. This was an experience to write home about. Walking into an elegant room and being greeted immediately by a cheerful hello was definitely a change of pace. The front counter offers a full menu of options and a card with your choices is presented to you. Now if you have been to nail spa you know the options can be a little intimidating at first. You offer details on every type of service offered. I just went for an orange gel pedicure. As I was handing my card to the tech I noticed beverage options at bottom but didn't read them, as I travel with a water bottle. Pleasant chit chat with my tech, Jenny, commenced briefly. Having a hard time with idle chit-chat I can be a bit awkward in public. She picked up on that trate right away and not for one second did it take away from her kindness. I commend her on keeping her very pleasant demeanor while I sat there in silence simply enjoyed my time. As I sunk into state of bliss ladies came in on a regular basis. You know that place is fantastic when it's Monday and it's busy. Even though it became busy the Serene nature of the spa was maintained. I have NEVER had a salon experience like this. So I really did like visiting here! It's brand new and has all the really fancy amenities that one loves while getting your nails done! It's quickly become my go to. Jen does my nails and she is very good age detailed. No cuts, very meticulous! One thing I love is that they respect what mood you're in. I went here to fix a broken nail bc I honestly do not trust any nail salon in mid-cities to do a good job on anything but gel manicure or pedicures. The front desk girl is nice but the lady I got to do my nail was absolutely rude. I sat down and she didn't say anything just laid the nail colors in front of me to choose from. Started filing my nail down and it started burning and when I said that it hurts she just looked at me, paused and filed away again. I have a white color that literally every salon has bc it is used for ombré and she was not helpful at all. I kept choosing a white color that did not match and it wasn't until I said "it's the white used for ombré" then another tech heard it and handed her the actual white color. But she got an attitude each time I picked the wrong white. Terrible experience didn't deserve a dime from me but I didn't want to walk around with a broken nail. I will not be back. read more

I would give 5 star. Yesterday me and my sister went there for pedicure and gel nail. The lady who did my hot stone pedicure did a splendid job. She took more than an hour for the pedicure and i must say it was one of the best i got so far The worst part was the massage. They mentioned in the service list that they have shoulder massage. I took one for 10min. To my surprise, I found they don't have any chair for massage. I was sitting on the pedicure chair and the lady came for the massage. They maintain the time very nicely, but she gave the massage with very rough hand. She thought the center bone of my back neck as a knot and tried to ease it with pressure, then i had to mention that is my bone, not a knot! She was sincere but she needs to know more about massaging body. The day after, my already sore shoulder is even more sore. Paid for a pedicure that included a 30 minute massage and the lady rubbed some scrub on my legs went up and down rinsed my legs off and was done. Went with two other people and while they were getting a massage my lady was finishing up my polish. Will probably not be returning due to the fact I did get the service I paid for. I went again recently last Sunday and a gentleman did my nails he was very rude he literally was rushing and I wasn't even done with my pedicure and he was demanding my payment (the girl next to me also) so they could leave when it was closing time. Alex shaped my nails perfectly! I like them short and pointed. She did exactly as I asked and provided helpful polished and design suggestions. I love the ombré style we settled on. I don't usually get my eyebrows wax, but decided to give it a try. I found the technician rough and didn't appreciate being rushed. I've tried this salon twice and both times I was disappointed. I wanted matte blue the first time and they didn't do it right I went back to get it fixed and was basically told they can't do matte blue that well and I'd have to add shine to it. Let me first say this "use to be" a 5 star experience but the quality of service and especially the customer service is just awful. I had been going to Texas Nail Bar faithfully pre pandemic and continued to go after things opened back up but after my customer service experience last week they no longer need to worry about me EVER Returning. It's crazy that when you walk into the shop no matter how busy they are they find away to acknowledge you and start on your services right away but when you return to have them correct the poor quality of work such as crack in the gel or the topcoat peeling off within a few days they make you wait forever. I understand they are not making money if you request to have them correct the problem not only do I still tip them if I have to go back for a correction but they also score $150 for my original service just 4 days ago plus a tip then. I should not be made to feel like an inconvenience to them and quite frankly the guy that was filling in for the manager tried to make it seem like the issue was my fault and to top it off the correction he did was horrid.. my nail looked like a triangle after he refiled it. He asked me if it was ok and I said no, do you really think that looks professional of course now he was just plain offended. I explained in a calm manner that I spend a lot of time coming here & a lot of money and I would hope they would value my business & do a better job but if not there is ton of other nail shops that would be happy to have my business. He did not offer one apology or give zero F's about what I said. What a shame after being a loyal customer for almost 3 1/2 yrs. My first time there was alright. I'm leaving a one star review because of my last two visits recently. For my second visit they weren't able to give me the nail shape that I wanted which it was really stupid because my nails were still long enough for them to be reshaped. When the second tech was reshaping them I asked her to thin out the acrylics as well because they were a little too thick and uneven. She took a poor job then rushed me to pay for it. Then for my third nail tech, I asked for my acrylics to be removed and she painful removed my acrylics and miss the drill multiple times onto my skin. She thin them so much to the point my nail bedding was in pain and bleeding under. So I asked her to paint my nails to cover the damage she done. Worse decision ever. I do notice there are favoritism in the salon. If you're a regular they'll give you the best tech, but if you are someone new/random they'll just rush you with the left overs tech they have. ( Its not their best) BUT if ya'll go to this salon, I would ask for Lisa and no one else. (Because of the damage from the nail technician I wont be able to get my nails done until its fully healed) read more
