The best place to watch sports! Dozens of big screens , plenty of space and several bars under one roof. This area is a tourist attraction and I highly recommended if your visiting the Dallas or DFW area to come here and enjoy a nice outing with a fun ambiance . There an upstairs and downstairs area , resembling a mall but instead of shopping there's a different array of bars and billiards all with its own uniqueness. Cowboys games can get packed here so I'd advise to get here early unless you prefer to stand . I love the atmosphere here and the food is very underrated here as well! read more

Visited for a team lunch and it was overall a good experience. Typical sports bar/restaurant feel except it's HUGE as it's right next to the Rangers Stadium. We visited around 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon and we were able to be seated right away. I ordered a Blue Moon draft for my drink, and our boss got us nachos for the table. The nachos were pretty solid IMO, and it was a great appetizer to share! I ordered the caramelized onion burger with fries as it seemed like that was one of the more popular menu items. My food came out pretty quickly, and the menu did not lie - the burger was pretty solid. It was typical American bar food. Nothing too crazy, but it WAS good so I will leave it at 4 stars. It would have probably been 4.5 and I might have even thought about rounding up to 5 stars, but my coworker's order took about 55 minutes to come out. They said the kitchen was backed up, but everyone else got their food except his. Seemed like they just forgot to put in the order. But other than that, everything else was pretty great! read more

So I was traveling through the Big D on my way back to El Paso (Ft Bliss), and had to stop by and see an old Army friend. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza, and he lives in the area, and it was Monday Night Football, so he suggested Texas Live! I've been to the Rangers park, I've been to a Cowboys game... I've even been to Six-Flags... but never have I been to Texas Live! This place was amazing. The amount of FOOD, SPORTS, and DRINKS this place has to offer is incredible. The location is spot on. The size and the "look and feel" is perfect. I totally had a blast watching MNF at Texas Live, had a few drinks and ate some decent food. Me and my buddy was able to catch up and just enjoy the evening. I can't imagine how crowded it gets in Cowboys game day though. But I'm sure I'll find out?! If ever I can't get tickets to a Cowboys game, I think a cool alternative would be to still come into town and watch the game here at Texas Live! I can imagine it's packed and they go hard on game day. If I lived in the area, I'd probably be here for UFC fights and NBA games. Cool place! Worth checking out! read more

First time at Texas Live and from what I saw, this place rocks!! and as opening day gets closer and closer for the new baseball stadium it's ever going to get better and better. PBR is where we hung out on a Saturday night and that place is cool as heck. Decent dance floor, plenty of seating and an outdoor are with some decent views. There was also another club right outside of PBR downstairs that looked like they were having a rave or something like that. It was crazy!! Haven't tried the food or restaurants, just had drinks and they can be a bit pricey even for beer. I will be back for sure! read more

WOW. Mark this down. I'll admit I was wrong about what I thought about having a sports themed bar and restaurant mall/venue between the 2 massive stadiums in Arlington! I thought it was a silly idea and who would go??? Now that I've been there, I would! This is a really cool bar and massive multi-screen video display where part of it can slide up and open a stage for performers as all enjoy drinks, meals and sporting events being shown! It is beyond cool (Yes, I wanted to use other obscene words to exaggerate how cool!) WOW!! There are plenty of cool restaurants with different price points and fares plus ring side balcony seating up high! The center floor bar in front of the video screen has massive 8-10 person booths! Prices are absolutely worth it and reasonable depending on what you get! The performing act was a Beatles Tribute band for an hour before the Paul McCartney concert. I think this place is a good, viable alternative to attending a live game for a Dallas team. Ticket prices were a little out of reach for the Stars playoff game last night, so we opted for Texas Live instead. I have to say I was pretty happy with that choice. The gigantic screen is a dream to watch sports on. Plus, the arena has the same airhorns, thematic lighting, and wraparound ribbons you'd see in any stadium. That made it feel like were almost there! But definitely in a more comfortable venue - it was nice to be in a cushy booth rather than squeezed into a tiny plastic chair at the arena. The venue is truly fantastic, with lots of restaurants and bars attached to or near the main arena venue. If you're a sports fan, it would be fun for a night out to bounce around the different bars. I think they're still having some growing pains. The food we had was not great. My burger was almost 100% a frozen Sysco patty and felt like a rock in my stomach. For a venue that appears as trendy as Texas Live, I feel like they can hire some chefs to cook a decent burger. After all, great food could be part of the appeal of heading here instead of the game itself. Unfortunately, they fell flat. And the nacho plate -- geeze. That thing is a monster, and could serve 6 people easily. Sadly they use the crappy nacho cheese on it, taking what could have been an amazing dish down about 3 notches. Also, they don't see to have the full venue staffed up yet. It's pretty sad to see such a giant, beautiful venue so...empty. I hope business picks up for them. For as much as we paid for drinks and food ($80 for two people), the quality should have been a lot better. If Arlington was closer to me, I'd probably come here more often. Definitely not for the food, more for the game experience. And as a heads up: you can reserve some of the preferred seating ahead of time if you call a day ahead. read more

I cannot endorse this place. It's flashy and well maintained but I will NEVER return. I have very little tolerance and patience for places that discriminate. On the night of a women's Final Four they opted to show men's CBI and a random sports countdown show. When we asked why they wouldn't dedicate one screen to the women's game the staff shrugged and said women's sports are unimportant. I get it, women's sports have an uphill battle for market share. Yet, things like this is a big reason why women's sports struggle to gain market share. What a great way to bring tons of money into the Arlington area! We had so much fun coming to Texas live! This place is huge! Lots of restaurants, TVs, bars, patios, music, sports, etc.! We took a Lyft so we didn't have to park. I know parking on game nights is around $20. You can literally walk to both stadiums from this place! We came for a "VIP" party that our friend had won. The VIP parties are held on Friday nights. You get to sample several foods from different restaurants and the bars have great drink specials ($3,4,5)!! For the VIP party you have to get invited and RSVP. Once you get there, you stand in a designated line to get a wrist band. Then they give you a list of restaurants that are giving out food samples. You walk around with your cheap drinks and eat free food all evening! It was a lot of fun! We sampled: Pudges pizza, PBR brisket sliders, quesadillas, nachos, and burger sliders from Troys. The PBR brisket sliders were my favorite! Regular prices for food and beer are pretty high. I think that is to be expected given the environment/location. I personally wouldn't want to come here on a game night, based on how crazy crowded it would be. I also don't like paying to park. From what I saw, many of the really nice tables and spots to watch the gigantic TV are "reserved". So I'm sure they cost quite a bit to sit at! I can see how it would be a really fun place to watch a game, but I would much rather avoid the crowds/extra prices and come on a non-game night! read more

The perfect place to catch all the games! Texas Live has a huge board of TV's spanning across an entire wall, serving all sports all the time. My friends and I were looking for a good spot to see the playoffs but also an important baseball game as well. Most sports bars cater to the home crowd's team and not the lesser match-ups of the night, but Texas Live! has it all. Super friendly service made this a great experience. Our waitress was very knowledgable of the menu and gave great recommendations when it came deciding what to eat and drink. They have great prices on beers where you can get either an 11oz or 23oz pint. For dinner, I went with the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Packed with a little heat, the Southern Comeback Sauce added tons flavor and deliciousness. Each of my friends went with it and we all loved it. Only downside to the restaurant is that they stop selling food at 8:30, which is kind of strange. I have been hear twice now and have eaten at a couple of the places within Texas Live. The food is what you expect from a place that has multiple restaurants; it wasn't amazing but it was good. I am giving it a four star because even though the food wasn't amazing, the drinks and the atmosphere is awesome if you are into sports. I will definitely be going back and watching some more football games before football season is over. The service is good, everyone is friendly, and it's a great place to go when you are wanting that bar environment without the dirty environment. Maybe it's just during sporting events or on football Sundays, but there is a minimum you have to spend if you get a table. This review is for the Cowboy Bar inside Texas Live since they don't have a separate Yelp page. I visited the Cowboy Bar during my weekend stay at Live By Loews (amazing hotel! Highly recommended!) Cowboy Bar was great, definitely has a honky tonk feel but more urban. They play top 40 as well not just country. You can also try to ride the mechanical bulls (they have 2 on each end), or just sit back with a beer and watch those who dare. Hilarious and entertaining. Drinks were great, the crowd was great, and the bartenders were awesome. Turned out to be one of my favorite spots out of all the multiple bars at the Texas Live complex. I felt right at home!
