He walked me through basic maintenance items, things to look for as a new home owner, and brought many things to our attention to get the builder to fix prior to closing. We will definitely be using Recon Home Inspection in the future for our 11-month Warranty Inspection.

This last time I was out of town for the inspection abd wasnt able to be there in person. I highly recommend being there because these guys will answer any questions you have on the spot. This last house has higher than average ceilings (the last one in Spring was only 1 story) and multiple levels so they used a drone. Which is awesome because they found a roof seam that wasnt sealed properly. The also ket me know that the property wasnt graded to provide adequate trainable. These are all very expensive future problems which would cost thousands to repair/ replace after the fact. The cost of this inspection is minimal compared to what they prevent. I drove by this morning and saw work trucks surrounding my future property making repairs. I will *always* use this company when I buy a home in the greater Houston Metro area.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience with Fox Inspection…read moreGroup. As a full-time real estate professional, I've worked with many inspection companies over the years. This was, without question, one of the most disappointing experiences I've encountered. In my opinion, the inspection contained major oversights that resulted in significant issues being discovered after closing. When I initially contacted the company to discuss my concerns, I felt my calls and emails were largely ignored. It wasn't until I retained an attorney and sent a formal legal demand letter that I finally received a meaningful response. What was even more frustrating was the resolution process. Rather than simply standing behind their work, I was presented with a release agreement that required me to give up my right to publicly discuss my experience in exchange for reimbursement of my inspection fee. I found that extremely disappointing. I was willing to resolve the matter professionally, but I was not willing to sign away my ability to honestly share my experience as a customer. Consumers should also know that, at the time of writing, Fox Inspection Group is not BBB accredited. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a great company from an average one is how they respond when those mistakes are brought to their attention. In my experience, Fox Inspection Group failed that test. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service throughout this process was unlike anything I've experienced from an inspection company. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Fox Inspection Group and will not be referring clients to them in the future.

As the highest rated pest control business in the city, I had high expectations for their service…read morebased on their online reputation. Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.
