These ladies improve my quality of life in a huge way. I've been a regular customer for a few years. I never worry about my little dogs escaping when they come to visit and my house is always perfectly clean when they leave. They've done an amazing job with every type of clean they've done- Whether it's a move out, deep clean or biweekly maintenance. I was so happy that they service Round Rock as well as Austin when I moved up north. They've been amazing about communication too- if I drop them a line via email for anything, I get a response ASAP. I had high hopes for this company... A 3 person team showed up to do an initial deep clean of our 2 bedroom 2 bath single story house. We have no pets and minimal stuff/furniture. We always pick up so the cleaners can focus on deep cleaning and not shuffling paper and the such. After about 2.5 hours the main person came to knock on my office door to let me know they were almost done. A few minutes later I noticed they were all walking back to their car. I ran out after them asking if we could do a walk-through. The main person replied "Most peoples just trust us but a second pair of eyes never hurts." We checked the guest bathroom and there was a large, black scuff mark that was about 4 inches thick and 6 inches wide. I asked if they had cleaned the tub and the main person said that her helper had told her she cleaned it and that this mark must be permanent. I reached under my sink, took out a blue non-stick sponge, wet it with water, got into the tub with my bare feet and easily removed the black mark. ??? Did that helper even try?? I called the office and was told: "We don't like to make excuses but the main person as a trainer as this was a new team and they were being trained." I went ahead and paid over the phone feeling confused and disappointment. Being trained? So apparently the main person is supposed to be a mentor and training the new team... and yet she did not double check their work and just "trusts" the new team will do a good job or knows how to do a good job. Well, they didn't. They left a dirty tub. After I got off the phone with the office and the team had left I walked around the house with a more critical eye and found they also didn't dust the top of the fans, which I specifically asked them to do. They left cobwebs all over the living room mirror. And they didn't scrub the stove top (see image attached). And all this cost me $227.33!!! They say they guarantee their work... the office certainly didn't try to offer a re-do. I am incredibly disappointment and can not recommend this company. read more

Two cleaners cheerfully worked longer than I expected and did a great job! First time clean so they had a lot to do. I have no complaints.

I scheduled a cleaning on a Wednesday for a house we had moved out of. Unfortunately, we moved too far away for me to supervise the cleaning, and I work during the week. During the weekend I went to the house to make some last minute repairs and touch ups before putting the house on the market. As you can see from the pictures. The floorboards were untouched despite cleaning of the floorboards being a part of the move-out cleaning service. Texas Green Clean is closed on the weekend, and given the short window, I had to scrub the floorboards myself over 5 hours. The house was going on the market Sunday, so I couldn't wait. When I contacted them about the issue, they refused to give me a refund, despite the inconvenience they caused. After asking to speak to their manager, they now refuse to answer the phone when I call. I don't recommend doing business with them. They don't take responsibility for their mistakes. EDIT: You may see below this review a comment from the owner. It is misleading. I never demanded a full refund. I never got a response from the owner or manager. I never got an opportunity to ask for anything. All I did was tell them what they missed. They ghosted me. Apparently, they will only respond to you if you give them a bad review. I didn't even get to give this cleaning service another shot. I wasn't thrilled with the team I had last time around and the quality of their work so I booked with a new team for my next appointment based on reviews I saw. I got an email reminder today for my next appointment, they had changed the time of my appointment as well as the team who would be cleaning my house without consulting me. I understand that employees quit, turnover happens. I expected them to at least reach out to confirm the time change, it doesn't seem like an unreasonable ask. Weird experience with this company, and I don't want to put up with the lack of communication. This service was a complete rip off. I scheduled them to clean my son and daughter in laws home while they were away on vacation. I paid $600 plus tip for what was supposed to be 4 ppl for 4 hours. First they did NOT stay the promised 4 hours AND did a crumby job cleaning. When I came back the kitchen floors were all sticky the floors in the rest of the house didn't even look mopped, they didn't even empty the trash cans in the bathrooms. They did a very poor job cleaning and it was incredibly upsetting to have to go behind these supposed professionals and clean. To make matters worse when I reached out to them both email and phone I got ZERO response. And I fell for their gimmick and tipped them before I saw their work. I don't even think they use organic products as promised unless maybe they figure using water is organic. I will be contacting the BBB as well as other avenues to make sure no one else falls for their lies. They got me DON'T LET THEM GET YOU!!!! Very sad indeed. read more

Not impressed with their first cleaning of our home. They had 3 people scheduled to come out for a deep cleaning- only 2 showed up. The second one was also about 40 minutes later than the first. The late cleaner was flipping through our marriage photo album while cleaning, which of course made me wonder what else she had looked through/gone through. The floors still had debris on them and they didn't change the toilet paper roll in the bathroom (despite the current roll being empty and a new roll sitting on the counter). The whole reason we hired cleaners is because I just had a baby and we needed some extra help with the house. I feel like I could have done a better job cleaning even with my newborn. Austin has done it again! They allowed a business like this, a privately owned business might I add, to flourish in corporate america! Each room in your home or apartment will be cleaned to a T no matter what condition it was found in! The best part about this company is that they utilize all natural cleaning products which is sooo Austin of them. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they are an experienced group. What a great feeling of walking into a room and realizing they cleaned something you didn't notice until days later just to appreciate their work all over again! The negative reviews are pretty spot on. The cleaning was OK but their service is pretty bad and downright shady. After they damaged our shutters I had to chase them to get a service credit. When we cancelled our service they never returned the keys and lied about mailing them. After chasing them a few times on that they simply just ignored me. Pretty shady stuff. Christina and her gals were amazing. First of all, they were so patient with me because I was running late getting home and they didn't leave or rush the cleaning at all. My apartment was spotless and smelled amazing. I have debated writing this review quite a bit, but have decided others should be able to benefit from my experience. The gentleman Briton who answers the phone, and I think may own the company is SUPER nice and helpful. No problem there. However, this company has cleaned for me for about 6 months. I would say at least 6 times in total. Out of the 6 times I've paid them to clean my house, I would say I was only truly satisfied with their work twice, and one of them was the first cleaning, which is a deeper cleaning and costs more. Let me say, I am not an overly OCD clean person. The other four times, it really felt like the ladies just dusted, vacuumed and swiffered my floors quickly. There were still dust bunnies all around, and the counters and floors just seemed to get a quick once over. The work felt rushed and not worthy of the $120 I paid. This last cleaning was the real issue. The girls were super nice, and I was happy with the cleaning, as I was the first cleaning months ago, but I was shocked to see I was charged $45 more than usual! When I called to find out about the charge, a lady named Melanie explained that they had "new girls" and they were not as seasoned as a girl who quit, and therefore not as fast. I could tell my the way she said it, that I was not going to be able to get through to her about how wrong that is. I just thought to myself that I would just never hire this company again. Being a manager of a company myself, I knew I had to say something to get their attention, so here's my story and my review. I wish Texas Green Clean the best, and hope things get better both quality of work wise, as well as treating your their customers fairly in terms of pricing, for Briton's sake! Thinking everything was back to normal, I hired Texas Green Clean to perform my move-out cleaning service. The actual cleaning was good, but I can't say the same for how my payment was handled. When the owner called to get my credit card information, he told me the crew was there for four hours. He said they have some type of GPS tracking device on the girls' phones so they can automatically detect when a job has started and completed. I could have sworn they were only there for three hours, so I checked with my husband to make sure since he was at the actual house for the cleaning. Sure enough, they were there for just at three hours. I even have a text message from him alerting me they were finished. When I sent a follow up email to the owner, he said he would only charge me for three hours and sent me the receipt. The receipt and my bank account show he charged me for three and a half hours. I wasn't negotiating; I only wanted to be charged for the amount of time they girls worked, as agreed upon. I sent a follow up, and now, no response. Sketchy. Needless to say, this is my second bad experience with Texas Green Clean. I did my due diligence and gave them another chance, but I won't make that mistake again. read more

Wow, I don't have enough words to say thank you to this company, ok so I grew up with a really strict mom about cleaning, you know how Mexican moms are, since I was a kid every friend that I invited to my house were amazed of how clean and organized my house was, so I grew up with that mentally (I even order my clothes by colors, I mean) when My boyfriend and I got this house I knew immediately it was gonna need a lot of cleaning, so I research a couple of companies to help me some weeks, I tried 3 companies before and honestly I have always felt they didn't do a good job I will be pretty much always end up cleaning after them, so I felt I was just throwing my money away, I was about to give up with cleaning companies until a friend recommended this company, I seriously did have high expectations, but I needed a little help for a party that we were having at my house, so I gave them a call and they immediately were so attentive of my needs! They seriously surprised me whenever they sent these two amazing woman that completely understood my OCD and they did an outstanding job, I will definitely keep using them and I am now recommend them to everyone, for being this good and the best thing is that they have really reasonable prices. I wish that I could write two reviews for Texas Green Clean because I used them twice in a week; once for a move out clean and once to clean the new house that I just moved into. Positives first--- they did a wonderful job with my move out clean at my downtown apartment; they were on time and the place was sparkling. Well worth the $120 dollars. So, the first review would be pretty glowing with few to no complaints. Also, scheduling cleans is easy thru their online portal. Really convenient. However, unfortunately, the house cleaning was pretty sub-par and I wish that I had not spent the over $200 on it...especially when I loyally chose to use them twice in a week. The ladies arrived on time once again which was nice, however, I came home to a house that didn't a all looked scrubbed down, corners of the house were still dirty, the bathroom didn't even look like they really had scrubbed at all. It really appeared that they simply vacuumed the carpets and did a walk thru with a clorox wipe on most of the surfaces around the rest of the house. I was truly not enthused and, like I have said, had experienced much better with the move out clean prior AND with other maids in the Austin area. It truly looked like they spent 20 minutes top on the house. If anyone has any suggestions for maids in the area I'm all ears. read more

Ok this review is mixed. First, the owner is VERY nice. He was nice on the phone, and made the entire set up process easy to handle. Even calling to make sure everything was okay, and the ladies who came to clean were also nice. However, the actual cleaning was not so great. It wasn't horrible, but just okay. The ladies arrived late (but did call to notify me) and once arrived they started cleaning and still did get to the major things, just that it wasn't deeply cleaned. I like when the corners of every counter, floor, etc.. are also throughly wiped, not just the general area of what we see or use. I guess just more attention to the details so that I can relax and enjoy a clean house, instead of zeroing in on dirt or missed areas, and having to re clean them instead of relaxing. (The owner would have probably sent them back to touch up anything missed, he seemed nice like that, but I want a service so that I don't have to inspect or "think", I want them to take care of it. I was a little nervous about trying Texas Green Clean as their reviews are so drastically hit-and-miss, but I trusted the experience of Kelly S and liked that they had a Yelp promotion going on, so I gave them a shot. We hired them to come in and do a general/first time deep clean on the house. I'm 99% positive our house was never professionally cleaned between us and the previous tenants, so it may be reasonable to assume it hadn't been deep-cleaned in 5ish years. We knew it was going to be a task in terms of dusting, mopping, baseboards, refrigerator, etc. 2 hours seemed reasonable. Getting 3 people and 2 large dogs out of the house long enough for them to take care of business is a big ordeal for us, coordinating works schedules and such, but we managed. The girls showed up on time, checked in with me several times via text, everything seemed wonderful. 4 hours later, they finally let me know they were heading out. I was and am still perplexed as to how our house required 4 hours of cleaning, but there wasn't an extra charge so I didn't question it much. Getting home, the house WAS remarkably clean and smelled wonderful. There were a few missed places, like the baseboards in one bedroom, a spill on the baseboard in the living room (came up easily with soap and water), scrubbing the stove top until 100% clean (I just got a rag and finished it myself), cleaning the freezer (I paid for the fridge cleaning service), etc. Unfortunately there were some other weird issues: 1. A trashcan from one of the bedrooms is mysteriously missing. We looked EVERYWHERE, outside and inside, and that sucker is flat out gone. I called TGC and spoke to Briton about it, but we laughed it off as it must have been left somewhere weird and that we'd find it eventually. We still haven't found it and had to buy a new one. 2. I assume in an attempt to clean my dusty ceiling fan, they sprayed cleaning solution on it. Well, there are three light sockets with bulbs on the fan, which they sprayed, and immediately blew the fuse to. After taking the fan mechanism apart, wiping out all the cleaning solution, replacing the fuse, wiping out all the light sockets and replacing the BRAND NEW bulbs (dimmer compatible, energy efficient soft white, $10 each), we got it working again. In the e-mails I have exchanged with Briton it doesn't look like we are going to be compensated for the $50 of parts we had to invest in the fan and replacing the trash can. He wanted to send an insurance adjuster over to inspect all the damage, the problem being that we'd already scrambled to get everything fixed and replaced before our guests arrived. Not much we can do about that. Overall a disappointing, strange situation. Could have gone a lot better. read more

Fantastic Service! The lady, Renee, I talked to set up my appointment was very helpful and answered all of my questions about their services. I absolutely love that they don't use any harsh chemicals to clean my house, except for the oven, but that's to be expected (how else are you going to clean it?) The ladies that showed up to my house to clean were fantastic! Fun, and personable. They handled all of my silly requests with a professionalism and grace one can only hope for (I can be a tad picky about how I like my place cleaned). TX Green Clean -I met the cleaning team at my apartment at 11:30 on our scheudled cleaning date. They were on time (a huge deal to me), friendly and very professional. After they initiated a friendly introduction, they asked what special needs my home had. After speaking with the professinal staff, I had no qualms about turning over my humble abode to the team to do their cleaning magic. FF---several hours later when I arrived home from work. I turned the key and was eager to see/smell my clean apartment. I walked in and was greeted with a pleasant aroma of a freshly cleaned apartment. It smelled soooo good. No pine-sol, windex or dust cleanser smells in my house. No, this smell was very pleasant and pure. Almost like a luxury candle you would purchase that gives off a clean/indistinguishable scent. My wood floors were gleaming! I LOATHE mopping...and with a dog that leaves puppy paw prints occasionally, it was getting downright embarrassing. My living room rug looked brand new- thank you! I then went on to inspect the ceiling fan blades- shiny and dust-free- my sinuses were singing hallelujah. I could go on and on... To put it concisely: The cleaning team transformed my apartment into a clean/green haven. They did the works on my apartment (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, bathrooms, bookcases, sinks, mirrors, etc). Everything was wiped down and sanitized...AND did I mention, they are a 'green' company? They use only safe/green products like: Ecover, Lifetree, Seventh Generations, and Mrs. Meyers. So, not only do you get a clean home..but you also feel good about using safe cleaning products. My husband hired this company to help me deep clean our house after we moved in. I woke up early that morning to tidy up so that they could spend their time on the things I needed rather than surface cleaning. I wasn't home for the majority of the clean but when I reviewed it after I was overall very disappointed. -some window sills not dusted -only one shower wall wiped and grout was not cleaned -did not move items on floor when vacuuming. I.e. Left ottoman in middle of living room floor and vacuumed around it. -did not dust in hard to reach areas -did not mop kitchen floor The one positive I have is that they vacuumed the stairs very well. Maybe I misunderstood what this cleaning service was to provide. They did wash the few dishes I had remaining from breakfast. What I wanted was the window sills and baseboards to be cleaned. The grout in the master bathroom shower to be scrubbed etc. if you are looking for a deep clean this is NOT the company to go for. We hired them based on all of the positive reviews but keep in mind they offer current customers discounts to write positive reviews. Final note: I thought only "green" chemicals were used but saw Bon Ami in the cleaning basket. read more

And he explained his policy on not touching/cleaning electronics, which is totally understandable. Even though we had already moved on to another cleaning service he said he would not accept payment and would get rid of my wife's check. After living in my apartment for 9 months, I didn't think the move-out cleaning would be that difficult. I severely underestimated not only how busy I would be, but also how much collateral damage I had caused my innocent 1 bedroom apartment in a mere 9 months. The week of my move out date I frantically called Texas Green Clean, desperate to get any appointment possible. The owner, Brit, was awesome and scheduled (and even allowed me to re-schedule...twice) the appointment and the cleaning girls without any hassle for me and I didn't have to worry about a thing! And email confirmation was sent to me and I was thrilled. On the day of the cleaning, the girls were running a little behind because they needed to switch out a vacuum. This was communicated to me 20 minutes before our appointment time and I was in constant contact with them-- they even let me know when they were on their way and they showed up shortly after the appointment time. Once the 2 women arrived, they were very friendly and even introduced themselves and shook my hand. They were ready to get to work so I left the apartment and let them to it! I was in communication with Missy while I was gone and she texted me with status updates and when I asked for an estimated time of completion (like I said, there was some inexplainable wear and tear that I caused on that poor apartment), she was prompt to respond and was cheerful in doing so. I returned to the apartment and it was amazing!! I didn't think it was possible! And most noticeably (this was the first thing my two friends who were with me commented on too) was the amazing smell--- it didn't smell like a bucket of bleach had been sitting on the kitchen floor for two hours or like Lysol had been sprayed in excess-- it still smelled like a clean HOME! The fact that TGC 7/3: safe/green products was major reason I chose them! All in all, I was extremely pleased and IMPRESSED (shocked may be a better word considering the state of my apartment!) at the prompt, professional and amazing service. On Thursday I had two magical angels, Kayla & Heather, come and clean my house. I am so happy. My house looks amazing and is super clean. Everything is in the right place and easy to find. They even vacuumed under my bed and moved all my dog's toys. They even went under the bed and moved all my dogs toys and cleaned. My tub is rid of all my hair color stains. My fridge was all wiped down too! My only complaint is that they didn't call before they came which I asked them to, but whatever. The price is super reasonable especially for the extra little details they did. I'll be calling them again. read more

I had my initial clean yesterday and they did a great job! There was a few smaller things that could have been paid more attention since it was a "deep" clean... like the tops of the windows where the locks are weren't wiped. But I am kind of nit picky about those things, I guess since I'm paying for it to be done. Over all they did a great job and were done pretty quickly! I was a little upset that my daughters drawers got scratched from moving a picture that was laying on it, but more so that they didn't say anything when it happened. It's an easy fix with some touchup paint but again, it would have been nice to been told. I would have liked a little more attention to detail, especially since I have animals that shed a lot and there were some hairs stuck to the ground after mopping. It was important to me to find an eco-friendly cleaning service, and we were all-around impressed with TX Green Clean. I really appreciate that they use all eco-friendly cleaning materials, which are not only better for the environment, but they leave your house smelling clean without smelling like toxic chemicals. The girls were very friendly, did a great job, and they got along very well with our doggies. They do all the normal house cleaning stuff, but if you have any special requests, they are happy to do that for you too. This was my fist time ever having my home professionally cleaned so I was pretty excited. I suppose my expectations were pretty high. I keep my house pretty clean anyways and I have high standards (maybe from working at 4 diamond hotels for several years.) I scheduled a deep clean or an "initial cleaning" for first time clients. I noticed several baseboards that were not cleaned. The vent hood was only wiped down as far as the person could reach. My soap dishes in the bathrooms were not cleaned (still had soap residue). And it didn't appear that my windows were wiped down either. Also, it looked that my front door rug got some threads caught in their vacuum. (I'm not terribly broken up about it since it's past it's prime.) Overall, I thought the price was pretty good. (Although I do have a smallish house.) But I was really expecting to have my house looking better than I could clean it. On a customer service level, only my husband met the girls cleaning. He thought they were friendly. But I was really surprised that being a first time customer there was no follow up. Four well-earned stars: I got an "initial deep cleaning" and my cat doesn't even recognize this house. It smell so good in here and everything is neat and shining. The rooms smell lightly of floral potions, the appliances are gleaming, and the beds are made hotel-style. And I was just told that if you refer 2 people, you get $100 off your next service. That's a free house-cleaning for me! So tell them I sent you...please! Why not 5 stars? - the hallway rug was crooked. Hip hip HOORAY for Texas Green Clean! We had a dog stay in our house with friends over the summer, and we returned to a house full of dog hair. You name a surface, it was hairy. And I'm allergic to dogs. I found Texas Green Clean via Yelp, and loved that you could schedule online. I wanted someone who could come asap--and they had availability within 48 hours! YES! Kasey came out to clean for us, and as she ran her finger over dusty/hairy surfaces as I toured her around the house, I knew we were going to be well taken care of. We came home a few hours later to a SPOTLESS house. You could lick my floor, even at the way way back of the couch. And even better, the house smelled amazing--clean, but not chemical-clean. I love these ladies so much, eveyone has been super awesome, house is allways clean eveything allways looks great. Also I'll tell you a little seceret, I Have pet nanny cams that I check on and off, (mostly just to see when they are done ect.) and I allways catch them being super sweet to my kittes and it makes me smile. I just got a great deal on a somewhat run-down place and have been working on it to get it ready for renovation. Yes, that's right. I have to clean it out before I can start doing demo work. (It was a really *great* deal.) The kitchen was a bit rough, and the bathroom was so grim that I had barely even set foot in there. Oh, and the kid-of-a-friend I hired to remove the popcorn texture from the ceiling left plaster dust evvvvvvverywhere... It was seriously looking post-apocalyptic in there. So, anyway, Texas Green Clean sent some folks out, and they worked very hard for a long time, and now it's much nicer and brighter and smells fantastic. Most of what they did was focusing on the kitchen, bathroom, and windows, while I worked alongside them with a broom and shop-vac to try to get the plaster under control. Their vacuums are more suited to day-to-day cleaning rather than post-renovation junk, but that's OK-- they were busy the whole time scrubbing and scraping and dusting. Customer Service: 5 Cleaning Ability: 5 Value of Service: 5 (worth every penny) OK. So. Some things you should know about me. I'm Busy. Like all the time. Also, I do NOT have time for cooking, cleaning, or writing reviews. Hey I enjoy those things, but a girl gotta work. That said. I needed help this week. A friend recommended I call Texas Green Clean. Let me just say, customer service is a dying art. Some of the other places I called while I was waiting for Texas Green to call me back(look if they hadn't called back I needed SOMEBODIES help) were just awful at customer service, that may not speak to their actual cleaning ability, but it doesn't bode well. Briton from Texas Green was so nice. He took my order recapped it and was able to fit me in the next day (did I mention this was an emergency cleaning) AWESOME. The ladies showed up at 3 ready to work. They were also very kind (super nice, actually) I came back at 430 and they were hard at work. Look, like i said, I don't have much time for things that aren't work. So these poor lovely ladies had a task, to say the least. They were out of the apt around 5 and left it gorgeous. Seriously. My jaw dropped. It smelled amazing. It LOOKED amazing. And I was left feeling relieved. Let me also say, I am not the easiest person to impress. Obviously, I was impressed. These guys DEFINITELY have a loyal customer, who will be recommending them to all their friends. So, in short, Briton, Kathleen and Crystal, THANK YOU. That is how customer service should be.
