I have been doing business with ACG for a couple of years. They come in every 4 weeks and give everything a good scrub. Once a year, I pay extra for a deep clean and window washing. They consistently do a good job in under 2 hours. Although I may get a new team every other time, they apparently have standards to be met every time because I have no issues. Their charges seem to be fair, as I've asked around and they are in line. If anyone asks, I give their info out because I trust them. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE IN THE SHORT TERM RENTAL BUSINESS!! BEWARE YOU WILL LOSE MONEY USING THEM IN THE LONG RUN. They constantly forget about scheduled cleanings even though they had our iCalendar links. They claimed they checked their schedule 3 times a day but I had to constantly let them know. They did very bad jobs cleaning my properties. I constantly got complaints about fans and air vents being dirty(which they should have cleaned periodically like ANY cleaning service should). They consistently forgot to put the trash bins out front and I had to pay out of pocket to have someone go and take out the trash from the bins because they would be overloaded since they weren't picked up. One time I even let them know about a cleaning the day before and they said they scheduled it for the next day and nobody showed up. I didn't agree with my last bill because I lost over $2000 in revenue because of cancellations and complaints from guests. I've had listings suspended for 5 days on Airbnb because this company did not do a good job cleaning. I told them that they should eat some of the loss with me because it wasn't my fault that I had to lose out on bookings and revenue because of their mistakes. By the way, these mistakes were over 10 times over the span of 3 months. They will not provide pictures in a timely manner for all their cleanings even though Alejandro(the manager) promised me he could provide this service for every cleaning so we had proof that the homes were cleaned. I know people make mistakes so I tried to work with them on multiple occasions but every time I asked for them to have a manager call me they would not, but recently when they wanted payment for the last bill, the manager called me over 10 times in one day. Ironic how he's so available all of a sudden once they need payment but nowhere to be found when I needed to find a solution with their cleaning services and operations. Also, they threatened to put a lien on my landlord's houses, report me to Austin STR code department, and file a theft of service because we could not come to agreement on the last bill. They also stated they didn't have the ability to drop off the rest of my cleaning supplies in a timely manner because they didn't have the "time" for it yet they had no problem scheduling cleaners for my house at any last minute notice because of their screw ups. read more

Tenants moved out of our rental condo after two years and left it in a complete mess. I am not exaggerating when I say that it looks like the place wasn't cleaned once in those two years. I am shuddering just thinking back now. Did a quick search on Yelp for a cleaning crew in Austin and these guys popped up. They had the best response time along with the best pricing. No brainer for me. I booked a reservation for Saturday morning at 11:00. Two ladies showed up and did a great job. When they entered and I showed them around the place, I could tell they were very surprised by the state of the condo. Once they were done, I did a walk through and only found two spots where I requested a little more work. They finished up with no issues. I opted for the move out special and added inside cleaning for the microwave and oven. Great job for a reasonable price. They were easy to work with too! read more

The house was empty and has a lot of work to be done on it - it's about 20 years old and has all of the original fixtures that came with it. We were able to get a 3 hours cleaning appointment for two days later. It was really easy to book the appointment for and TACG did a great job of informing us about the job and communicating with us. The original total bill with add-ons was $365. We've used many local cleaning businesses in Austin in the past, and were excited to support another. Unfortunately the cleaning itself was not satisfactory. The cleaners showed up over half an hour earlier than the job was scheduled for (10am). I rushed to unlock the house and then left. We got a text before noon that they had finished cleaning as we were pulling up to have some appliances delivered. The cleaners were sitting outside on their phones waiting to be picked up; they left as we entered the home and as the delivery men showed up with our appliances. Once they were installed and the delivery men left, we surveyed the house. Aside from the bathrooms, it didn't smell like the house had been sanitized at all. There was still dust in our vent fans, door frames, dirt on baseboards, stains on windowsills, etc. We let TACG know about our disappointment. This was our very first time using them, and it left a bad impression having the cleaners show up significantly earlier than anticipated and not finishing the job as they sat on their phones. They reached back out to offer to schedule a follow-up cleaning to finish the job within 48 hours, or to offer 10% off the base package (basically, they offered a $30 refund since they weren't accounting for the add-on prices). Again, the initial cleaning was their first impression; we did not trust them to do the job adequately the second time, and we do not have the flexibility to be present to let them into our home and stay around to ensure they did everything correctly. ----- After a lot of back-and-forth the last couple of days, where they hinted at legal retaliation against us because we were refusing to pay anywhere near $300 for their service, we ended up settling on a bill of $212. In the future, we will stick with other local Austin cleaning services that have exceeded our expectations in our first experiences with them. EDIT: We never requested less than a $100 bill. This service was not worth $400 though. read more

I wanted to work with a company that was willing to come look at the job on site so there weren't any surprises for either of us. Austin Cleaning Group was one of very few companies willing to do that. Most of the companies just schedule their crews out and work at time of arrival so there's really no way to get a firm quote until the last minute. The lead Alejandro was incredibly professional and easy to work with. Gave us all the numbers up front and explained the job in great detail. We had our whole house cleaned as well as a make-ready service as we were renting it out and needed things such as faucets replaced. They were even willing to replace the caulk in our master bathroom. These folks work very hard and will do walkthroughs with you to make sure everything is up to your standard of quality. I scheduled a move out clean for August 31st and was given a 2 hour window for arrival along with a special discount from $230 to $149, which I agreed to. When I hadn't heard from anyone after the 2 hour timeslot I called the company several times,left voicemails asking for a follow up. They said they'll have the person call me back, which she did and said she was running late, which is no problem Around 5 I hadn't heard back, so again I called several times leaving voicemails sending messages thru their website and yelp. They finally respond, apologizing and saying that she was supposed to be there already and they will have her call me, but no one calls back. I send messages asking is she coming, please can I have an update or even just acknowledge that you are receiving my messages. Finally thru yelp, they message me apologizing again for the inconvenience and offering a 50% discount. While I appreciated it, I would much rather she showed up on time or at least someone let me know what's going on. The lady finally arrives and she was very sweet snd and did a great job. After shes done, I receive an invoice, showing the full price of $230 with a 50% discount bringing the price to $115. The price that I was quoted and that we agreed upon was $149 so why did the price jump back up. The issue isn't the $34, it's the lack of communication and transparency thats the problem. If they said we'll take $34 off your bill for the inconvenience and your new total is $110, great no problem. Instead they said we'll give you 50% off and then increased the original price they gave me by almost $100. They didn't increase the price because the job was more extensive or because I was late or cancelled. It just makes me question, were they always going to increase the price or was this just a way for them to get paid the amount we originally agreed upon or maybe It was another failure to communicate properly on their part. Either way, I won't be using them again to find out. Like I said the lady they sent was very sweet and she did a great job and I appreciate the gesture of the discount. However, moving is stressful enough and I don't want to waste any energy or time having to worry if someone is going to show up, frantically searching for a backup in case they don't, and have to use every possible means of communication to get a "she's on her way, she'll be there soon" as a response. read more

I guess I'll never know how well they clean because they never showed up to the appointment I booked. I'm very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and the complete disrespect of my time. I had scheduled a 9am appointment for an apartment cleaning for Saturday morning. Six minutes before 9am, I got a text saying that they were finishing up their previous appointment and would be heading to me soon. At 10:07 am, I was sent another message saying there was an emergency at the previous clients house and they needed to stay with the client's kid until the client got back. I told them that that was fine and that they could text me when they were headed my way. At this point (it's now 10:30am), they asked to reschedule for 1pm and told me they'd be here at 1pm with a team of 3 and that they would clean the entire apartment within an hour (since I needed to be somewhere at 2:30). We agreed on that. I waited and waited and no one showed up. I pushed two commitments (one morning one and one early afternoon one) waiting for them. If they had just communicated to me that they couldn't keep this appointment, I could have booked another cleaning service and not have had to change my plans waiting on them. read more

I had a post-construction (full bathroom remodel and over 1000 sft of popcorn ceiling removal and replastering) DUSTBOWL nightmare in my house. I mean, the dust had dust. White, powdery plaster dust in and on every single thing everywhere. Even in the tiny buttons of my remote controls, it was indeed that bad. Well, Austin Cleaning Group cleaned it ALL!!! They did two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, dining room, large kitchen, eating nook and laundry area. They also cleaned ALL the blinds free of my powdery nightmare, and my desk, and my mac, and my printer. It goes on and on - and they cleaned it all. Did I mention my floors? Trashed before, swept, mopped and immaculate when they left. I have seen bad reviews below, maybe I got lucky? But I doubt it, these two ladies worked like a crew of six.
