These folks are great! My apartment claims it is "illegal" to recycle, so there is no place to do it on site. I regularly fill the back of my car with paper, cardboard and plastic & tin cans & glass and haul it over to your site. When I arrive, I am always met with kindness and sometimes a quizzical look that seems to say, "Is that all you got Girl?" They treat me as if I brought them a precious load of gold. You rock! I am going to find where I can leave a review. I don't think my new driver likes me because my eight year-old mom asked him to back up the road versus turning around on our property that leaves huge tire tracks. The driver before him always backed up the road says then, he will only pick up certain items in my trashcan and leave others. However, he has no problem picking up everything that's overflowing not in bags, etc. for my neighbor so I think the driver has an app for me because my mom asked him not to turn around on our property ruining it. Change the hours to reflect the actual hours. They close 15 minutes early every day. So the hours should be 4:45pm on weekdays and 2:45pm on Saturday. Twice I have pulled up to them closing the gate and turning me away with a vehicle full of trash before I go out of town. read more

Was a customer for about 5 years. They frequently missed scheduled pick up days. Nice people answered the phones but were mostly useless in resolving failed pickups. Final straw was being told cans were not 5 feet apart so no pickup that day. No warning or notification, just the "screw you" approach. I'm grateful there are other options in my area. read more

Just wanted to leave a positive review for Eco-Depot in Bee Cave! My husband and I cleared out 20 years of "stuff" we'd accumulated in our garage, and took it over there in our trailer to unload into one of their dumpsters. As we waited (very short wait), we saw a number of others pulling in with loads of yard waste they had cleared from our neighbors' properties. Clearly, their services are necessary in this area! We received great service, with smiles, from Jane and the whole team there. Also, it was an excellent value compared to what we would have paid to have the stuff hauled off. I suppose I have to give TDS their due. A hydraulic line blew on one of their garbage trucks, just outside my house. Within a few hours they had a cleanup crew spreading kitty litter and mopping up most of the oil. I thought "welp, that's pretty above and beyond for a big company", despite the huge oil stains. Not 48 hours later, they dispatched a crew to power wash the street! Wow. There are still several large oil stains in the road, but they made two solid attempts within a week, which is better than most globocorps. Now if only they would do something about the trashcans which regularly crack and spill garbage into the streets... read more

I have been to the TDS Bee Caves Eco Depot six times over the past month. Lots of home fix up and carting off brush and junk. The team has been so helpful including lending a hand when I was emptying brush or dumping trash items. I have picked up mulch and crushed granite and the people have been nice and efficient. This review is about the transfer station on South 620, almost to Hwy71 intersection. Whoever signs Tristan's paychecks, PAY THE MAN MORE. He is the ONLY reason I am writing this review and is responsible for every star I'm giving. I have been treated rudely and dismissively by your other employees at other locations over the years when I've tried multiple times to get monthly pickup service. (Seeing how ALL of your other trash locations have one and two star ratings here, apparently that's a theme for your company.) So I decided instead of being treated like shit, I'd reduce my trash output and drive it to the dump myself. That's worked wonderfully for years. Way cheaper, too! A couple weeks ago, I stopped in at this location to test the waters, and I met Tristan. I am pleasantly surprised! He was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! Imagine that! He quickly told me how much it was to dump my trash, showed me where and how, gave me a hand with it, and did it all with a smile. And not a hint of the condescension and derision that is a hallmark of your company! I've already been back again, and am planning on stopping in later this week, too. You seriously need to do whatever you can to keep Tristan as an employee. You'd also do well to learn from him so you can teach your other employees how to treat customers so they'll want to give you money. With the way the area is growing, it won't be long before you are NOT the only game in town for monthly pickup service. 'Til then, I'll keep using your 620 station. I have a big problem with the Bee Cave, 620 garbage depot. The pollution that they are creating is unbelievable. I don't know how and why the city of Bee Cave allowed this in out neighborhood. It is not only an eyesore, it is the pollution that is being distributed through the air. How such place be allowed stuck in the middle of a very nice city is beyond any logic. One exception is female representative that is always in bad mood and speaks down to customers like they are beneath her. I have been with Texas Disposal since Jan of 14. In the last month they have changed being very picky about picking up anything other than the cart. Today is recycling day. I had one extra box packed with boxes and 1 extra bag in a smaller can left. I called and per the service rep they only pick up the cart. Being very polite I explained they have always picked up extra boxes. I was then moved to the supervisor Christina. She said she could put a note on my account to clear everything for the next few weeks but would not start till Saturday. Now I am faced with hauling off my own trash as I do not want to leave trash in the street for a week. What is even more disappointing is I practically begged her to come on Tuesday when you can pay the extra $20 for bulk pick up and she said she did not have the authority to write off that charge. Would hope the company would empower their employees to help make things right. Now I am posting this review in multiple places in hopes they can see that they are not living up to the standard I have enjoyed from them for years. read more

One more update, and this is more about TDS being a dump site. I still won't buy a bag of dirt from them. Whether they've revised their prices, or I had gone before in a much bigger truck (I drive an old 90's mini-truck), I haven't had a bill over $15 for a few years now. Luck out and show up when there's little to no line and this place is a breeze. Not having to drive all the way over to the airport from western Travis County is super sweet. They get a star back for it. They're also open longer on Saturdays. I think until 5pm now. read more

The absolute worst service ever - Sometimes the trick comes at 3 am, sometimes it's 4 pm and sometimes it doesn't come at all! They open the gate to my property to come in and then leave the gate open on the way put. What the heck?! I've called and called...I get "unfortunately, we can only tell you what day the truck is coming (yeah, that's not even true) and there is no way to pin down a time", "we saw your dogs outside", "the gate was locked (it does not have a lock on it)" and so on and so forth. Amazingly, they NEVER fail to grab that money from my bank account though. Talking to customer care (bahahaha) is like talking to a brick wall, never any concern just a blah blah excuse. Do yourself a favor if considering TDS, go elsewhere! read more

Lately the deliveries have varied on what time and even if they make a pickup. I pay autopay, today........no pickup. Of course they have a laundry list of reasons: Texas Disposal container yes, Blocked no, Hazardous material no, What time 8am, said they came at 12:08pm. and did not take a picture not had a reason for not picking up. Hopefully they can come back as it is full. We only get pickup once a week so it is a big deal if we get passed over. read more

The folks in the office are a little slow to respond! While the actual trash men do a good job, the office staff needs a few follow up calls, but get around to finishing the job. They are flexible about picking up most items. read more

Missed a payment because autopay didn't work. No notice, no email, no letter, nothing... until trash day when they spray painted my address into my trash cans like some ghetto graffiti art and left my trash. I had to track them down and figure out what happened. read more

These guys are paid to pick up recycling and trash. My guy will not get out of his truck to pick anything next to the can. I had a restoration hardware delivery and consolidated all the smaller boxes into 3 boxes and stacked it by the can at the road. I was not surprised when I got home from work to find them there. I called the office to see if someone could come pick it up. The lady at the office told me the drive took pictures and could not pick it up because each box had to be broken down and stacked. I thought putting it all in 3 boxes and consolidating it was actually helping the driver. From now on I'm going to line the street with every box for that guy to pick up. I'm amazed at how hard people work to not work and their company supports that. I'm petitioning our HOA to switch to a company that will actually pick up the trash at the road when they come out. What an epic waste of fuel and energy to get to the address, take a picture from the truck and leave the boxes. Next week I will have 100 individual boxes for him to pick up. This company just just care about customer service or doing a good job. read more

I wish I could fire these people but our HOA uses them. We are allowed to have two extra trash bags for our pickup but this is the second time they have left one of the bags behind. I'm not sure if you understood that the only reason I began posting my complaint on Yelp and Twitter was after talking to no less than three people on the phone! And frankly it was the flippant and discourteous tone of Blanca on the phone that convinced me I need to resort to social media. Of course we want to try and take care of these problems when they occur quickly and easily, but unfortunately your customer service didn't make that any easier! It seems that we only got someone's attention at Texas Disposal once we started to discuss the problem and history of problems on Yelp and Twitter. Our disposal service managed to skip my home yesterday while picking everyone else's trash within a few blocks each way. I just waited 30 minutes on hold with (2) transfers to be told "tough luck". Leave your garbage can in the street and maybe someone will pick it up after Tuesday (5 days). Now I have to violate our Homeowner's Association's rules and leave my container in the street over the weekend in hopes of a random pick-up to avoid waiting a full week for the next scheduled pick up. It's a complete lack of Customer Service. read more

I was reluctant to go here when I saw the one and a half star rating, these guys deserve way better! So I'm giving them five to try to bump up the average. You should do the same. They are running smooth operation it's totally convenient right in the heart of Bee Cave and you would never even know it's there. They separate everything, recycling is clearly handled differently and then yard waste and landfill, that was what we cared about. The recycling was super cheap too, I only paid two bucks to recycle a van full of cardboard. I'm definitely going back. They deserve more stars!! read more

Let's face it. Picking up trash is simple. It's pretty hard to mess up. Yet TDS managed to somehow screw that up. I wish they collected trash like they collected my money. ON A REGULAR BASIS. They have all these reasons not to collect trash and they bill you extra for missed pickup (doing the thing they were supposed to do in the first place.) It's a scam business model cheating people out of money while not rendering service. Their collectors are the Goldie lox of drivers. Your cans are to far apart? Too bad. too close? Too bad. Lid cracked open? Too bad. Unbelievable. Account terminated. There are other options, do not count on TDS. read more
