I reached out to several cleaning companies in the area on Yelp; Soby's was one of the first to respond and provide a quote that was reasonable and within the range that several others quoted me. Soby's was the most responsive, so I decided to schedule with them. They were very flexible with my weird work schedule, which I greatly appreciated! They came out, walked through the house with me, and got to work. I was expecting one or two people, but they came with a crew! They mean business! They even put dishes away, which I did not expect, and I keep laughing at the fact that they tried to organize our pantry, which is a colossal mess. But it looks better than it ever has! Unfortunately, I neglected to point out a few things in the house that I have been wanting cleaned, but that's my fault; I'll review it with them when they come back out. They used left over materials for my condo renovation. Even simple requests suddenly became "too expensive," which made the process feel misleading and inconsistent. The quality of the work does not reflect the money I paid. The job was definitely rushed, many important details were left incomplete, and the results did not match what was promised. Concerns I raised--such as mold issues and specific finish requests like quartz countertops--were dismissed or avoided, and nothing was handled with the level of professionalism I expected. To make matters worse, one of my front screen doors went missing during the project and was never addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel the work performed did not justify the cost, their communication was unreliable, and their business practices lacked integrity. I strongly encourage others to choose a different contractor.
