Well this was one of the worst cleaning experiences I have ever had. We booked this company for a move out clean + a one room carpet cleaning at high prices. They were set to arrive at 10am to complete services. I booked early because I am moving cross country and need to start my drive. Cleaners arrived at 10am not prepared to do the carpet clean. They said they did not know about it even though the day previous we had contacted the company to verify that they knew about the carpet clean. We were told on the call that they would arrive at 10am. The dispatcher told me that the carpet cleaning crew would be here later, at 1pm. Well, now its 2pm and no one is here plus the company cannot even give an ETA somehow? The clean itself, was less than average. I had to vacuum again after the cleaners left because they used a budget consumer grade vacuum that left virtually everything on the carpets. Then, I had to clean baseboards throughout home because they were not touched. If it wasn't for the lack of service and being 4 hours+ late, I would have probably given the clean a 3, however, there seems to be no way to contact anyone that knows anything. I would have loved to pick another company to fulfill these services but its too late now. read more

The service, when provided, is adequate. The issue is that they take your money the day before they show up. When the person does not show up, try getting your money back! I had service scheduled for Jan. 30. I was apprised that the person coming had an emergency and would not come. No one did. They sent an email asking me to rate the service! It never happened. I am still trying to get back the payment they took. Sometimes they come, sometimes they don't, sometimes they let you know. Always they take the money. read more

Crooks! They charged me the day before they were scheduled to come clean for the first time. On the day of, they didn't call to let me know they were running late. After an hour, I called and they were still 30+ minutes from coming. That didn't work with my schedule any more, so I cancelled service. I also cancelled further services. They charged me again the following month and didn't show. It has been absolutely awful trying to get someone to help me get a refund. The lied to me repeatedly saying the refunded me, but after 6 months, I still haven't gotten my $475 back. I had to call my bank and report a fraudulent charge. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The two people who showed up came to work! We left the house and when we came back we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of work that had been done. Not only did they clean; They made the bed, cleaned the coffee maker, organized some of the random things left out that didn't have a home. On top of that they were in and out in just under 2 hours. Great! Great! Great! Worth every penny! The two ladies that came out today (our first service - deep cleaning) were incredible! Top to bottom, our house is spotless, all 2,800 square feet of it. They were very thorough. I did pay extra for the oven and fridge to be cleaned. Worth it. Please note this is a formal business; not a mom and pop or single person cleaning service. There is a price for the cleaning, taxes and processing fees - which is charged the evening BEFORE your service. They said it was a hold, but it still comes out of your account. Taxes and fees are part of doing business in Texas for cleaning and janitorial services per the Texas Comptroller. Look it up if you need to, I did! The worst cleaning job I've ever had for a very steep price. They Sent one person who couldn't speak any English and was unable to communicate. We tried using an app to translate but she was unable to understand my instructions. She Didn't dust a lot of the furniture. Didn't clean the kitchen sink and left dirty dishes in the sink. Those are just a few things that were not done. I had to go back and do lots of cleaning after. I will never use this company again. She was able to communicate via the translation app that the tip I paid online in advance would not go to her and that the company keeps that. I actually felt bad for her because she was set up for failure and not given proper training. read more

I think they do not train the cleaners to perform the tasks listed (even though the website says they do). That's not the cleaners' fault. . Then the charges started coming through. . I have had 3 regular cleans (they never did a deep clean). I was quoted $168.30 for my whole house (and they don't have to clean three of the bedrooms). . $921.84 = total billed against my bank card $504.9 = what I agree to ($168.3 * 3) $416.94 = TOTAL OVERCHARGE . I have asked about this overcharge, and they offered a partial refund. Seriously? Um--not acceptable. They really never got serious about the issue until I posted my review. . Finally they sent a "receipt" for a full refund, which the bank never received. I followed up, and TCS hasn't responded. My husband hired this company to come out and they sent 1 person who was awesome but was supposed to only do a "standard clean" plus an oven. On the initial phone call he quoted one price of $160 but then he charged my card $312.90 and set it up for reoccurring charges. Seriously for 4 hours! My house is pretty clean regardless because I am a person that likes to clean before the cleaning service comes in. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE and don't give them your credit card to make charges!!! I feel completely scammed and now will have to deal with fraudulent charges. Update: Jacob made it right when my husband talked to him. Not sure why we were overcharged but my house was clean and he made it right with us in the end so I am grateful. Do not use this company if you want your house to be cleaned. I paid $359.66 for a move out cleaning, which was supposed to have a 50 point cleaning process. They were supposed to clean baseboards, kitchen, bathroom etc. Since the house was empty they thought that I wouldn't check to see if they had cleaned it. Nothing was done! I asked for a refund, I did not receive it. I filed a complaint with the BBB, they said that they would issue me a refund. That was in June, it is now August and I still haven't received the refund. Horrible! They stole our money! We scheduled in advance for a move-out cleaning. They canceled last minute - left me stuck the day before I was to hand over the keys to the new homeowners. I spent hours that day desperately looking for a last-minute cleaning service after they left us hanging. The worst part of it is that several months later I am STILL TRYING TO GET MY REFUND!!! We paid $379.95 in September and still no refund! This is the worst experience I've had with any business ever! No one should risk their time or money dealing with this place! We have received HORRIBLE service from this company. Now, we provided pictures and videos to show the aftermath, but the most frustrating part of this whole process has been trying to get in touch with the general manager Adam and have this situation resolved. We were promised a refund over 10 days ago, and have YET to receive it. Conveniently, every time we try to call the office, our call is ignored and when it is answered, Adam is "not in the office." We received a text from Adam stating we would receive a refund, but again, we have not received anything and Adam will not return our calls or texts. ***If you filter through the 1 star reviews on here and check the reviews on BBB, you will see there are many similar stories. Found TCS down the list a bit and since only one review at the time I almost breezed by. But when I started using the multi quote thru Yelp Jacob got back to me with pricing and availability in about 30 seconds. Easy to book/schedule on the web site and great appointment confirmation and follow up. Amelia was 5 min early and didn't miss a spot. She was very friendly and extremely competent. This was a move out cleaning and after seeing their work and getting a sense if their customer service mentality - I will use TCS on a regular basis for the new home I just moved in to. Save your time and money - their service is horrible. I paid for a deep clean and got a less than general clean. Two young ladies were here less than 1 1/2 hours and were practically running to their car, loading up supplies to leave. I had them come back twice to clean where they missed then they left while I was still pointing out other areas. I'm very happy with Texas Cleaning Services. I came home to a wonderful smelling and clean home. They were very detailed. The blinds were clean. Tile was as clean as it's been in years, lol. The two ladies that came were very sweet and I will request them specifically next time. They left cute little folds on tissue and toilet paper that my son just adored. After calling the office they gave me the run around with excuses of saying the cleaners was stuck in traffic to they are On the way, to They are finishing about her home, and more and more Excuses. I originally gave this a one star review. Jacob however was extremely helpful and understanding. I left a review and within a hour he had already gotten back to me. He was very helpful and quick to get the issue resolved!!!i am very satisfied with the way he handled things to make the situation right. They have been amazing up until today. The people I normally have come out to My Home could not come out due to a family emergency for the last couple of days which is totally understandable. So instead they send this woman out who's name is HEATHER SMITH Who also works for their company. I was suppose to get Basic cleaning done witch is vacuuming wiping down flat surfaces dusting etc. when it came to dusting there were several spots she missed in the living room/dining room every ceiling fan and shelving units. I politely pointed them out and she got very upset with me and told me that she would not go back to fix it, at that point I had to call the company and speak to the boss in order for her to listen in for things to be done right. Things started to go a little better at that point until she started using nothing but straight vinegar to clean the house with which is very overpowering in smell. I asked her please not to use straight vinegar and if she didn't have anything else I would supply her with other supplies it was burning my throat and giving me a severe headache it just smelt absolutely horrible. I approach her and politely asked her at that point about not using it because I already asked her when she first came she got mad and very defensive once again. I highly would not recommend Heather Smith to come clean your house you should have anybody sent out other than her and to top it off she also broke my Cooke jar and told be to glue it back together!! It was not the fact that she broke it, it was the comet.Last but not least she moves every thing and dose not put nothing back she leaves it for you to do. It was just a nightmare. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK HERE! I hired Texas Cleaning Services to clean my home. I was not able to be present at the time of the cleaning, and they assured me this would not be an issue. When I returned after the cleaning was finished, my curtains were missing and so was ALL of the toilet paper that had been in my home (weird, right?). I called to ask about it to see if I could get the stolen items returned to me and they told me that the manager would call me back that day. He never called. I tried calling the service back continually and was strung along for days. No one seemed to be concerned that I was stolen from, and they refused to provide a refund or reimbursement of any sort. read more
