We were heading to Kiowa casino and saw this little gem as we drove by and stated "next time we're going to stop". We are huge fans of beef jerky, but admittedly not just any beef jerky. We're kinda picky. The next time came and as we were driving up we pulled off and toured this little place. There was beef jerky everywhere...and sauces and jellies and homemade fried pies and a cafe full of people. We just got one packet of their original beef jerky which turned out to be a HUGE mistake. As we drove off we dug in to what turned out to be mouth watering goodness. Super tasty. Delicious. THE perfect snack. Next time we purchased 10 packets. Another mistake it didn't last long. I placed an order for 30 packets to ship to my home and it literally arrived in a couple of days. I plan on sharing "some" with friends. They threw in a package of cured smoked beef sticks and can't wait to try them. The folks there are the nicest people! Sweet and informative. Hats off to their shipping folks as well! This was NOT a good choice! 1 barbecue sandwich with two sides (beans and mashed potatoes), drink; 1 plate with four sides and drink was $38 and change! For what we got, it was VERY expensive and the food was horrible! My four sides, greens, corn, broccoli-rice casserole, green beans, the only thing that was good was the corn and broccoli-rice casserole. The green beans were shriveled up and dry and the greens were bad! Don't even think about stopping here to eat! read more

Based only on their advertised three dollar bbq sandwich. Arrived at 11:55am. There were 3 other customers and only one person working everything. Felt bad for her. The sandwich. The meat tasted boiled. No smoke flavor. The meat was very sponge like. The splash of greasy tomato sauce added nothing to the taste. The bun was cold and soggy from the meat and mystery sauce. Stopped in this place yesterday afternoon on our way to Whichita Falls, Tx because we saw the signs for beef jerky, which my husband absolutely loves. So we didn't eat lunch there but instead bought some beef jerky and a little loaf of blueberry bread. Absolutely the best beef jerky I have ever had!! My husband likes his jerky to be really hard and almost crunchy which I on the other hand like mine to be more soft but not too chewy. It is exactly in the middle, not too hard but not too soft either. It's like pieces of steak that was cut just right and cooked with the right amount of flavoring then dried for the perfect amount of time. They have thin sliced and thick slices jerky as well as regular or spicy. If you like beef jerky, you should try it yourself and see if it is what you like, you just might be surprised and like it. Oh, and the blueberry loaf is good too!!! Might actually try lunch next time we stop by. The people working there were really nice and helpful in showing us what they had available, I didn't even look that closely at what else they had in the front display case. Had I seen homemade fudge I would've bought some. . It's a interesting place, looks like a old country store/small town restaurant with a small town charm to it. read more

After pulling off the road, my mom and I debated going in with the baby. It looks a little sketchy from the outside but the inside is adorable and probably the best brisket burrito I've ever had. My husband and I stopped here on one of our weekend drives. My husband really wanted to stop by and get some jerky. The lady working was very nice and friendly. She said that the fudge and jerky were make by them so we decided we would try them. I got the vanilla chocolate fudge. It was very good and tasted homemade. It was not hard or anything. I hate when fudge gets hard. I would like to try the one with nuts next time. My husband got the mesquite BBQ jerky and he liked it as well. I am not huge on jerky but it was pretty good. It was hard at first but once you start to chew it it softens up and all the flavor comes out. We would for sure stop here again if we are in the area. read more
