The macaroni salad was delightful as were the beans. The bread they served wasn't plain dry white bread like some places so that was good. The coleslaw was simple and refreshing. The staff was pleasant but I don't think I saw Mr. Prine. It's a walk-in joint so there is no dining area, which I'm okay with. We were in and out with our food to go in about six minutes. Food was below subpar, very dry ribs they pulled from the fridge and stuck in the microwave along with most of the other meats. The Carnitas bowl is 100% gluten free and is delish. We stopped here for lunch on our way up to Oklahoma from Texas, and I got the Pick 2 with Squash Soup. They substituted the bread for an apple. Liked it so much that we stopped again on our way home, and this time I paired the carnitas bowl with the potato soup. My husband got the lasagna soup both times and liked it. The manager at this location runs a tight ship and she has hired some seniors to work the restaurant, which I found lovely. It's got a great vibe, the staff was super friendly both times, and truly helpful when I told them I was gluten-free. Highly recommend, and we will be back!

Our drinks arrived fairly quickly, but then we waited 15-20 minutes before our server came back to take our order, even though the restaurant didn't seem very busy. The biggest disappointment was the salad. There was an upcharge for it, but it was mostly lettuce with a few shredded carrots. It definitely didn't feel worth the extra cost. I ordered the chopped brisket. The portion size was generous, and the brisket itself had great flavor. The only issue was that there was quite a bit of fat mixed in with the meat, more than I would have preferred. Overall, the food had some good qualities, but the slow service and disappointing salad made the experience less enjoyable than it should have been.

First off, two words, DIPPED CHICKEN!! You are not doing this chicken right if you don't get it "dipped". A super tasty spicy juicy sauce. It goes perfect on the chicken and just as tasty on the Livers & Gizards. If you don't get it dipped, the flaky crust breading is still delicious! The other bonus ... their menu here features some popular Korean dishes too. You can get Beef Bulgogi, Chicken Bulgogi, and Pork Bulgogi. Their Pork Bulgogi being my favorite! They all come as a plate with Vegetable Fried Rice or Steamed White Rice, along with two Yakimandu. You can't go wrong with one (or two if extra hungry) of these Bulgogi plates. Service is always spot on and fairly quick. There's an occasional minor hold up, but it's only because there doing it up fresh. The atmosphere is a bit of an old building, but she keeps it clean inside. Landlord won't do any updates. Im sharing the Korean food pics this time. Some of my Chicken might be in the gallery from years past, if not, I'll get some up soon.
