I came in for some lettuce, which they did not have. My son wanted a snow cone, which is posted on the side of the building, but was unable to get one. We were told that the machine was not turned on. It was around 2:45, and 90 degrees outside. We came to support, but there was nothing we could get, which was unfortunate. They do have some flavored pickles available.

Today's special was the Garlic Desperado Burger, with a side and tea for $12. I went with that as my first choice, as like many others, I love Garlic!! I opted for the Onion Rings and an extra side of Potato Salad. My second choice, to take home for later, was definitely the Oklahoma Onion Burger, along with Tator Tots and an extra side of Cole Slaw. The wait for the food was not long, as only a handful of us were here. I've heard while they're slammed at lunch they're able to keep up quite well. The Garlic Burger arrives on Texas Garlic Toast, first bite is a true kick of Garlic overload, and delicious! The meat is a 'smashed' 6oz patty and has a great flavor. I had both my burgers done with double meat and double cheese. The Onion Rings were done just right. I have always been very picky about Potato Salad, and this version is just right, reminded me of my Mom's. The Onion Burger is a real treat, especially if you're familiar with what is known as an "Oklahoma" Onion Burger. Upon placement this one looked better than any I've had in OKC or Reno. Once I got a bite in it, it just melted on my buds and was perfection. Tots are tots, hard to mess those up. Another tastebud treat on this visit was the Cole Slaw. In the last 60-ish years of my life, I have not been a Cole Slaw fan at all. Guess the "tries" over the lifetime I got the shitty ones. Just the last year or two I've been braving the attempts to taste it anew. The recipe here is spot on. I find myself thinking I could make a meal out of big bowl of this one. The atmosphere here is great, very clean, and Grace was a real joy as she kept checking on me. The owners, Ricky & Kimberly have done a great job. I have some fond memories of this building from back in our high school years when Ray Ono's family had a Pizza joint we frequented here. Will absolutely be returning.

It's…read morenot what you might expect - it's not a meat market as such; there are no grocery-style glass display cases, rather, once you find your way inside the "facility" and knock on the door, you're welcomed and escorted into a big room where they bring out boxes of already packaged (cryovac'd) frozen selections of meat they've prepared from cattle raised there on the ranch. It's not grocery-store economy or even bulk priced; there's a premium for being able to get something of this quality. We have now tried the ground beef, rump roast, top sirloin steak and stew meat and it's some of the best beef we've ever encountered and the staff is authentic Texas-style nice to deal with, too. True it's way out in Henrietta and it's not all that easy to get to - and Google maps hasn't caught up with the fact that the road you have to turn onto off Hwy 82 has had a name change. The Google map shows the road as "Centennial" parkway but the street signage has been changed to the name of the local High School team - "Bearcat" drive (their stadium is just up the road). Once you get on the right road and head north, the turn off takes you onto a few minutes of well-graded dirt/gravel driving and you pull up to a big metal warehouse. (BTW - the view is spectacular - you can see why the ranch house is situated nearby.) The best news is if you don't want to spend that much time getting there, you can order off the web site with very reasonably-priced shipment to the DFW area. But if you want to shop and select the specific package from several in the boxes you'll want to take the time to visit - just make sure you check the schedule on the web site first and bring a big ice chest. We'll definitely go again and stock up if we're headed up in the Wichita Falls direction but we'll order online and have it delivered until then.

We were thrilled that we were able to visit the store today and we felt immediately welcomed and offered samples, Gary was a real treat. He was generous and informative on what he was offering us to sample, he cared about our flavor interest and took the time to make sure we found a few new flavors to love.
