The single worst experience with any business in my entire life. It's been a few years since I've been there, but I still remember it vividly to this day. I waited in the lobby for someone to acknowledge my existence. The staff would be talking with someone, then disappear into the back. Tired of waiting, I had to harass someone, "Hey can you help me, I've been waiting for a long time". Finally one guy helped me, but seemed really annoyed that I was bothering him. But he worked up an order to re-upholster my truck. It took a few weeks for them to finish. They never called me. I had to repeatedly call them and keep checking if they were done. The leather seats weren't filled great. For the floor carpet, they didn't remove the old carpet. They were THAT lazy, and just glued new carpet on top of the old. Talk about cutting corners. Do yourself a favor and avoid this trash institution. read more

Pretty impressed with this place! Spoke with Jose about getting a sunroof installed. He said it took 3 days. The problem is I don't live in Texas. I was there temporarily for work and rental were scarce and hard to find. He had me drop my car off and had it done NEXT DAY. I appreciate that he did that for me. read more

They installed Katzkin cooled and heated leather seats. The cooling doesn't work at all. They shrugged and said not their problem and if I want my vehicle I'd have to sign their work order. Now I'm working with another shop to correct whatever it is they screwed up. I would not recommend this place to anyone else. It's also dirty, gross and in a horrible neighborhood. read more

Been going here for years. Deal with Jose. Never had any issues...until now. Took my brand new f15 with 15 miles on the odometer to have some add-ons. Asked him specifically if the spray on bed liner was done there. Was told yes. I go to pick up my truck and it has 50 MILES ON IT. I called Jose. He then proceeds to tell my the bedliner is farmed out!! He said it's done about 5 miles away. Ok, so 10 miles RT. Still...a lie about services and now cannot answer to how the 35 miles were put on it. He called the company that does the work. The lady couldn't explain. Jose tried giving me her phone number. TEXAS AUTO TRIM SHOULD BE DOING THE RESEARCH. DON'T PASS IT OFF TO THE CUSTOMER!! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!! Not sure what, if any recourse I have. If I could give zero stars to this business I would. I went to fix my sunroof and Jose was very unprofessional. I went to a warranty for a sunroof because my sunroof flew away on the middle of the freeway and he said ", well you have to call the company and tell them your sunroof flew away and you almost killed somebody" I was speechless how he said that like a human life has no value, and it made me think of, what if that person was me with my kids inside of the car, like we could all die in a car accident like that's not a problem at all. read more

I want to give this place zero stars because Gary (I assume that's his name? Not sure what I heard him say because I was so upset.) I also assume he's the owner/manager? Either way he is an awfully mean and rude person. I went in this morning to see if they could install a navigation system in my vehicle and when I spoke to Jose (who was the only nice person there) he wasn't sure, so he grabbed "Gary". I don't know much about cars so of course I'm going to bring it to a professional. I told him exactly that and I chuckled while saying it. He literally said to me in the rudest tone "This is NOT a laughing matter! I don't understand why you're laughing right now. This is a VERY hard project. This will take 6 hours of work!!" ...first of all, this is part of your job. Second, to be so nasty to a young girl who came to you for help and you decided to be rude and ugly about it just doesn't sit right with me. Seeing the rest of the poor reviews on this page about theft and not doing their due diligence makes a lot of sense. I will be taking my navigation system elsewhere to be installed because "Gary" was so unprofessional and rude to the point where he actually made me cry. If you can't do something, then that's totally understandable. Just say that and be professional about it. Don't be ugly to your customers and then complain about how much work it's going to take. Unprofessional...I have spent over $5,000 at this place 5 years ago, I got wheels and tires, leather interior and everything. Jaime was the gentlemen that helped me. He has since left and I see why. Alex is one of the salespeople and his professionalism is not on par to say the least. He had to order a part for me that wasn't in stock and told me it would be there in 2 days. I called him in 2 days he said it wasn't there, call back the following week. After calling 3 times the next week because he didn't know what day it would come in, he finally said he would have to order the part again. I know things happen, but never did he call me to be proactive on giving me information, never did he apologize for the inconvenience. Not to mention his attitude when I got there inititally wasn't good at all. They are not friendly and welcoming at all. read more

The door trim on my Land Rover Discovery had become worn and the only options would be replace the door panel or find someone who specialized in auto interior work. Not only was I happy with the price but they did an excellent job. The showroom has a great selection of aftermarket wheels/rims as well as side steps for trucks. Very pleased with Texas Auto Trim. They worked on our 2006 Grand Cherokee to repair the headliner. Not only did they do a great job, they also performed a recall repair on the moon roof. And to boot, they vacuumed the interior. The final charge was exactly what Jose said it would be--no upsell or upcharge. read more

Very pleased! Great honest people! After a bad experience at Ramys garage we took my moms car here to have the sunroof replaced since the sunroof flew off. Ramys was trying to charge us 800 when the honest people at Texas Auto Trim told us that there was a recall on those sunroofs do everything was free. The replacement only took 30 min and they have a nice waiting area with a tv and vending machine. I will recommend these people to anyone! read more

They did a decent job on the leather install but I am aggravated that they stole my iPod out of my truck. I know I should have remembered to take it so there is no getting around the fact that it is my fault for forgetting about it but I think the fact that one of their crew stole it is a reflection on the integrity level of their employees. read more

I am extremely pleased with the Katzin leather interior that was installed in my 01 Silverado. Color is an exact match & fit is perfect. Also an outstanding job on installing the new carpet. The only complaint I have is that it took a day longer than expected, but since it''s not my primary vechicle it was not a big deal. Overall I could not be happier. read more

Worst place to do business with. They have now left me stranded without my truck twice. Promised to have it back by a certain time and did not deliver on that promise. First time was 2 hours late. This time they are an hour late and the truck still isn't here. Because of them being late last time they offered to do a bumper swap I needed done on top of the work that needed to be corrected from last time. When I called the GM because they were late again he said I will never be happy and I should've done the bumper swap myself and it's my fault they are late. So when they promise to fix the work that they messed up last time PLUS do something extra because THEY messed up, just know they will find a way to make it a horrible experience again. "No charge" - music to anyone's ears! I had been having issues with my sunroof not fully closing on my 2010 Ford Fusion. Lots of wind noise. My trusted mechanic, Joe's Auto Repair on Stella Link, could not fix it and referred me to Texas Auto Trim. I walked in at 4 pm after picking up my car at Joe's (for struts and mounts - great but expensive job). I just wanted everything fixed! The guy at the counter immediately took the car and got it closed in 30 minutes. He called another place to get an estimate on what it would cost down the road to fix it...$1500, but the dealer had quoted me over $2,000! Dealers are always more expensive, I know. I'd gone in to have a recalled item replaced & got a quote on the sunroof. I just wanted it to close, which this guy did. I pulled out my credit card, thinking $50 - $100. "No charge"! I didn't even get his name & had no cash on me to give him a tip, so I'm writing this review and will gift him with $50 tomorrow. Thank you, Texas Auto Trim!! read more
