I disliked the black roof on my Porsche. Paxtor swapped it for a red one. Looks like perfect work to me. All done in under a day, on a Saturday! read more

Paxtor Auto Upholstery - This quiet, capable man knows convertible tops and does 'top' work! - Auto Upholstery Near Me - Houston, Texas

I was shopping reviews, to see which shop did a good job on automobile headliners. The headliner over the rear seat area on my Acura had become loose and needed repair. I came upon Paxtor Upholstery as a place that had pretty good reviews. I stopped by their shop, and they took a look and gave me a quote. I brought the car over to them the next day, and they had it all done, just after 1:00PM. The headliner looked brand new, the color matched, and everything worked, including my sunroof. They did a fantastic job!!! I would definitely go back to them for other auto upholstery work. read more

Had the interior carpet on my Impala installed. Quick turnaround and done very well. I brought back a second vehicle to have the roof and visors covered. Again quick turnaround and good work done. I was able to nit pick a few small things but nothing that takes away from the overall look and function. I am going to bring another vehicle to them because overall they do great work. Oh make sure you have cash. But they do accept debit/credit cards read more

After seeing lots of good reviews, I brought my motorcycle seat to be modified and recovered. I explained what I wanted to Jose and said he understood what I wanted. What I received the next day way a seat that had all the foam removed except for 1/2 inch and then recovered. The job was done by someone I never spoke to and obviously had no clue what I wanted. Then they told me that they don't have that type of foam to attempt to fix it. Basically, I'm left with a ruined seat. If you just want a seat recovered, probably will do a good job, but if you want it modified, go somewhere else. I wish I had. read more

They did an amazing transformation on my Custom C-6 Convertible Corvette....Thank you Shampu *****

They replaced the headliner on my Porsche Panamera for a fraction of the cost that the dealer wanted. I went in hoping for a repair but the price was so good to replace I opted for that. It was ready in 3 hours and I was amazed how professional it was. I highly recommend Paxtor! read more

I usually don't leave reviews but this place definitely deserves it. I had another place quote me $450+ to replace my headliner and this place saved me nearly $250 and replaced in less than 3 hours! I can't thank them enough. Initially I wanted to ignore the headliner issue till it became a safety concern and started affecting my ability to see my rearview mirror. Definitely will consider coming back to have some leather seats installed in the near future. read more

My son delivers pizzas with my second car. It is a work car. But, it desperately needed a headliner. Paxtor gave me the lowest quote and next day service. They did a great job and now it looks brand new. My son said, "I didn't notice it". Well, guess what, you're not supposed to notice a headliner... unless you really look. read more

They did impeccable work on my 2010 Honda Pilot. The lining on my center console and by the door was shriveled and ripped and they made it look new again. The color was a perfect match and made such a difference in the interior appearance. No one else in Houston could come close to the price either. It was done EXTREMELY fast too. I cannot speak highly enough about Paxtor Auto. I will recommend them to any and everyone. read more

High quality Excellent workmanship and price! I would have given a 5 star if the second employee we worked with didn't try and change the original price quoted. read more

The headliner in my Porsche Cayman had fallen and it needed replaced. After receiving quotes from 3 different repair shops, I chose Paxtor due to the lowest price. The headliner and side pillars were completed in less than a day and, although I had to clean the interior and windows of glue, the new headliner looked brand new. However, after a few days, I realized my key fob was not working correctly. After troubleshooting, I realized the antenna was not receiving the fob signal unless it was within inches of the windshield. Instead of going back to Paxtor, I took it to my regular repair shop and learned that two cables had been damaged in the upholstery repair, specifically in the side pillar. The cost to repair the cables made the overall cost to reupholster the headliner greater than the cost of the quote by my normal repair shop. My point is that this is a delicate repair job and the lowest and fastest quote is not necessarily the best. read more

Wonderful shop, they redid my Mercedes seats in the same day. I highly recommend this place.

Great work from Jose and team!! They exceeded my expectations on the replacement of my headliner. Highly recommended!!

Wow!!! Three hours and a great price is exactly what I got. Don't let the look of the place fool you. These guys were courteous, fast and extremely affordable. I had my car headliner completely failing down and they replaced it with factory color and smoothed it to look like new! Extremely impressed and will use them again if the need calls for it. read more

This place is really tight and small, but don't be turned off by the way it looks. These guys were recommended to us by a friend and they do a solid, reasonably priced job. Last time they reupholstered a piece of furniture. This is the second time we've used them -- to reupholster my husbands car seat --and find them to be hardworking, honest people. read more

Paxtor Auto Upholstery - Entrance - Auto Upholstery Near Me - Houston, Texas

I took my 2010 Lexus convertible in to have seats recovered; Seatbelts replaced; and carpet replaced. I was charged $2500 for the work. In good faith I paid what I owed. Shortly afterwards I noticed the quality of the workmanship was not Lexus quality. The tension in my seatbelts had to be adjusted; because there was no tension. And last but not least my air conditioner went out! I took my vehicle to Lexus for diagnostics. I was informed that because the carpeting had been installed incorrectly; too much excess carpet got tangled up in the gears of my air-conditioning system destroying my entire air-conditioning unit! Now it has been determined that it will cost $6000 to replace my air conditioning system! I called the owner, and asked for their insurance information. I was told by Paxtor that he had no insurance. So; a $2500 job ended up costing me $6000 plus the $2500 I paid for the work; with what appears to be no recourse. I'm going to get an attorney and he's going to pay for my car to be fixed. He says that he did not destroy my AC; although Lexus has photos of BLACK carpet all in between the gears. (My original carpet was white.) Lexus told me not to allow them to try to replace the carpet because he could bring more damage to my air-conditioning unit, and my vehicle. I would recommend that when you pay high dollar for your vehicle; which is an investment; Always consider; you get what you pay for. I had never, ever had a problem with my vehicle before now. My rating for this company is a ZERO. I truly do not think he is aware of what he has done; but he will soon find out. Karen J. Carter read more

Had carpet installed in my convertible Lexus Installed incorrectly; excess left behind panel. Destroyed my entire ac unit Took vehicle to Lexus for diagnostics; determined that they left adhesive all over my gas pedal which was a major safety hazard as well Cost to repair ac; 5800.00 I had to immediately have gas pedal replaced; for safety I was told by Lexus tech that once glue dried; my car could stick in the drive position which could result in an accident The company was Paxtor Auto Upholstery They told me that they were the company that did all of Sterling McCalls upholstery repairs and replacements This was not true I am seeking damages for my ac and damages for having to replace my gas pedal. This occurred in May. I have been without air since that time. This occurred in Houston, Tx Paxtor states that he has no insurance. How can one run a business without insurance. Is there a way I can find out if he has insurance? I had absolutely no problems with my vehicle before that ruined my ac They have refused to pay for damages; but did agree to refund my money for the carpet installation. I have reported this incident to BBB and OAG All information can be verified by Service Manager at Sterling McCall Lexus Houston; Tx I need to file a claim for damages and my inconvenience to get my ac repaired. read more

Got my headliner replaced - the price was reasonable compared to other quotes I received and the work looks great. I didn't have a ride so I told them I was going to wait for it and walk around. This is a smaller place- do not let the size fool you! They do excellent work. We took our car here to have the headliner replaced. The work was excellent, and the price was much better than the competitor's quotes we received. The work was also completed quickly, and we had our car back faster than we expected to. We definitely recommend Paxtor when you need this type of work done! read more
