I was pleasantly described to receive a clean car without clutter or glass shards upon retrieving my car. If you don't have a ride to pick you up and drop you off, there's a waiting room with comfortable couches and a water station inside. I had stopped by here almost two years ago when I was shopping around for a car tint (I decided to go somewhere else because I didn't want to go with llumar) but I remember having a good experience here because Corey (the owner - the person that I had talked to the first time around, and again this time around) didn't do any hard sell. I asked him questions, he answered them and gave me prices which I thought were reasonable. Like I said, this time around I wanted a basic security system with no fancy features like paging or a remote with a fancy screen. Corey showed me three different systems with similar features but different brands (Avital and Viper, both under the DEI company; and Prestige). I decided to go with the Prestige brand because this was the second most affordable system (by only $10) but it had, what in my opinion, the coolest looking remote. Corey told me that it would take about 1.5 hours for the install but I wasn't too worried about that because I don't live too far from here. I told him to just give me a call when the car's done and I'd come pick it up. The actual time it took until I received the phone call was 2.5 hours which was an hour longer than expected. However, like I mentioned, I wasn't concerned about it since I was chilling at home binging on Frasier anyway. Once Corey called me to tell me that my car was ready, I went back to pick it up. After I had paid for the system, Corey walked outside to my car with me and showed me the basic features of the system that had just been installed. However, since it was a pretty basic system, there wasn't really anything much to show. I'm probably just going to go through the manual to see if there's any additional features that the system offers. Anyway, I recommend this place if you need a security system. It's true what others had said, they don't have a million different products in the store, but what they do offer, Corey will stand behind those products. Also, prices are competitive. At the very least, drop in to see what they have to offer since Corey won't push you for a sale anyway. What do you have to lose?

Looking for window tinting or PPF (paint protection film for the noobies, it protects your car's…read morepaint from little pebbles, bird poop, etc.)? This humble shop has got you literally covered! They have different colors of PPF wraps (so you can change the color of your car too instead of a clear film!) including matte colors. Our friends went to other places and had their taillights broken, decals placed out of alignment, and suffered through some other headaches. Although those are usually relatively easily fixable, I expect a higher quality job after dishing out $$ for PPF services. We've had a couple of cars worked on over the years, and compared to some other more popular places that churn out their numbers, the William, Josue, and their team at Houston PPF do a great job and are more responsible in terms of fixing anything (even tiny bubbles) that you're unhappy with without question. I got my own car covered with PPF + tinted windows more than a year ago and I'm super happy with the job! There were some tiny bubbles on pickup but after the car baked in the sun for a week, they resolved. I also noticed a few tiny spots that could be improved where the PPF wasn't sticking so well, and they redid it with smiles and professionalism. Awesome! You can bring your entire car or just parts (diffusers, spoilers, etc) to get protected. Just to note-- emails aren't their thing-- they are more responsive to instagram messages! And if you have a lower car, watch out when turning into their slightly angled driveway! The team there is awesome! Really respect them for their work ethic and quality work. We will continue to use them for PPF needs. Check them out! :)

Made an appointment with Josue for a Thursday 10am drop off time. I drove 4 hours from Dallas and so glad I did. He looked over my car and carefully explained to me his process. I could tell he knew what he was doing. As he answered my questions regarding the installation procedure and the quality of the tint. And also the legal issue with law enforcement and how it can enhance the look of my car. But most importantly, the health benefit of not being exposed to UV lights on my skin. I went and ate lunch. It took him about 5 hours to complete the job. Very understandable, as the Model 3 got a glass roof. I didn't said anything, but he is such a perfectionist, that he knock off a few bucks for taking too long. Who does this?!? Most guys want to take money away from me and here is Josue giving me a discount. That is the character of this business owner. The car turned out awesome. When driving back to Dallas (3pm), I could feel the car being cooler. I only wished I got my PPF done here too. But driving on the highway from Dallas to Houston would be too much of a risk for rock and shit to hit my car. Which would have happened as there were constructions everywhere. If you need PPF or window tint, I would highly recommend Houston PPF and Josue.
