I called and made an appointment. He said he only takes cash or zelle which also did not bother me. I showed up five minutes before the time and walked to the door. I pulled on it and it was locked. I looked to see an "open" sign or light or anything and pulled again. I started to walk back to my car and the door opens and he looks at me and says "why did you pull on my door like that?". I said "I have an appointment". He said "you did not have to pull on my door like that". No "good morning" no "thank you for coming to get work done" just straight confrontation. THIS IS AN HONEST BUSINESSMAN RIGHT HERE!!! Where do I begin. I am so glad we found this place searching here on Yelp. Well my boyfriend needed tint on his car. The heat was just unbearable for me. Well I got in touch with the owner who is a very cool and honest businessman. So let me start my long story... So we made an appointment for a Thursday morning. I brought the car over. He started on it, but had to stop. He stated that he really does not do cars bought at CarMax and showed me why. Well, the car obviously had previous tint on it, but the dealership removes tint. They did a PISS POOR job. He showed me the scratches on his windows. They were deep scratches. You could tell someone was scraping something off the windows. He taught me a lot about how the Jaguars have a protective coating on their windows and CarMax damaged it. He values his work and told me that the tint would not come out right. We could see where it was already starting to bubble because of the deep scratches. Well we talked for some minutes and he left the tint on the back small windows. We discussed waiting over the weekend to see how the tint stays. So we rescheduled for the following Monday, but for me to drop it off and leave it so he can thoroughly work on finishing removing the left over residue CarMax left behind. Well come Monday, the smaller windows were fine and we proceeded as planned. He kept in constant communication with us throughout the process of me first bringing the car to him. The final results were wonderful. My boyfriend was very pleased with the results. I have already referred a few people and bookmarked this place under my car care section. read more
