There are no words to fully express our gratitude to Texas Adoption Center. Our son's birth mom is the heroine of our lives, the strongest and most brave and loving person. We would have never met her if it wasn't for TAC. We get to hold our precious, miraculous son in our arms each day because of her and the caring team that brings families together at TAC. From our first phone conversations with Kaitlyn and Stacey, we felt so welcomed and encouraged that our 15-year dream of becoming parents could come true. We were impressed not only by their compassion and personal touch, but also the professionalism of the entire organization. From the processes for submitting documents online to obtaining all fingerprint and background clearances to creating a family photo portfolio, they are extremely organized and clear about what to do and how to accomplish the thorough process. During the matching process, we felt the communications were always clear, organized, and provided helpful information to get to know the child and their family. When we were matched, Stacey helped us every step of the way from travel information, getting set up on an app to share photos from the first day on, which meant a great deal to our son's mom and to us, and making our first doctor's appointment just a few minutes from our hotel. She called throughout the first days and week to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. All of this she did over the holidays and told us she was always there if we needed anything. Susan and Terri brought loving compassion and support to all of us on the day we met, and Kenna helped us complete our paperwork in a timely manner over the holidays. Kaitlyn reached out to our home study social worker in a different state to start the process for our post-placement visits and worked over the holidays as well to submit our paperwork for the ICPC. They helped us navigate this whole process in the middle of a pandemic and supported us in every way possible. The whole team at Texas Adoption Center is dedicated, professional, organized, and personalized. If we have the great honor to adopt in the future, I would definitely go straight to Texas Adoption Center!
