The pizza is absolutely delicious. I would say on par for the best pizza in DFW. I've been 2 times and both times they did not have my order when I showed up and I had to place it again. It made for an extremely disappointing experience and I haven't been back since.

We went here because I saw it advertised on fb or Instagram and we were going to be in the area. I love Hutchins Texas Twinkies so I had to try their special of the month Texas Twinkie pizza. We got there nobody really said anything the guy behind the counter (probably manager or owner) never looked up and was on his phone texting. Finally I said something and he finally spoke. No price was on the board for the special of the month so I had no clue what it would be but I figured around the same as the others so I ordered that a slice of pizza and 2 mini cannolis. Total was $63 with tip!!! For a pizza, a slice of pizza and 2 cannolis that is ridiculous!! He messed up the order so it took forever to get our order. He came out and apologized that he had messed it up (never offered a refund just said he had sold it sliced) and we told him just to make it to go then (because we still wanted our order). He did and brought it out. The pizzas both were good. Solid 9 out of 10 but were they worth the price?.... absolutely not. The cannolis were hard and stale no way they were fresh 1 out of 10. I'm use to authentic cannolis from New York and Boston these were not even remotely on the same level. Wouldn't order them again and don't recommend them either. I would totally go back if the pizzas were more reasonably priced but as they stand no thanks.

Saw Texapolitan on TikTok and decided to stop in for a couple of slices. Started with pepperoni -- solid baseline, executed well. Then ordered the Texas Twinkie specialty slice -- smoked brisket, bacon cream cheese, fresh jalapeños, mozzarella and provolone on red sauce. Outstanding. Crust was crunchy outside and soft inside, sauce was perfectly balanced, jalapeños brought real heat. Both slices were hearty and filling. $14.28 for two slices -- remarkable value for the quality. Staff was extremely friendly -- genuinely warm and welcoming for what could easily be just another quick slice stop. Left wanting more. Returning every time I'm in Plano. SAS Verdict: Approved. The Texas Twinkie slice is the reason to go. Don't skip it.

Wow this place is legit! The pizza crust is amazing and the sauce and toppings are incredible too. They offer several bases and you get get it half and half as well in terms of toppings. You can purchase slices or get a whole pizza. The crust is a bit like NY style which is sometimes hard to find and execute well. They make a lot of their sauces, toppings like Italian sausage and other things as well which is great. For a locally owned, amazing experience with good food definitely check this place out! The owner and workers are very nice and helpful too.

First time ordering and trying out Texapolitan Pizza. Loved the oven brick oven crust on the pizza. I liked the pizza but wish there was more cheese since we ordered cheese pizza. Would love option of adding green or black olives. I loved the mini cannoli's and the tiramisu.

Popped in on a chill Saturday afternoon, ordered the pepperoni, and basically had a full-blown pizza awakening. Crispy old-school pepperonis, melty cheese, and that crust? Straight fire. Like, actual wood-fired perfection. East Coast vibes in the middle of DFW? Didn't see that coming. Staff? 10/10. Friendly, fast, and just cool people. No one was trying too hard, they were just genuinely awesome. Didn't try the tiramisu, but it's officially on my hit list for next time. And yes, there will be a next time. Probably soon. Possibly tomorrow. Texapolitan isn't just good, it's "text your friends about it mid-bite" good.

18" pizza with smoked pork belly, pepperoni, red onion, and hot honey drizzle

Absolutely amazing pizza in the area! My fiance and I are huge fans of NY style pizza and Texapolitan delivers on every aspect. We will be back! We visited on Friday for dinner and ordered a whole pie (18 inches) online before going in person to pick it up. Once we arrived, our pizza was fresh and ready after a few minutes, plus the owners were super friendly! The pizza itself was cooked perfectly and the crust was light & crisp with a bit of chew. On our pizza, we got smoked pork belly, pepperoni, and red onion with a hot honey drizzle, and all the toppings were delicious though the hot honey flavor didn't come through as much. One note I do want to add with regards to online ordering: any dips or drizzles you want to add are in an entirely separate section of the online menu (separate from the pizzas)! We thought they would be under the list of toppings when you select a pizza, but we didn't see them there so we just added the drizzle we wanted in the notes. They ended up giving us the drizzle on the house which was very nice, but now we know!

Today was our first time trying Texapolitan, after seeing a video of it on Insta. THANK GOODNESS WE DID! We shared a Caesar salad that was tasty, with great homemade croutons, as well as tried their pizza of the month: with smoked pork burnt ends, jalapeño, cotija cheese, sweet peppers, tomato sauce plus a sweet and smoky BBQ drizzle. Holy moly, it was outstanding! The pizza was thin, with a crispy bottom, flavorful but uncomplicated sauce, and the perfect ratio of toppings. The owner was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. They sell individual slices, and also have lunch specials with a slice, salad and a drink (all natural sugar sodas). They're in the midst of building out a bar, as the owners want to showcase local beers, and if I could make any complaint at all, it would be that that the space is small, so it won't be able to accommodate the huge crowds that are sure to frequent this new location. It currently sits at the top for me of Best Pizza in Plano!

Pizza is the best around. Definitely a must try, customer service is always on point! They just opened so pull up and have a pie!

Thank savanna Ray! Beautiful people and beautiful pizza!

This place is a sleeper for sure. Great pizza. I didn't know they had Detroit style abut I'll be back to try it. Savannah is such a sweet person and was super helpful when you're unsure what type of pie to order. I was getting food for my workers, working in a building affected by the freeze. Savannah was nice enough to donate a pie to the people that were affected. Y'all at the best. Ty again!!

We ordered and pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We ordered to go but the restaurant was wide open and clean. The pizza could use a bit more sauce but the overall flavor was great.

This is good. It is def charred and crispy well done. The bitterness for me is amazing with Caesar dressing. Outstanding!

It's a little expensive but SO worth every penny. We had the garlicky cheese which is better than any garlic cheese breadstick anywhere. That thin crispy dough and delicious cheese! Oh my! Also had a large pepperoni cup with homemade red sauce. Family loved it. My husband and I had a large veggie of our choice, with Italian sausage and homemade red sauce and added homemade ricotta too. Incredibly delicious! I wish he would add a couple of dessert pizzas too. Yummy! Please give them a try, you won't regret it and you'll fall in love too.

We ordered the Aurthur, and it was delicious. I wasn't sure how much to order so I got a large to be safe. Well, its huge at 16". Probably more than we needed for two people as we each ate two large slices, leaving 4 slices left over. I love leftover pizza, so no problem there. I think its a better value at $23.50 versus $16 for a small? I liked the greek salad as well, although It could probably use a larger lettuce to all-other-ingredients ratio. it seemed like all the ingredients were about equal in portion. Delicious, but I want a bit more lettuce. I will for sure try some of the other pizzas here. And I liked the friendly staff. They seem genuinely "all-in", which is a great thing.

Definitely tasted real and fresh, and the price includes a refill. The bread itself was pretty flavorless, but I really liked the spice on the butter. I got Veal Piccata, as piccata is my favorite dish and the one I always get when trying a new Italian restaurant. The veal itself was very good, and I liked the flavor of the sauce: a lot more lemony and chicken broth than any white wine taste that some places emphasize. However, I do think the sauce was entirely too watery (pretty much like soup) and the noodles were soggy and chewy. Our waitress was overall attentive, if not seeming a little reluctant to leave the table after we said we were good. She also spilled a lot of my sauce all over the table (fine, things happen) and instead of cleaning it up, she just set my plate on top of it and apologized. My side of the table was covered in the sauce for the rest of the meal. My bf liked his dish as well, and I liked the texture of his chicken. I equate the taste of his sauce to the five cheese marinara at Olive Garden. Overall, I think we would both return.
