Chicken parm sub takeout. No foil. No container. Plate, sandwich, bag.
Rach S.

I was in the area for work and saw this place. Looked up reviews and the pasta reviews looked really good, which is what I should have ordered. Instead, I got a chicken parm sub and waited in my car to go in and pick it. While waiting, I saw someone come out and go next door to Tom Thumb. He came out of TT with a bag and went back into the restaurant. I followed him in. I couldn't believe what happened next. As I was paying for my food realizing my order wasn't ready with the girl behind the register, I saw the following. He went to the open kitchen, cut up my cooked chicken on the board and split the roll he purchased next door. No gloves. No hand washing. No mask. He sauced the sandwich, and into the oven it went. I was dumbfounded. I understand not having rolls but the rest is inexcusable. I had already swiped after all of this and was in a hurry and am entirely too polite (or stupid) to say stop right now, I don't want that because that is not a clean or SAFE way to prepare food. The young lady offered to refill my Diet Coke after I picked up my sandwich to leave which was the only redeeming part of this experience. It gets better. As I'm walking to my car, I'm seeing sauce and oil leaking out of the bag. How is this possible? Assuming the hot sandwich was wrapped in foil. It wasn't. Just on a paper plate. In a bag. No napkins. Beyond a bad experience. I threw it out immediately without ever trying it. I would never try this place again because I can't even imagine what other absurdly unsafe practices go on. I'm sure the food is tasty but after this, nope. Never again.

Seafood Pescatore
Diana S.

I ordered takeout from this place today because I've been in the mood for Italian, and let me tell you--the food was so good!!! I got the seafood pescatore and the flavors were soo rich and delicious, and the seafood was excellent. It includes mussels, calamari, shrimp, and scallops, and I gobbled it right up! The noodles were cooked al dente, and it also came with a small salad. The restaurant itself is pretty small, nestled next to a Tom Thumb. It was very busy though--I was surprised at how many people were dining in and waiting in line for takeout. I probably would not dine in until COVID is over, but takeout is a great option. There are two reasons I knocked this review down a star. Firstly, the food was not packed very well, with sauce spilling out of the aluminum container, and the salad dressing was likewise spilling out of the container. That wasn't a huge deal for me, but I think it's a small thing that can be easily fixed. The second and more important reason was that I was a bit concerned with this restaurant's COVID policy. The people cooking in the kitchen were not wearing masks while handling the food and everything, so I was a bit worried by that. I am personally pretty strict about COVID guidelines, so I probably would not go back to the restaurant until it's safer to do so.

Penne Pomordo

In short, great Italian food for a reasonable price and it's BYOB. They bring out garlic dinner rolls with a marinara to start which are amazing. I've tried a few entrees here and all are excellent. My favorite is the Penne Pomodoro! The staff is very fun and the environment is comfortable and warm. Do not forget to bring a bottle of wine!

Chicken Alma - Full of Flavors

We enjoyed our Alma Chicken and Al Bistro Chicken pasta dishes. Both had tons of flavors and the pizza was very tasty as well. Service was excellent by the two young ladies. We will back to try the other dishes.

Customized for us
Tammy J.

This restaurant has it going on! We ordered the Alma chicken and a customized dish and it was 10/10! I am very picky about my food and taste and I couldn't find anything negative about this! I can't wait to go back and get these dishes and try other dishes as well. Everything was freshly made, tasted homemade and full of flavor! Hugo the owner was super kind and got our food made super fast! YOU GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE!!!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem and one of the best Italian restaurants in the Plano area. The garlic bread was great, minestrone was some of the best I've had and the homemade meatballs were out of this world. The service was also outstanding. Ashley did a super job. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves great Italian food and is looking for a family-owned restaurant with homemade recipes. Take it from a Jersey guy that grew up working in family owned Italian restaurants.

Shrimp & "Scallops ~ NOT" Alfredo
Cheryl S.

Soooo, I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops Alfredo along with a couple other things (pizza & spaghetti) online for pick up. The food was just ok. The kicker is they were out of scallops so the "cook (not chef)" decided to replace it with calamari (if that's what you want to call it, a small rubbery substance the size of a cheerio). They are lucky I'm not allergic to calamari. Also, the shrimp still had the tail on. They had my phone number but didn't bother to call to let me know. I did get a refund for the $18 meal but needless to say I won't go back. I should have asked for my tip back as well.

The bread is so good!!

We decided to check this place out since we were in town for a softball tourney. Super glad we did! I had the chicken alfredo, hubby had the chicken marsala. He ate every bite! I couldnt finish mine because there was so much! Customer service was great! And the bread - amazing!! We got the alfredo sauce for dipping!!

I've heard nothing but good things about Adriano's so while my friend and I wanted to give it a try and I'm so glad we did. First, the pizza is amazing and HUGE! This NY style checks all the boxes and the sauce has to best I've ever had including New York City and Chicago. Second, Hugo's Favorite will delight your tastebuds with excitement as the many flavors dance around in your mouth. I would say Adriano's sauces are the star of the show and yet another one of Plano's hidden gems in the food category.

Shrimp and Ravioli with added Lemon and Spinach, one garlic bread roll....Excelentísimo!

My daughter & I were looking for Italian food that didn't cost an arm & leg and that would deliver via a delivery service. We were also looking for seafood pasta and no other places had what we were looking for (that didn't cost too much). We came across Adriano's and decided to try it. OMGosh! We were floored by how good this food was! We ordered the GARDEN SALAD w/HOUSE DRESSING, SHRIMP & RAVIOLI, and GARLIC CHEESE BREAD. It was all to die for! And it didn't break the bank! I honestly would compare the taste to Cheesecake Factory taste, as it was delicious! We have found our new favorite Italian Restaurant! Excellent f

My wife and I tried Adriano's tonight. It was really great! The food and service were top notch. The music was really good. I can not say enough good things about this place. Definitely on the go again list, you should try it as soon as you can.

This is the best Italian restaurant that I have ever eaten at. The food and the staff is amazing and I call the bread the devil because it's just that dam good. Everything on the menu is good and fresh. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Haven't been back in a while due to the past experiences here but I started a new job near the area…read moreand still kind of exploring around for lunch. The experience I have compared to my last time is a lot better. A good serving of food! Lots of pasta, nice serving of grill chicken and veg. Not sure why I was told the cap for topping is 6 when I noticed customers in front of me and past me definitely ordered more than 6 toppings........... still, a great value especially when they have promos on the app. I really like how often they rotate out new fresh recipes and shows new things to try. Gets me out of the rut. I also like how I can customise my meal since I'm on a diet. One scoop of pasta, loaded greens and proteins is what I'm aiming for now

Piada Italian Street Food was okay, but not somewhere I'd rush back to. My boss wanted to try it…read morewhile we were in Dallas, and when we walked in, it was really busy, smoky, and a little chaotic. The line was long, so the overall first impression felt overwhelming. I ordered the hot honey chicken wrap, and my boss got a salad. We also got garlic dough bread and drinks. The food was fine, but for the portion sizes, especially the small salad, it felt very expensive. Our total was close to $40-$50, which seemed high for what we ordered. It was a cool place to try once, and since it was packed, maybe we just didn't order the best items. Still, based on this visit, I probably wouldn't go back.
