DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! These people are simply crooks THEY ARE NOT HONEST OR RELIABLE you can't believe half of these bogus reviews. The customer service is absolutely GARBAGE and if you go to get one thing fixed I GUARANTEE YOU will be back ASAP GETTING SOMETHING ELSE FIXED. It's a setup and I heard many others say the same exact thing. I ignored it thinking it was just them having a bad time. I was wrong. Not to mention they over charge you and talk to you crazy spare yourself and go somewhere more respectful, reputable and professional. This is not it. My go-to place to get car inspections done. A friend told me about this place and I'm glad to have found it. It's conveniently located right off Main St. in the med center. I've gone before lunch on weekdays and there is always no wait. The service is the fastest I've ever experienced! The people who work there are kind and efficient. Good auto shop to have in your back pocket, for any kind of odds and ends work that need to be done. They don't usually do major bodywork or paint jobs, however, mainly more mechanical one, but give them a call and they'll let you know they can do. their mechanics are easy to talk to, reasonable and give you clear information and don't try to work you over. Been here a couple times and I've brought my own parts for them to replace which I appreciate and they don't charge any additional fees for that which I can't see the same for other major changes or shops. can get busy during mid-day to the evening. read more

Turned away today for an oil change. Arrived 15 mins prior to closing, unaware of the closing time. A line of cars. First employee came out to the truck without any issues and drove it to work area. Another employee argued with coworker as we walked across the street for an ice cream to pass the wait time. 10 mins later we get a call that the service cannot be performed today. So the closing time was prior to to documented hours. Poor customer service! Will not return. read more

DISHONEST RACKET! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with both parts of this guy's business. The towing, sales, & repair are profiting off the lemons they sell, supposedly repair, & then tow back to their shop after you break down & they charge you for all of it even when you'r driving off the lot & have hardly made it down the street when it happens after they claim to have repaired the defects prior to your purchase & won't tell you anything about what those "defects" were. I was in a pinch & bought a car from their tiny selection of junkers behind Texas Auto Works (Discount Auto Sales, same address, owner, people, etc) two days ago. It was mechanically made ready per repairs as indicated on warning lights by Texas Auto Works (same company owner, address, etc). Drove it home (less than 4 miles) & it completely died. Stepped out of vehicle & the driver's side exterior door handle fell off (assembly & all)!!! Called & texted Mark Omran, the owner, & he failed to respond. We called him from a different number in the morning & he answered. He was rude & clearly stated "it's your car now, your problem.". He wrote on the bill of sale paperwork that he was including a 30 day engine & transmission warranty. We told him the car is making a clicking noise & won't start & he said that the starter is our problem. Oh, but he can tow it to his shop & charge us for the tow & starter & whatever else could be wrong that's not going to be "the engine or transmission" of course! Never mind that the only lock to open the car is the tumbler in the door handle that fell off or that he is lying about the mechanical problems that were cleared out of the OBD when the warning indicator lights were on when we looked at the car & he said his mechanic will repair all the problems that the lights are indicating. When I asked him specifically what repairs were made to make good on our deal for purchase, he glossed over it with vague answers "uh, sensor, a sensor light, mmmm o2 sensor". I asked if the o2 sensor was replaced & how many o2 sensors this car had & where was the one that was replaced (before/after catalytic converter, etc.) & it was clear when I pressed him again for answers today, he kn vows NOTHING about cars. I asked to speak with his mechanic & that never happened. I asked to be present when the vehicle was being made ready for purchase (repairing what all indicator lights were warning to be repaired) & they made it not possible. Now I believe that their "repairs" were simply clearing out the warning indicators. It will be evident for certain once the car has been driven for about 56 miles (since it only made it 4 miles from his little rip off lot). I believe the defects that were "repaired" as promised prior to the sale were not actually repaired. I am hoping to prevent this from happening to another good person. This is not a decent human being. I grew up believing that you are only as good as your word & a handshake is an understood agreement between two people making an honest exchange. This place is not practicing by good principals & will quickly take your money & ignore you when you've been dealt a lemon. This is a true testimony of my experience. You can certainly disregard this & find out for yourself. You can also take my word & look elsewhere. I know dealing with buying a car & auto repairs is no fun & we need to get back on the road as fast as possible when in need of a working vehicle, but a hasty decision can cost you an awful lot. If not resolved, remember that The Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, offers guidance in these situations & there's a host of TBLS Lawyers Board Certified in Commercial & Consumer Law. (They turn lemons into lemonade.) Of course, it's best to do your due diligence in researching through information about the dealer prior to making a deal. You should know how representatives of a company will handle matters if they should arise...and with a used vehicle, matters are likely to arise. What good is a car if it doesn't work? HORRIBLE experience! If I could give negative stars I would. I took my suv there to have $1800 worth of body work done. Jay the mechanic offered me a temporary car to use until my car was repaired so I agreed to allow them do the work on my vehicle. The day I dropped off my car they did not have the car he promised me ready and I almost missed my flight. Even though I called early that morning to let him know I would be there at 3pm. The car he gave me smelled like smoke! I had to drive in the Houston heat with the windows down. Not to mention it was an olddddd beat up 2004 Camry. On the day I came to pick up my suv the work I was I promised to be completed was not. Jay wanted me to bring my car back another day after lying to me about the agreement we made regarding the work. I'm sorry but I work in the medical field! I can't just ask the patients at the hospital to hold on a few hours so I can make trips to Texas Auto! After having my suv back I realized that my auxiliary cord was missing out of my vehicle! Why, steal a $10 auxiliary cord! Please do not go to this place. If you do, keep your eyes and ears open.
