They only had homemade mango jelly it was ok, but they don't have any grape or strawberry? And the bacon was cold and chewy. My wife ordered pancakes and ham . The pancakes were almost black on top and the "ham"was Tasso , which is far from the same. Kitchen obviously doesn't care what they put out Coffee cup was tiny , maybe 8 0Z's and no refill offered. $3 bucks?! The food was delicious! I had the butter pecan pancakes. They were delicious, thick, fluffy and full of flavor. My husband got the Monte Cristo. My kids had the French toast and pancake kids meals that they had a hard time finishing because the size was big enough for an adult. Everyone left happy and super full. First time visitor today. The club sandwich was excellent, as well as the french fries with brown gravy. We also ordered the Chicken Vera Cruz. The chicken was seasoned very well, but it was over cooked and dry. Our server Kiley D did a good job, but the food took longer to come out of the kitchen than I would have expected, based on the number of occupied tables. Not sure if I would return or recommend to friends. It needs some attention. read more

The back ran out of the jalapeños I requested as an add-on and instead of leaving it at "We're out." The staff and management went out of their way to go to the store and purchase the jalapeños requested to be grilled and added to my delicious burger. My husband and I were on our way from Fort Worth to Decatur, Texas for a meeting and needed to grab some breakfast somewhere. Served with a chipotle tasting raspberry type jam. (don't quote me on that because I'm not exactly sure that's what it officially was) The flavors were amazing! One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. For my side I got the jalapeño cheddar grits and they were fantastic - tangy and creamy! I bought an extra side of that to take home with me. As a matter fact the Montecristo was so big that I couldn't eat it all so I took it home with me and had it the next morning for breakfast also. My husband is kind of a traditional guy so he got the Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon and he enjoyed his breakfast also. Let's start from the beginning: the young lady at the hostess stand asked us to be put on a 5 minute wait until she got a table cleaned. In the middle of talking with us, she suddenly exclaimed "oh my God" and had a perturbed look on her face. I glanced behind me to see the concern and all I saw was a lady in very high heels. The order got messed up slightly as they forgot a biscuit and bacon, and hash browns but they quickly remedied it. The server even got to the point to remove a couple of items from the bill.
