I spent over a year studying on my own with Gregmat, Magoosh, Kaplan and ETS PowerPrep and I just wasn't getting anywhere as far as progress goes. It felt like there were too many videos to watch, too many areas to study and I felt overwhelmed and unmotivated. At 38 years old, the last math class I had taken was over 15 years ago, so it was a pain relearning all the math they test on Quant. Andrew broke down which areas were not tested as often and let the class know which topics to study on their own (due to class time restraints) if they were trying to score 320 and higher, which I very much appreciated. I only need a 290 for a program that requires that for admissions. The first GRE I took in August, 2025 was 279 (141V, 138Q) with practice tests ranging in the 270-280's. Today, I scored 294 (147V, 147Q), with practice tests ranging from 289-302. I studied 3-6 hours a day, 4-6 times a week (homework included) for two months to obtain this score, which I am very happy with. I'm sure I could have scored higher if I studied a bit more and did more homework. Thank you to TestCrackers for all the support in my Executive Assessment. I took the GMAT Prep Course in May of 2024 to apply for business school. As a non-profit founder, I was in a tight budget and Yuri gave me a discount to afford the program. He sent me a free Foundations of Mathematics book and created a strategy to get me up to speed in preparation for the course. I would not have been able to complete the prep course if it were not for him. Seth, the Quant teacher, is one of the most brilliant minds that I have encountered. I took the verbal section with Marty late 2023 to brush up my skills since my prior tests in 2017 (V 93rd, essay 82nd). The class provided great structure for preparing for the test while working full time. Marty engaged everyone in the class and provided concrete test-taking strategies. Even after the course ended, Marty provided helpful feedback by email. In early 2024, I re-took the test and got V 97th, essay 92nd (on one practice test, I even got a 170 on verbal). I loved this course! I took the verbal section with Marty and the quant section with Andrew, both were amazing! I was really scared to prepare for the GRE, but the class definitely gave me all the direction and help I needed to feel like I could take down this test. The teachers are super empathetic and encouraging and I genuinely had fun in these classes. I was originally worried about it being impersonal since it was on zoom, but the classes were so interactive! I felt engaged throughout the whole class (and they are 3 hours). A month after the verbal course ended, Marty reached out to see how I was doing and took the time to review my practice exams and give me direction on how I can improve on my essays/timing. Andrew took the time to meet with me after the quant class ended to go over my study plan, sending me extra resources and taking time out of his own schedule to give me that extra boost. It's scary ending the class and being on your own, but they did such a great job providing extra support I feel confident I can achieve my goal score. For the quant course there are office hours available too, which are great for getting individual questions answered. Yuri is running most of those now and he's so helpful, plus a pun master. You'll roll your eyes at some jokes, but you'll also be learning tricks of the trade from the GRE master :-). The teachers really care about their students and it makes me so glad I chose to sign up! I cannot begin to say enough amazing things about TestCrackers. They deserve 100+ stars. I've tried many prep classes out there, but none have improved my score as dramatically as TestCrackers. Before taking the course with Anisa, I was at a complete standstill in my verbal score. At that point, I had already taken classes from the big test prep companies (i ain't a snitch but u know who u r!!!) and was unsure if i'd ever reach my target score. I found TestCrackers by chance online and the great reviews convinced me to to give it a shot. Any hesitation/reservations that I had were completely wiped away upon the first class. The class size was small and intimate, which I found much more conducive to learning. The format of the class was extremely interactive and required students to be constantly engaged. Two words: TESTCRACKERS WORKS. I never considered myself a good standardized test-taker -- in fact, I anticipated that the GRE was going to be my main hurdle in getting into my top choices of graduate programs and that I could never do well on the test. My expectations and perceptions were immediately challenged on my first day at TestCrackers. I took both the Quant and Verbal courses with Anisa, who referred to all of us by our names and never made me feel dumb when I couldn't answer a question. She was patient, caring, and, most importantly, respected each of us as individuals. You could tell that she wanted to help us succeed. I would recommend testcrackers to anyone, it is by far the most efficient way to study for the test. Before signing up with Testcrackers, after 6 months of self-study, I had a V159/Q158, and after retaking the test my score jumped to V166/Q165. I took Anisa's class while she was teaching in San Jose, and she was fantastic. I expected topics like "sentence equivalence" and "linear inequalities" to be boring, but Anisa did a great job making the content accessible. I also found both classes to be a perfect mix of "theory" and "test strategy". The real reason this course gets 5 stars is because the team seems genuinely interested in having you succeed. They are available by email, over the phone and offer free office hours to students. Included in the course cost are snacks and access to any extra materials you might need. TestCrackers is absolutely top notch, and I could not have done this without their support. Anisa is not only an incredible instructor who knows the test material down cold (GMAT in my case), but more importantly, she also knows how to teach it impeccably. She doesn't teach it from the perspective of someone who aced her very first practice test- Anisa mentioned at one point she had to put in work to achieve her score, and I believe this experience is an incredible asset from which I and many others have benefited greatly. Case in point, Anisa understands the effort, the struggle, the ups and downs most of us face along the way to achieving our goal scores, and while she is there primarily to support understanding of the material, she goes well above and beyond in terms of emotional support. Her availability, cool-headed nature, and positive attitude really helped me brush off some of the tougher blows (getting a low practice test score after many months of work can be crushing, but keep goin!). This support helped me to pick myself back up and keep on putting in the hours every day. For me, that kind of support was nearly as important as the instruction on the test material. Don't get me wrong, if your goal score is well above your baseline, there is no magical solution- only hard work and diligence will get you there. But TestCrackers will make this process infinitely more bearable. I took Anisa's GMAT Verbal and Quant course in Berkeley, CA in Spring of 2019. Anisa is a top notch instructor and most importantly, she is personally invested in your success. Everyone has their own journey with standardized tests, and at times it can feel like a course with students at different levels and fail to cater to your unique needs. Testcrackers curriculum is extremely interactive to drive engagement of all students, and Anisa worked with me outside of class to make sure I had the resources I needed to succeed to my own standards. As many have mentioned, in the end, not test course alone is going to help you ace your GMAT alone. I am so relieved I took this class because it helped immensely with my test taking strategy, timing, and confidence. I had been studying for the GRE on my own for about 3 months and wasn't seeing any substantial progress. I had been out of school for 4 years, and was having a hard time getting back in study/test mode. I was getting frustrated and discouraged, and decided that signing up for a class was the only sure way to kick my studying up to the next level. Especially because I only had 2 months left to study and I only had time to take the GRE once. It was frantic cram time for me. I took the Verbal class with Anisa. I took GMAT Quant review with Anisa in Berkeley! Math is not my favorite subject at all, and it's something that requires a lot of practice. Anisa was able to make the entire course digestible and completely NOT intimidating. Especially with how large and looming the GMAT feels, Anisa's friendly can-do attitude really helped make the GMAT feel a lot more attainable. I never left class feeling like I didn't understand what was going on, and she always offered additional support if needed. I wish I had come to TestCrackers SOONER! To all of those looking for a superb, empathetic, engaged, and patient teaching staff, this is the right prep course for you. Seth, Isaac, and Yuri GENUINELY care about your success and it made all the difference. A HUGE shoutout to Seth for going the extra 100 miles with me in my success with GMAT. I started out my GMAT journey in the Fall of 2020 and followed generic advice to sign up for a Manhattan prep course. By the time the course ended, I felt I had been more caught up doing OG questions without actually learning the content or shortcuts. I did not feel set up for success and felt I had become even more confused with the content than when I had originally started. In the winter of 2021, two of my coworkers (who both scored in the 98th percentile) told me about TestCrackers and how it was a total game changer for them. Both of those coworkers now attend M7 business schools and ALSO have business school classmates who used TestCrackers. I signed up for both the Quant and Verbal GMAT course and noticed a difference right away. The instructors are not on autopilot (something I felt was very common in my Manhattan course) - they are truly engaged and care about your future success with GMAT and business school. Not to mention, they also bring their own sense of personality and humor to the classes which make it more enjoyable. Furthermore, the instructors are incredibly empathetic and good at fostering psychological safety in the classroom; I never felt embarrassed if I answered a question incorrectly in front of the class. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, the instructors willingly made themselves available outside of the classroom - this was hands down the most pivotal part in my GMAT studying. After taking the official GMAT twice and not getting the scores I wanted, I reached out to Seth and sent him my enhanced score reports to see if he might have any other advice. Seth replied back with a VERY detailed breakdown of areas I needed to improve on and helped me get a better understanding of what was going wrong for me. He even scheduled a 45 minute review to go over it and helped me create a game plan going into my 3rd test attempt. A lot of this test was psychological to me - I knew the content and felt that TestCrackers did an excellent job teaching it to me. But what was keeping me back from getting a good score was understanding the mental game of the test - and Seth completely helped me conquer that.
