INCREDIBLE VALUE!!!! I came to Jesse after I had just tested significantly below my practice test median. Leading up to this test, I had worked with two different tutors that were a fraction of the price/hour Jesse charges. Jesse's sessions were a SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER VALUE than the other services. You get what you pay for. He provided materials, guidance, and study plans so that when I was studying I was focused and less overwhelmed because the study plan had already been created for me by someone who has a proven track record. I am also 99% sure he has read every single LSAT study material out there making him uniquely capable of pointing his students in the correct direction. He is also different from other tutors in that he adapts the pace of the session to really maximize the hour. I always felt comfortable asking to slow down and review a question more in-depth, but we also went rapid-fire at times to maximize each minute. Jesse also made me feel extremely confident going into the test when in the past I had felt extremely anxious/stressed. Cannot recommend it enough!! Advice on how to maximize sessions -- come with a plan and what you want to accomplish. I recommend only focusing on one section type/hr to really maximize learning. I started my lsat study like many others with an LSAT course, Kaplan. I took the online quiz (which may be rigged) and it said I would be between a 165-170. You can imagine my horror when I paid for the course and my diagnostic was a 144. After completing half of the course I was only up to a 147. While I think the course was good for learning fundamentals, I think it is necessary to have a coach through the process of LEARNING the LSAT. Jesse and I studied together for the LSAT in 2017. We primarily reviewed exams together over the phone, as we weren't in the same city, but I can definitely see why he went into tutoring. Jesse is amazing. There were so so many low points during my months of study and Jesse was there. What makes Jesse so so different from other tutors that he started with a low score and worked his way up. He knows what works and doesn't and also teaches you multiple methods for each sections. When I first decided to begin my journey of going to law school, I was really unsure of my ability to perform well on the LSAT because I am generally not a strong standardized tester. I have been working with Jesse for about a month and have found him to be a very knowledgeable resource. I like that he worked hard to improve is low LSAT score to make it extremely competitive. Jesse is AWESOME! Extremely helpful for all of your LSAT-related needs! I started my LSAT journey taking a prep course (waste of time and money) and did not do very well. The second time, I self-studied for the LSAT and improved 6 points however, I was extremely weak on the Logic Games section. That's when I decided to reach out to Jesse for LG help. There are so many positives things that I could say on Jesse's behalf, from his teaching style, charismatic personality and copious knowledge of the LSAT structure and test.
