INCREDIBLE VALUE!!!! I came to Jesse after I had just tested significantly below my practice test…read moremedian. Leading up to this test, I had worked with two different tutors that were a fraction of the price/hour Jesse charges. Jesse's sessions were a SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER VALUE than the other services. You get what you pay for. He provided materials, guidance, and study plans so that when I was studying I was focused and less overwhelmed because the study plan had already been created for me by someone who has a proven track record. I am also 99% sure he has read every single LSAT study material out there making him uniquely capable of pointing his students in the correct direction. He is also different from other tutors in that he adapts the pace of the session to really maximize the hour. I always felt comfortable asking to slow down and review a question more in-depth, but we also went rapid-fire at times to maximize each minute. Jesse also made me feel extremely confident going into the test when in the past I had felt extremely anxious/stressed. Cannot recommend it enough!! Advice on how to maximize sessions -- come with a plan and what you want to accomplish. I recommend only focusing on one section type/hr to really maximize learning. Ask questions and speak up when you don't understand even the smallest detail in a question, Jesse can break up questions to an extremely micro level so you understand the logical functions of each word. This is not something you can get on a forum or do yourself, even if you are a very high scorer. Lean on Jesse for advice on how to study! This was most useful to me, I would ask him a lot of questions on how to approach drilling and reviewing. Understand that the studying still falls on you -- Jesse can lighten the load, but you still do the heavy lifting. Lastly, to back up my review with numbers, my diagnostic was 155, I scored in the low 160s on two actual tests prior to hiring Jesse. After working with Jesse for only 3 sections (diagnostic LR, LR tutoring, RC tutoring) across 3.5 months, I scored 180 on the Aug 2021 LSAT.

Had a fabulous experience with MCAT test prep. HORRIBLE experience with med school application…read moreadvising. Have had several emails go ignored until I feel like I'm being obnoxious, but I cannot even get my initial call scheduled because my advisor's assistant just disappears into thin air all the time. After my payment it took almost two months to even get anything back from the company regarding how to begin. Overall this second experience makes me think this company is way too big and we're just dollar signs to them. I'm really upset I even wasted money on this and I'm going to be looking for a refund so that I can seek advising elsewhere.

Very unimpressed, to say the least…read more The teachers are awful, low-quality and unprofessional. The staff are not much better... I was in a classroom-style course which I wasn't getting much out of so I re-enrolled in an online class. The very first online class that I took showed the wrong time on the student tools page. So I missed the first class tonight. The company hours are supposed to be until 10pm. I called tonight at 9:30pm after I couldn't access my course, but couldn't reach anyone. I sent my teacher an e-mail asking why I couldn't access the course but her response was to simply call technical support because she doesn't know anything about computers. This company cares more about quantity than quality - money instead of people. The Princeton Review just tries to scare everyone into thinking that they will not do as well on the GRE if they don't have some coaching. Well, even with the coaching - which is just a bunch of not-so-creative acronyms and a review of basic English and math, I highly discourage anyone from taking this course and instead recommend that you just get a book and study on your own. You'll probably get a lot more out of persistent and focused self-study rather than wasting your money on this ridiculous company. There are so many free resources out there and there are ways to do well on the GRE without spending $1k. Personally, I'm preparing for the GRE by taking a math class for review at my local community college (where there's free tutoring), reading up on GRE strategies and also learning as many new GRE words as I can before the exam. I plan to ask for a full refund tomorrow and just study for the test on my own. Either that, or take the MAT, which the college I hope to get into accepts as an alternative test.

I just started celebrating because I got the score I needed for graduate school while writing this…read morereview...already intoxicated but will try to make it readable... Absolutely AMAZING! I have spent so much money on GRE prep services (thousands) but this is by far the best thing that actually made a HUGE impact on my GRE score overall. I cannot say enough about Charles and his ability to teach the material. He is both passionate and constantly full of energy... that's probably an understatement. Although he sometimes goes quickly through the material, he will ALWAYS stop if you have questions on how to go about answering the questions. In addition, he is always adamant about getting the students to text him, calling, emailing, carrier pigeon-ing, with questions that pertain to the material if you are having trouble. The tricks and strategy on ways he taught me on how to approach each question on the GRE test allowed me to answer most of the questions that I struggled with. He is one of the greatest factors that allowed me to put this burden that has plagued my progression in life down like a dirty dog... so dirty... In addition, the online modules that accompany the Princeton Review is exceptional! Not only are both the presenters attractive (not bisexual) but they go over in detail on how to approach each question step-by-step which allowed me to answer most of the questions that came up on the GRE. I can't speak for those who had bad experience from the MCAT or any other test but, regarding the GRE, Princeton Review is what allowed me to get through this test (with the addition of memorizing an a@@ load of flashcards) and able to finally apply to the graduate schools that will allow me to finally be able to call myself doctor!!!

I wanted to give PR a higher rating but this was the best my son & I could agree on…read more Some background...I consider my son bright with a strong work ethic. Prior to taking the SATs his only standardized test experience was the PSAT & without studying scored 1360. I had big hopes for him doing great in his SATs so we went the a PR private tutor ($3200, not an insignificant amount for us) as insurance. I was a bit surprised when he took PRs initial test assessment (1220) but not overly concerned. I figured with private tutoring he'd vastly improve because he had never seen a single SAT question/test. The PR Westwood private tutor dept manager...very professional & always responded quickly & thoroughly. Five stars The PR private tutor...very professional. The studying/homework requirements struck me as a bit lax, I would have expected a heavier workload. I also would have liked a bit more communication especially if there was any inkling that results would underwhelm. Four stars Results...my son took the SAT twice & both times was mid 1300s which was disappointing. To the Westwood office credit, I think they too were disappointed with the first result & offered six additional hours of free tutoring to prep for a 2nd attempt. But the results were near identical, no material improvement. Why two stars? The response from the Student Guarantees office. I thought there was a +150 pt refund guarantee for the tutoring services (so did the Westwood office) but the Student Guarantee office rejected my request. According to them, they take a baseline (1220 for my son) then "We'll then compare your starting score to the score you received on the official test." Fair enough, they don't state what that means. According to the Student Guarantees manager when I asked if PR would be satisfied with their services if my sons score went from 1220 to 1230 under the $3200 private tutoring program, he replied "Yes that is correct, any score increase satisfies the term of the money back guarantee, for the Standard tutoring package." Wow, how many parents would fork over $3200 knowing that? I'm not trying to be trivial but I would have expected a more empathetic & reassuring response from a company that touts their focus on customer results & satisfaction.
