Also, the companies that charged ridiculous amounts like $150/hr did not show much for it. I know this because when trying Tutor Me LA, I also hired another tutor from a high-end tutoring company and Tutor Me LA's tutor was not only cheaper but MUCH MORE proficient.  We needed a few tutors - A gmat tutor, LSAT tutor, and a Math tutor.
