I asked for a meeting/consultation to get feedback from my son's tutor, to determine if he was in the right math program at school. I asked for a brief 5 to 10 minutes. They suggested that it wasn't enough time to talk so they suggested 30 minutes, I said ok. Then one of the owners said they would charge me $ 30 for the 30 minutes because it was the tutors time. I suggested this was overboard with their policy when I only need 5-10 minutes. They replied that they have charged $100 for consultation.It sounded to me like a law firm more than a tutor center. The sensation I was left with was that the chance they get to milk money from me they will do it. They are also willing to burn a long term client for $30 dollars. Their payment policy is not open or inviting for a long term business relationship. They give you $10 discount if you pay 5 classes in advance ( $65 x hr). If not you pay $75 the hour and in advance as well. In today's market, flexibility and keeping up with market trends is key to making business fresh and alive. So if you as a parents are seeking for a quick alternative for your child to get through exams and finals, go for this tutoring center, but it is a quick fix. If you are seeking for a long term tutoring with client accommodation go somewhere else even if other tutoring places are more expensive. For long term and regular tutoring as an option it is best to have flexibility in payment processing.They don't have Venmo, PayPal, etc. they write your credit card number on a paper and keep it on file.We are already struggling, juggling life to help our children be their best, to complicate with tutoring hassles when there are lots of tutoring options. I can always text them for a quick and easy communication rather than calling and playing phone tag. After every session I get an e-mail with notes from her instructor sharing what they covered in the lesson and how it went with a list of things she did well and things she can continue to practice. Also, the sessions are easy to use and set up, it's just a link to click in an e-mail instead of downloading or installing Zoom or any other platform on the device. If I want them to cover any specific homework assignment, workbook, skill or even state testing practice they incorporate that into the session for us. I would highly recommend them!

I found this school after trying many others in the area. New Generation is both play and academically focused, always clean, and has a GORGEOUS backyard play area (I always say it feels heavenly back there). I'll never ever forget how wonderful it felt to pick my daughter up in such a safe and loving environment every day and have her run across that playground to hug me. The school is not only kid-friendly, but parent friendly. They have always been kind and supportive in a way that parents of preschoolers need... they just get it. The front office empathizes and gives of their time and attention, always making me feel safe and seen. They also throw a great party!! The Fall Festival every year is seriously so much fun - we're still planning to go as a family even after we've left! There are always holiday activities, celebrations, shows, adorable Graduations... everything is just so perfect. Most importantly, the teachers are INCREDIBLE. We had Ms. Claudia, Ms. Laura, and Ms. Favi throughout the years, three of the most lovely women, always with a focus on learning, growth, development, and kindness. The kiddos spend so much time at preschool, it has been very comforting to know it is such a wonderful environment, complete with care and attention from very involved teachers. Ms. Favi, our current teacher, truly looks at her students as if they were her own, and treats them as such. My daughter loves her so, and dreams of being a teacher one day because of how wonderfully Ms. Favi does it. It will be so hard to say goodbye to her, and there will be no shortage of tears (mom included). I highly recommend this school for your sweet little ones. When our daughter outgrew infant care, she attended their second location, which functions more as a discovery preschool. It was very important to us that they met our child where she was developmentally, rather than expect her to be independent and follow a rigorous schedule. Ms. Rubina, her daughters and their team are very hands on, kind and nurturing, so each child gets the individualize care they need while still being able to grow and socialize. They helped us raise our daughter into a very happy, independent, smart and polite young lady. The director, Marie, has worked in childcare and preschool/kindergarten education for decades. We toured different preschools and Burbank Edu-Care stood out to us for multiple reasons. It's a small, intimate environment and the premises are beautiful. They have a garden on the preschool/kindergarten grounds and grow fruits & vegetables which they use to prepare healthy, organic lunches for the children. Lunch and potty training are both included in their very reasonable tuition fees. At other schools, lunch was a separate fee and potty training was an additional fee, or you could not enroll your child if they were not potty trained to begin with. The school has an adorable "parking" area where kids can park their tricycles and push cars in front of the school (behind a secure, gated campus). The private, high-fenced gate in front of the school ensures that strangers cannot see the children from the street and that the children are not in danger of street-based traffic. My 3-year-old child loves Ms. Marie and has so much fun learning and playing with the other children. They have plenty of opportunities for art, dance, music, and sound academic fundamentals like phonics, colors, shapes, etc. My child is completely safe at this school. I am also profoundly touched that Marie has taken a very special interest in our older, autistic child and has been so understanding of our unique childcare schedule. You can tell that she truly loves the children. For Ms. Marie, this is not just a job for her or a paycheck-this is her calling and she is uniquely gifted in her ability to connect with and lovingly care for your child. The school is fully licensed, very safe, it's small, intimate, and the kids are cared for with loving attention. Other schools for small children can feel chaotic or like your kid is a number in a larger setting, but that's not the case here. There is so much comfort in knowing that your child has found his or her community and niche. You don't have to worry about all the horror stories of inexperienced caregivers around your small child. TBH-my MIL was hesitant when I told her we would enroll our little one in preschool. She warned me that some kids find it too traumatic, and maybe she's safer at home (given what she's seen on the news, etc.). We are highly protective of our children. We feel confident we made a great decision choosing Burbank Edu-Care. Given the level of care/attention given to these children (plus potty training and healthy lunches included) -the tuition is very reasonable/affordable. If you tour and call other preschools and kindergartens that are in Burbank-Burbank Edu-Care's rates are very reasonable/affordable and they don't have the hidden fees (for lunches, potty training, additional hours for certain shifts, etc.) that some other programs charge. I highly recommend Burbank Edu-Care and am so grateful we found this amazing school! I can't gatekeep such a wonderful program when so many parents are seeking to find a safe, loving, supportive, and excellent preschool/kindergarten that builds on their child's strengths, gives them a sense of safety, care, and accomplishment, and lets them play with joy and creativity.
