Tess's Kitchen has THE BEST FRIED PIE! (My husband was crazy about the apple fried pie, I was crazy about the blueberry pie! ) They have this Southern feel inside the restaurant. They also have the best Asian Food I had in this area or county. Not only they have delicious asian and southern food, the price is reasonable too. Oh, they were so nice to cook something that wasn't on the menu! My husband loves Adobo, a famous Filipino dish, so he asked if he can have it. So they cooked it for him. It was delicious! I highly recommend everyone to go visit this restaurant.

Wow! Everything was excellent! We found Tess's on Yelp and loved it! The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Our service was wonderful, with a friendly and efficient server. Will definitely stop here again on our way home from the yearly archery shoot.

    Sweet and Spicy Chicken w/rice

Tess's Kitchen is delicious. Second time we have eaten here. Chicken and broccoli stir fry and a burger the first time, the second sweet and spicy chicken. Will be back!

Check out the menu. They've got options.

Ordered a double cheeseburger. It was a homemade burger. Very big. Also ate a side of Mac n cheese. Both were very good.

We visited MI Kitchen in Franklin with absolutely zero expectations, and it ended up being one of…read morethe best dining experiences we've had in a while. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. The first thing that stood out was their small plate concept, and I absolutely loved it. I enjoy trying a variety of dishes instead of committing to just one entrée, and this concept is something I wish more restaurants would adopt. We ended up trying almost half the menu and loved nearly every dish. A huge shout-out to our server, Nestor. He welcomed us warmly, was cheerful throughout the evening, and his recommendations were spot on. He truly made the dinner even more enjoyable. We started with a couple of mocktails, and the Purple Haze was refreshing and delicious. Here are some of our favorites: MI Cucumber - Smashed cucumber with soy dressing, crunchy chili oil, and cilantro. Simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Plantain - Fried plantains topped with sriracha goat cheese, cilantro, and crunchy gremolata. The sriracha goat cheese paired perfectly with the sweet plantains. K-Pop Chicken - Korean sweet and spicy popcorn chicken with great flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Dumplings - Homemade steamed dumplings with edamame, truffle, yuzu ponzu, and garlic confit. I really enjoyed the truffle flavor, though it may not be for everyone. Kimchi Bacon Risotto - Caramelized kimchi, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, and shrimp. One of the best dishes of the night--perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. Crispy Spicy Tuna - Spicy mayo tuna served over crispy rice. This was one of the highlights of the meal. The crispy rice was absolutely perfect. Cauliflower Taco - Crispy cauliflower with guacamole, creamy miso, and tsiran spice. The filling was flavorful, and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly. Lamb Chops - This was the only dish that felt average. The lamb was cooked well, but it was missing a bit of flavor. A little more seasoning, especially some salt, would have really elevated the dish. To finish the meal, we had the Banana Pudding with Vanilla Gelato, which was a delicious and satisfying way to end dinner. Overall, MI Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, a fun small-plate concept, and outstanding service from Nestor made this a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!

It's one of those places where everything is packed with flavor and every dish feels a little special. The Mi cucumber is absolutely to die for--especially when you put it on top of the dumplings. Trust me on that combo! The K-Pop chicken is AMAZING and a must-order every time. The arancini has such a flavorful and unique twist that really stands out. The spring roll was delicious too, full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. And the tacos... you cannot skip them. The beef tacos are incredible, and the cauliflower tacos are just as good. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here. On top of the fantastic food, the service is always great--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend!! Be sure to make a reservation!
