Upon walking in to the office, I was welcomed by a nice staff person who instructed me to fill out some paperwork. I was then taken to a room for the consultation. Dr. Yu advised to have a root canal based on his evaluation. I was then moved to another room for the actual procedure after having anesthesia injections into my mouth. After some prep work done by his very comforting staff, it was time for the games to begin! I appreciated how his staff guided me through the prep work and explained what they were doing. It honestly feels really weird to have your mouth wide open while having strange objects being placed inside. During the procedure, I could see they were passing instruments back/forth. There were weird sounds, noises and smells. I never felt uncomfortable as they always checked in to see if I was doing OK. Before I knew it, the procedure was over and Dr. Yu went over recovery expectations and the like. Overall, it was a very efficient and comfortable process. Hopefully I won't need to return anytime soon but it's nice to know that this office is available in the local area.

I really appreciated how thorough Dr. Martinez was in explaining my situation and the options available. I called into the office and the receptionist said to give it a few more days. 1 week went by, nothing. Two weeks, NOTHING. And they kept telling me it would take a while for the feeling to come back. It's been three years! I regret ever going to this dentist. when it came time for my clean up, the office receptionist called and asked me if I wanted to make an appointment and I told her no and the reason why! She told me they had let go of the dentist who had extracted my teeth . So, I agreed to go in and get my clean up. When I'm walking to the restroom.. I see the same dentist! They lied to me. This place is absolutely terrible. Their staff is great, and the would recommend you looking elsewhere to get your wisdom teeth extracted. That's when the service started going downhill. I was quoted over $1000 after insurance, they were going to charge my insurance plus me paying $1000 cash. I felt like the price was unreasonable since I did a estimate on my insurances website so I said I'll have to think about it. Immediately on the spot they offered a 25% discount, good for today only. After that happened I knew that they were doing shady practices and declined. They further said what price I will be fine with doing the procedure today and they will ask the doctor to see if he will be okay with. I declined since I thought the whole process is bad practice. I then asked for my x-rays so I can show another clinic, they said they would e-mail it but I never got it. Lol. At the end, they asked me for payment for my deductible - all while charging 3% extra because I chose to pay with credit card. lol.

The other dentist was great. I just wished it would have been more affordable. My regular checkup and cleaning were great. I was supposed to get ca call regarding some coverage, but I think the staff got very distracted with a lady they had that required more time with payment. I live that they offer me a cover when I sit because I'm always cold.
