I went in for the first time. Front desfile is very attentive and great at explaining. The doctor... not great. Sorry I have to write this but it's never. Happened to me before . I felt like my procedure was rushed because they were falling behind with patients. Also, very outdated . They used silver instead of white filling . My teeth now are extremely sensitive in that same area after that day. It looks super ugly plus the doctor didn't bother to check the rest of my teeth. I first came to Dr. G in 2011. He came highly recommended and being that I had broke a tooth I needed a dentist stat. I went in a little hesitant as I knew I hadn't payed propped attention to my teeth over the years. He was very professional and matter a fact about what needed to be done to get my teeth in order. It took me a few visits before my teeth were all fixed. The doctor is very good at what he does, is very friendly and leaves me with the impression that he truly cares about his patients. The facility is clean and the staff are great as well. I had to try other dentists in 2017 (due to insurance change) but just hadn't received the same care that I did when I would come to Select Dental Practice. Finally last year I was able to return (due to insurance change again) and I couldn't be happier.... I brought in my wife for the first time here for her to get some work done.. fillings, cleaning etc.. I hadn't been to the dentist in years so I said, "what the heck, might as well get checked out too." BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! The young lady at the front desk, Melissa, signed me in and said they could see me that day. It took about 20 minutes for me to be seen. From other doctors visits at other places without appointment I think that was super quick. Doctor G did my check up and turns out I needed 6 fillings and a route canal and an extraction. At that very moment Dr G and his staff took care of my fillings. I have an upcoming appointment for the rest of the work but that day I went home with my fillings taken care of with nothing out of pocket. They explained to me that medical is now covering things that they didn't cover before such as fillings, route canals, crowns, extractions etc. bottom line I definitely recommend this dentist office to everyone. I like this place especially in the area its located at. Parking is small but you can park on the street. The inside office is clean. Everyone's real nice and helpful! Dr.G managed the whole office so he's very busy. Not sure if its a good thing but he gets work done fast. Its sort of hard to ask him questions after he is done with a patient, he write down stuff on the chart and on to the next patient. CON: Workers are a little unorganized. Came here a couple months ago because my tooth was sensitive . After seeing the dentist he said that it should go away in a couple of days (which it did) . I paid and was about to leave when the receptionist told me I could use a cleaning. I've taken care of my teeth brushing everyday . Dentist even gave me a compliment of how nice my teeth were. I was under the impressing that a cleaning meant whitening. I told her if it was a whitening and she said yes. But a cleaning removes extra cheese from teeth. Which I don't have ! I got the job done and they charged me $400 cash. I felt robbed because I didn't need it and they up sold me and lied about the procedure . I made an appointment for 1pm got there and waited until 2:30pm. I was told to continue to wait. This place has no respect for your time. What is the point of schelduing appointment. If you know you're that full, you shouldn't schedule more people for the same day. This place is terrible. I have to make many personal and work arrangemnents in order to come in, with the expectation of at least being seen, perhaps treatment can be reschedule until another day. However, I did not come in just to sit and wait, even when an appointment was scheduled. You do not have the respect and value for other's time. Do not open for business. I started treatment here this year due to an insurance change I had at my previous practice. I am so happy here. The staff is always positive, communicative, and takes their time in helping you. They have great customer service, which seems to be hard to find now-a-days. Since I've been here, I have been directly under Dr. Guedikian's care. He's efficient, knowledgeable, QUICK, and straight to the point. He knows what he's doing and is great at it! I've had roughly 3 root canals, 2 fillings, 1 cleaning, and a crown done. Usually I find myself having issues with the healing process; it's either hit or miss for me. But with Dr. G, I honestly haven't had to come back, or call about after pain. I usually have issues with anesthesia too, I can never seem to get numb enough. Here, I don't ever have to go past the one or two shots Dr. G gives me. Overall, I'm extremely happy here. So i just came to do a check up on my teeth and i ended up removing one of my wisdom teeth. The doc did a very great job . He works fast and leaves the job clean. I honestly did not feel no pain besides the numbing , which just feels like a little poke.
