So i just came to do a check up on my teeth and i ended up removing one of my wisdom teeth. The doc did a very great job . He works fast and leaves the job clean. I honestly did not feel no pain besides the numbing , which just feels like a little poke. When he was doing the procedure I thought the doc was going to take long but he literally finished in a couple minutes and i felt no type of pain. I been coming here since a youngin and i really recommend everyone to come here. You won't regret it. Best dentist out here in el monte And everyone is real friendly. Okay so I am beyond terrified of going to the dentist, which came from painful past experiences, drill sounds, etc. Well finally I found a dentist that I LOVE. Dr. Guedikian is a phenomenal dentist. I owe him all credits for even having teeth in my mouth!! I always get compliments on my smile, which between us yelpers, would never have been possible without SELECT DENTAL staff and Dr.G. In all seriousness, he doesn't make you feel embarrassed about not coming in for a while and is so skilled at his practice that keeping all my teeth was made possible. (which was no easy feat lol). I am very grateful that I have been his patient for 10 years now. read more

Dr. G and staff are amazing. Just getting home from my second appointment at Select Dental and cannot say enough nice things about them

I had a dental emergency and I was fed up with looking for a dentist I couldn't not trust. I have 6 family members who have been seeing Dr G for the passed 4+ years and they all have been telling me go to Select Dental. Dr G has done maintenance, crowns, root canals, bridges, and 4 ortho referrals to my family alone. I called Select Dental and they saw me same day. I've been to this office 3 times in the matter of 3 weeks and every time I feel safe. The office is clean. Patients are screened for before entering and the waiting area is empty with plenty of social distance. Dr G is very honest, thorough and patient. The only complaint I have is that I wish I would've been his patient sooner. read more

I was very anxious during my first visit, I hadnt been to the dentist in YEARS! but everyone was so warm and welcoming, they treated me as if I had been with them for years. Veronica is always so sweet and willing to answer any questions you may have. My two children (7 & 8yrs) got their teeth checked and cleaned, Dr. G was so wonderful with them, very patient. My daughter had a horrible experience with a previous dentist and even started to cry when she was having her x-rays done. Lupe was so great with her and gave her a lot of reassurance, my daughter felt a lot better afterward, so much so that when we walked out she said "I want this to be my new dentist" I had treatments done the following week and I've never been so happy I went to the dentist! My teeth were pretty neglected and needed a lot of work and Dr. G got right to it! He let me know what I needed to have done, and I said "just fix me". TADA!! I still need some more treatments but I can eat! On both sides of my mouth! thank you Dr. G! I'm actually excited for my dentist appointments now! I highly, highly recommend Select Dental and Dr. G to anyone! read more

Great doctor and his people! They were able to help me with a problem I had the day before, my crown fell out while having lunch and I don't have a current dentist so I checked with yelp, I called to see if they could get me in and they were able to see me the next morning! I think I've found my new dentist!!! Thanks read more

This dentist is TERRIBLE. I was actually recommened here by a family member. She has a PPO insurance and actually takes the 85% as full payment...so i thought oh ok cool. Even though i have an HMO maybe it will be more affordable since hes cool with taking the insurance cut as full payment from PPO plans. I know i needed some work done..most likely atleast 1 root canal. I go in for an emergency appointment because im in pain and i see the dentist. He comes in..looks at my xrays and says "your teeth are terrible. Theyre decaying and for ur age they shouldnt be thay bad". Hey asshole..how about reading my chart and seeing that i just had 2 babies back to back and breast fed both for a year. Anyone that knows anything knows babies take away from ur teeth. So he look in my mouth claims i need 3 root canals. Now dont get me wrong..i knew my teeth werent great...but something tells me if i needed 3 rootcanals...id be pretty miserable. Im not a dentist so i say ok...ill schedule an appointment to get it done. I go to the front office and the girl quotes me over 4 grand. I said uhmm..i have my insurance. She said "ya..thats with insurance."...i said ok well do u have any payment plans? " nope"..ofcourse u dont. So i head on my merry way and call my insurance the next day to get a 2nd opinion from a different dentist..and hope that maybe the insurance can some how send me in the direction of a practice that has a payment plan because who the hell has 4grand to drop on their teeth. When they ask what the problem there was..i tell her what they quoted me and he was speechless. Each root canal is $172 and if it needs a crown an additonal $80. So..no where near 4grand. I run down my experience there and shes pretty sure they tried to screw me. And i have to agree. Remember the PPO patients that dont pay any outta pocket expenses? Ya..thats because all the HMO patients are paying ur share and some!!! I now i have a PPO insurance and even still refuse to go back there even tho id apparently have no out of pocket pay. I see an EXCELLENT dentist now. With a 5 star rating. And would rather pay the 15% im supposed to pay and have good quality HONEST work then go back to that place. Dont say i didnt warn you read more

very horrible treatment from this racist aggressive and horrible attitude orthodontist . treated a family member very agresssive and invaded her personal space. treatment was for 1 year and they keep scheduling different appointments been 2 years and no service today she kicked a sick lady out and she still has all the treatment halfway done . don't go here personal experience . She also use her helpers and the dr never does anything. read more

Dr. G and his team are awesome!!! I wouldn't trust my teeth with anyone else. From a regular cleaning to a recent visit for a crown I've had nothing but great experiences with him. The staff are friendly and Dr. G is very attentive and does a great job of making you feel comfortable. Coming from a dental chicken who avoided going to the dentist, I've never felt better about having to go to the dentist. And I almost forgot to mention his prices are very competitive. If your looking for a dentist or even a second opinion I suggest giving Dr. G and his crew a try. Highly recommended!!! Thanks again Dr. G!!! read more

I was recommended by a coworker... Was a little hesitant at first, given that I live in Korea-town. Anything out of a 10 mile radius is considered "far" for me lol. Figured I'd give it a try considering they were willing to work with my PPO insurance. Once I called to schedule an appointment, office staff was really friendly over the phone. I loved the fact that they're open on Saturdays! Which means, I don't have to miss work (double yay) overall experience FABULOUS!!! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
