The rate was more than reasonable and could squeeze us in the next day. Talking to Elizabeth really put us at ease and everything was explained thoroughly. Checking in was a breeze. Meeting Elizabeth was very pleasant. And, Dr. Phan was so nice and friendly. Mog and he had a good chat. It seemed like old friends meeting up again. Just got my annual check up with Dr Phan! He didn't rush the cleaning process at all and you can tell he loves his by how he puts in care. He's the only dentist in the office and he has a tech that helps him out. Appointment can take 2-3 months but it is worth if you manage and schedule ahead with Dr. Phan. read more

I was referred by a friend and had a great experience for the first time visit here. Parking in rear 4-5 spots. Dentist is friendly and gentle. He does listen and spend time to response your concerns. I love how he doesn't suggest various expensive treatments like others. been going to dr. phan for years. i went from insurance to no insurance back to insurance [metlife]. he's really personable. he takes his time with you. he'll talk and try to engage in conversation, so if you don't like to talk then find another dentist. don't be scared when i say this though. he won't talk an ear off. there's just the right amount of talk to silence. he seems very genuine and wants to gets to know his patients. he's not open everyday because he goes to another clinic to help out there. he graduated from USC. there's handicap parking in the front. back parking spot is only like 4-5 cars. inside is very clean. there's a tv and plenty of magazines to read. the decor is very simple inside. and he definitely has the most updated technology stuff out there. the structure appears to be a house turned into a dentist clinic. it's right by el monte high school and the valley mall. i would highly recommend going to see dr. phan! read more

Dr. Phan literally is the reason how I got over my fear of going to the dentist! I have had an array of horrible dentists so I've always felt uncomfortable. Dr Phan is super friendly and kind. I appreciate his thorough and honest recommendations for my teeth. He isn't trying to sell you anything or encourage "unnecessary" procedures. He is also super gentle and patient so if you have a fear of needles or pain, he will be able to walk you through it. His assistant is also super lovely and nice. They are such a great duo. Their prices are fair and affordable, especially when I didn't have dental insurance for a temporary amount of time. I appreciate having such a great dentist in my hometown. I was referred here by a friend and I haven't gone anywhere else since. Dr. Phan is super friendly and very professional. I come for my normal check up every 6 months and even for only seeing me twice a year he remembered exactly who I was when I walked in each and every time. His assistant is great also. She makes sure to call me to let me know that I'm due for a check-up and asks me when I'm available to come in. They are very sweet and generous about trying to fit me into their schedule, especially on a weekend. I had to have 2 wisdom teeth pulled out and was glad to have Dr. Phan be the one to extract them for me. He was extremely gentle and it didn't hurt as much as when I had my first 2 wisdom teeth taken out when I was in HS. He took x-rays of my wisdom teeth to make sure that he can do the procedure first. He was even going to refer me to another location that he would recommend had my procedure been too advance for him to do in his office. Which was awesome to know that I had other options. Their office is always well kept and extremely clean and that's a double plus on my view. I've gone into dental offices where the place was not well kept, magazines were old and tarnished and everything just looked unpresentable. I love this man. I have so much respect for him and praise him as well. The dentist here is a VERY honest and kind person. I've personally known Dr. Phan since I was a little girl because he has been friends with my mom for long before he opened his place. As far as I would know, he is a real genuine person. ( He saved my drowning sister at his house ). LOL About 3 years ago on July 4th, I was struck on-point by a tennis racket smack on my front tooth and unfortunately chipped it pretty badly. I came to Dr. Phan a week later and he immediately filled it in and everything within 1 hr. It looked perfect! His hands are so damn gentle and everything that might sting, he assures you, it'll be over and just relax. For about another 3 years, my tooth had been totally fine until around Spring Break this year. My wisdom teeth started to ache so bad, I couldn't deal with the pain unless I kept water in my mouth. I slept with water in my mouth having to leave it in my mouth then swallow it then repeat. It was terrible. Dr. Phan talked with my over the phone and suggested I might needed to get my wisdom teeth yanked out.. Then a few days later. My front tooth started to throb and felt like it was moving around. It was way too painful. I went to his office immediately the day after and turned out my front tooth that had been living as a corpse. My front tooth was dead for I don't know how long that when he performed a Root Canal on me, the pus was dried and white. Nasty.. I'm glad that's over. My first 5 star review :) I definitely recommend this place to anybody. If anybody's in pain and needs emergency help, don't be shy and give him call. He'll give you some tips and will do whatever is necessary to help you feel better in no time. read more

One of the BEST dentists I've been to. His office is clean with the most updated technology. His assistant wasn't there that day as she just gave birth so he did everything himself. I went there for a wisdom tooth extraction. My past two extractions done by my regular dentist have been very painful. However, Dr. Phan handled it very professionally and with much care. I feel now that the health profession has been too focused on getting more money and less and less focused on patient care. He talked with me before, throughout, and after the procedure about the outlook of the different health professions, as I'm a graduating senior curious about the different careers out there. He left no details out and even gave me tips on how to ace an interview in the different health schools. The procedure went by so quickly and painlessly. The part that hurts the most is the insertion of the needle into my gums. However, he did it slowly and patiently so that I didn't even feel a thing! He informed me that's the correct way to do it to avoid pain. During my previous procedures, I usually cried during this part (haha). And then during the entire procedure (10 min), he asked if I was doing okay although I felt no pain. He finished everything within 15 min without an assistant!
