The shoe aisle in the back left of the store reminded me of what I would see at a store. I didn't see a lot of decent quality boots from when I could tell. I walked further and at least found a whole wall socks. They at least had a smart wool socks and they were on sale for $13 a pair. I was able to buy almost $200 worth of socks for both of us. At least our feet will be warm the rest of the cool cold weather until spring returns. Might be good to swap out socks today, it's bitterly cold outside. The checkout area reminds me of a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. It announces when the cashier is free and their number for their counter.

You would think they would be easy to find, but it took me several stores to finally get them. I wish this place had Weetabix, but they no longer carry it, and due to the viral trend, they are sold out all over. I loved the variety of interesting foods. I would come back for some of the candy and other food items. They also have some interesting home good items for sale, like a yakatori grill, couches, etc... The people working here were extremely friendly and chipper. The only issue I have is that their prices are higher than most places that sell the same products, so I would not come here for items like Buldak noodles unless you really cannot find them elsewhere. Recently I went down there to return an item -- big mistake. I should have paid the $8 to mail it back. Instead I waited for half an hour in line. There were two women at the customer service desk: a black woman and her manager, a blue-haired Mama June type, fresh out of the trailer park. Blue-hair was talking to a blonde woman she was apparently developing a serious crush on. They talked and talked and talked, recapping and repeating themselves, even though their transaction was over and customers were waiting to be serviced. Finally blondie walked away and I was next -- WRONG! Blue-hair decided now was the perfect time to take a break, so she waddled slowly away leaving only the black woman working the desk. After a long wait, the black woman finally finished with her soul sister and was very surly with me. She ordered me to "remove the items from the bag." Apparently her arms and hands were broken, she couldn't take the two SMALL items out of the OPEN shipping bag...so I took them out for her. She then proceeded to ask why I was returning the items. Irritated by my needlessly long wait and her foul attitude, I was not in the mood to repeat answers I already gave when I processed the return online. So I replied "I already answered those questions when I did the return online." No pleasantries, no apologies for the long wait and definitely no customer service skills from either of these two. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. Do your business online through the JCP website and have your items shipped back and forth. It's worth the extra cost!!!

On March 29, 2026, I visited the Bath & Body Works location at 43151-B Crescent Blvd, Novi, MI 48375 to redeem a coupon valid for any item up to $18.95. I attempted to apply it toward a teacher gift box priced at $19.95, fully expecting to pay the difference, as I have done at other locations. However, the cashier whose name badge was intentionally covered, treated me with clear disrespect and refused to honor the coupon correctly. She spoke in a rude and dismissive tone, argued unnecessarily, and ultimately pressured me into selecting a lower-value item I did not want. The interaction ended with her aggressively tossing my receipt into the bag and responding sarcastically. Immediately after, I contacted customer service and was informed that I was correct in my understanding of the coupon policy. I was issued a $20.00 gift card as resolution. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use the gift card, it disappeared from my account and later showed as "already redeemed," despite never being used. I contacted customer service again on March 31, 2026, and was told the issue would be escalated with a 3-5 business day response window. After receiving no follow-up, I called again on April 4, 2026, requesting a manager. After some resistance, I finally spoke to one, who repeated the same delay timeline and offered a 20% discount code, which did not resolve the issue. As of today, I have still not received any replacement gift card, nor any communication regarding my case. This entire experience from the unacceptable in-store behavior to the lack of resolution and repeated delays. Reflects a serious breakdown in customer service standards. As a manager myself, I find this level of unprofessionalism deeply concerning. I am requesting the following: * A replacement of the $20.00 gift card that was never used * An additional $10.00 compensation for the inconvenience and time spent resolving this issue * A review of employee conduct at this location, including enforcement of proper identification and customer service standards * Improvements to Bath & Body Works' escalation process, particularly eliminating unnecessary delays when simple resolutions are possible I appreciate your time and attention to this matter and look forward to a prompt resolution. Did you know the company gives its employees a huge discount when you work here of 40% off! Then once a month they give you 50% off on usually the last Friday of the month. Which is really unheard of as far as employee discounts go! It's a really fun company to work for. They also give you seasonal free product on occasion just to try out yourself! That way you can help promote new product! Also when we help you, we are truly helping you, we don't get commission from it! Why do people have to bring their dogs to shop for glassware and wreaths? Why does Home Goods allow this? I'm pretty sure it's flash frozen at its peak and they don't have slices they literally have the whole fish.
