Its a family run business and a good one. We got a very thorough introduction to the View before they let us go and thanks to that never had a problem sitting up even the first time. I did call with a couple questions during our first long trip and they were there to answer. Since then service and parts have been good and reasonable. I do have a problem with the company of Winnebago however. The only problem we have had with the View in five years happened on our first long trip headed to Arizona. The A/C went out during very warm weather while we were in Missouri. It was an intermittent problem that occurred often when just slamming the door before it went out completely so assumed it could be as easy as a loose connection. I called Winnebago Dealers in Missouri and Oklahoma and none would get us in for at least ten days to even look at it. Not great when we had a pet in the RV. When we got to Amarillo I tried that wonderful Winnebago dealer and got right in. It was just a loose connection fixed in less than an hour. Point is, if you have a problem while traveling going to a Winnebago dealer, even with a brand new unit, does not guarantee you the type of service you would expect. Reading about others with similar experiences it seems Winnebago has no real control over what the dealers do - you are on your own if you have a problem.

Went to open and wouldn't you know the bow is back. Essentially they had placed a piece of wood, used screws and pulled it forward in a non permanent fix. This camper has literally been nothing but trouble since the beginning. We found the water damage from this bow later on, you can see where either this company tried to cover it up or never inspected it enough when it was traded in. So, now we are stuck with a loan on a camper that every trip has something new go wrong from the original problem that they said was fixed. The most recent was this morning as the bed supports ripped from the wall.

He verified they had the parts, moved out a job that was in the shop & pulled us right in to be worked on. We did a little shopping in the show room (they had everything we needed). He let know about how long it would be & the parts lady gave a great recommendation for lunch. They had us back on the road in just over 4 hours. Amazing service! Very friendly, helpful & reasonable. Also asked if we wanted 4 light bulbs replaced...said no we will do it ourselves. Get there to pick it up and guy says "we took care of those light bulbs for you". Makes it sound like they threw it in, right? Nope...$42 + tax. And they only changed 3 of them. Way out of my way (dealer where truck purchased) WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Stop by a few days later to test drive, was told it was in for service. I just told them I'd be back on the weekend to test drive. I came back on Sat. to test drive, Loved it, put money down. Stop by a few days later to purchase it. When I got it home I notice the tires were low, the next day I stopped by LPM to ask if it was serviced. I was told it was. So I decided to change the air filter just to see if they did. I found a family of mice were living in the air box. Next day I stop by LPM to show them the pics of the mouse house and to ask if they were sure the bike was serviced, and I was told it was. Sounds like they'll tell you what ever you want to hear to make a buck, they'll never see my bike again.
