Beware of these guys! If you give them a deposit on an RV, but have to cancel, you will really have to fight to get back your money. They will use high-pressure to get you to NOT cancel. They will install stuff on the rig without your approval and claim that means you cannot cancel. Then, if they don't convince you that way, they will tell you that if you cancel, they will sell your RV to somebody else, but not refund of your deposit unless/until you buy an RV from them in the future. Other RV dealerships do not do this. This is very poor customer service to say the least. These are unethical business practices. They sell new and used rigs, and also service them. They will even work with you to sell your RV on a consignment basis, if that is what you are looking for. For new equipment, they handle both Winnebago and its sister line Itasca. My experience has been that they bend over backward to help you ... I recently had a disagreement with a neighbors pine tree that hangs over my driveway and resulted in numerous deep scratches on the drivers side rear of our class A. Their body man, Ray, did a better job that I had even hoped for, and it now looks like it just rolled off the assembly line and all for a very reasonable price. From my initial trip out to get an estimate to picking up our coach after the work was finished, they people were helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. We purchased a brand new 2021 Winnebago Intent 30r a couple weeks ago. Upon driving it back home to Denver through a rain storm we discovered that the windshield was leaking water into the cab. We have had it for almost a month now and still cant use it because it has been such a struggle to get the windshield put in correctly. Terry at the dealership was all smiles and grateful until it came time to assist us with getting it repaired. I was speaking with him about our frustration with spending 100k on a motorhome that we cannot use and he hung up on me. We will now be using our own money to repair the windshield and pursue legal means to recover our money. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS! read more

Bought a new Winnebago View and picked it up October 5, 2018. The motorhome has been in the shop for 2.5 months out of the 6 months we have owned it (3 separate failure issues). Currently it is in the shop and no one can say how much longer it will be in the shop. Horrible customer experience. Would never recommend anyone buying a Winnebago. Have been in contact with Greg and Steve in customer service and owner relations at Winnebago. Apparently it is acceptable for a motorhome to be in the shop over 33% of the time. Neither were able to offer any assistance. Worst customer experience I have had in my life. What is the point to owning a motorhome when you can't drive and enjoy it. read more

I purchased my 2015 motor home from this dealer The person who took me on my walk through thought it smart to keep calling me "slim" even though I am a woman who is not. I ignored his rudeness choosing the high road. Several months into ownership I needed a few things repaired from warranty. I took motor home to dealer and later picked up. It was the same condition after one use after they "repaired". My friends were able to correct flaws, not the dealership. Then May 2016 I again tried to use dealership where I purchased my motor home. After waiting over 3 weeks for an oil change and a warranty repair a message was left on my phone asking to move my appointment back. When I called the service department the man on phone said he had no idea why they were cancelling my appointment day. He would have Mick call me back. Mick did call back and said they needed to move my appointment back. I told him he could move my appointment forward not back, as I already waited over 3 weeks for this oil change and small warranty repair. He said there was a death of a friend of the family and couldn't move me forward but backward. I found this strange as the other serviceman had no clue why I would be moved at all. I told Mick this was not acceptable. He said " thank you for your consideration" and hung up on me! I then called Terry, Mick's father and owner of the dealership. I calmly began to tell him my experience about the hang up and of already waiting the 3 weeks for the oil change. Terry cut me off and actually said, "you must have never experienced a death!" I was taken back and replied that I had known death since the age of 12 and had lost 4 siblings and many many others, all the while wondering why on earth I was defending myself! He yelled back into the phone, " well you sure don't act like it!" Then he hung up on me! Confused and shaking me head in unbelief I called the dealership again. I asked for Terry stating who I was. He gets on the phone and I say, I think you hung up on me. He said he did as the conversation was over. I said no it was not over and it was rude of him to hang up. He hung up on me again! I called back yet again stating who I was again. This time when he answered he actually shouted in the phone, " who are you and what do you want!". I'm believing by now this dealership needs help and I explain who I am and that I am getting horrible service from this dealership and I want the phone number of where to report them. He fumbles for a second and spews a number out of his mouth so rapidly it was impossible to write it down. Then he hung up on me yet one more time. Once again I call the dealership apologizing to the lady who took my prior calls stating who I was and needed a phone number from Terry. She was very nice and chuckles. Maybe she is used to this? Terry gets on the phone and I tell him one more time who I am and that he spoke so fast I could not possibly write down the number and please speak slower so I could actually write the number down so I could call and report him. He did! Then he hung up me again... I called the number and it was a wrong number!!! Guess what? I don't give up easy. I called one last time. Terry gets on the phone, answering each and every time, " Winnebago motor homes. How can I help you?" (What a joke). I tell him one more time my name, which by now he should have memorized, and that he gave me a wrong number. He seemed a bit flustered this time and gave me a different number. And I hung up on him! I called the number of Winnebago headquarters and after waiting 24 minutes a real person answered the phone and I reported the totally unprofessional attitudes and service of the owners of Winnebago motor homes. I took my 2015 motor home to Buttita Brothers who did an excellent oil change. The warranty work? Wouldn't trust a flat tire to this dealership! And I was going to upgrade to a bigger motor home! Not with this dealership! And for the person who lost someone, I feel for you, I KNOW what it feels like! I have compassion. Mick and Terry. Not so much.... read more

We bought our Winnebago View here almost 5 years ago and it was not your typical sales experience. No high pressure at all, just the information you need to make a decision. Its a family run business and a good one. We got a very thorough introduction to the View before they let us go and thanks to that never had a problem sitting up even the first time. I did call with a couple questions during our first long trip and they were there to answer. Since then service and parts have been good and reasonable. I do have a problem with the company of Winnebago however. The only problem we have had with the View in five years happened on our first long trip headed to Arizona. The A/C went out during very warm weather while we were in Missouri. It was an intermittent problem that occurred often when just slamming the door before it went out completely so assumed it could be as easy as a loose connection. I called Winnebago Dealers in Missouri and Oklahoma and none would get us in for at least ten days to even look at it. Not great when we had a pet in the RV. When we got to Amarillo I tried that wonderful Winnebago dealer and got right in. It was just a loose connection fixed in less than an hour. Point is, if you have a problem while traveling going to a Winnebago dealer, even with a brand new unit, does not guarantee you the type of service you would expect. Reading about others with similar experiences it seems Winnebago has no real control over what the dealers do - you are on your own if you have a problem. read more

Having been looking for six months and visiting dealerships across Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois, there is no comparison to how you're treated here. Besides a very fair and stress free buying experience, they also backup their product. We had several fairly minor problems appear after using the coach, which they fixed promptly and at their cost, which is almost unheard of in this business today. I live in quincy ca,I recently bought a 2017 winnebago winnie drop from blue dog rv in Oregon.I saved 2500.00 driving 11 hours to purchase.The problem is when I tried to take it to Reno,which is only a hour and 15 mins away for warranty work. the owner Bill of western skys rv said because I didnt buy it there they would not do any warranty work on my winnie drop.I called and left THREE messages with winnebago in Indiana,I havent received 1 call and I called 3 weeks ago.They talk so much about how great the product is but obviously there customer service sucks.Really it shows how shitty Winnebago is, when western skys rv wont do service even though the corporation pays the dealer for that service and winnebago the co. wont even return calls read more

Winnebago is junk. Just received my 2nd recall for my 2016 Era (24' MB chassis). The first one involved defective propane hoses inside the motorhome leaking. I found about the problem when I opened my door and the propane smell was overwhelming. When I called Winnebago, they said "didn't you get your re-call notice" I took it to a dealer and they replaced the defective hose. The second recall is for the interface for the steering wheel radio volume control. The safety recall #17V-262 states to remove the volume control module. I called Winnebago and ask them what the interface does if they can just remove it. Winnebago stated that the interface is only for the volume control for the radio. When I ask what the fix was, they said they would just remove it. I ask how they were going to repair the steering wheel interface, They stated " WE ARE NOT GOING TO REPAIR IT AND IT IS JUST THE VOLUME CONTROL". When I told them that this was part of the 120K Motorhome I purchased, they said it's not optional equipment so we can just remove it (I paid more for the radio with the guidance system). The volume control on the steering wheel is a small matter but, the idea that a manufacturer can just remove items off of a vehicle and say it doesn't matter or seem to care. I hope when someone is looking for a new motorhome they will read this post and stay away from Winnebago, the company truly does not care about the consumer after they sell their product. read more
